Assalamualaikum. I am a revert to Islam (previously Christian), as a child I saw something that changed my life. I saw what I can only explain as a demonic being inside of my home. This was the first of many experiences I've had that bring me to a question I may never have an answer for. What was this being and why me? Since this occurrence I have always been seeking the truth. That being was a demon, we call it Jinn, it is also a creatures like us but with different form and they are unseen realm, and only Allah's premission and will they may appear sometimes for different reasons.
If you see or feel their appearance, you can defeat them with one sentence, which is (Bismillah al Rahman al Raheem) in English is (By the name of Allah the most Merciful) it works everytime. And don't worry nor you fear, they are just creatures like us.

I'm a catholic, what should I do if I give my friends revealing clothes as a gift such as dress, croptops and shorts? Assalamu aleyqum, Allah promised in his glorious Qur’an “I will forgive my worshippers their sins as long as they ask for forgiveness even if their sins are numerous as the foam of the sea” proper way of seeking forgiveness is to fulfill 4 requirements and they are 1, realise that you made a sin, 2, stop doing that sin, promise sincerely to Allah that you will not repeat that sin and finally 4, sincerely ask Allah for forgiveness and help to fulfil your promise not to repeat that sin. Another thing to keep in mind is this a hadith were Muhammad salAllahu aleyhi wesellem said ALL of my ummah will be forgiven and will enter Jannah except those who openly commit sins regardless of how small sin it may seem to them for them is eternal punishment of Jahannam/hellfire. I hope and pray that this is helpful to you and that Allah guides you. Assalamu aleyqum werahmetullahi webereqatuhu.

thx for the protection duas. i will try them out, my life is a complete mess, i can even barely use my voice when im praying sometimes. i think seytan and jinns mess badly with me, specially at night when i go to sleep... but since i pray the 5 prayers and play ruqyah while sleeping, jinns cant hold me back from falling asleep.... alhamdulilah. subhana allah. allahu akbar.

#1 Declare your testimony by saying, _"i bear witness there is no one worthy of worthy excep Allah. And I bear witness Muhammad is His mmessenger"_
#2 Clean your mind, body, and face, then perform prayer 5 times a day at their prescribed times.
#3 Fast for eating and drinking from sun-up to just after sundown. No water, food, sex, sinning during the hours you're fasting. Ramadan last 30 days only. It's not too difficult once you try.
#4 Give to charity. The formula is to give 2.5% of your excess income, what's sitting around in your bank or safe. 2.5% isn't much at all. And that's only once a year.
# 5 If you can afford it, and are of physical ability, perform Hajj...a pilgrimage to Mecca. That rakes a few days but people usually stay a week. You will fall in love with Mecca like everyone does.
None of this has to be done tomorrow. Start with your declaration of faith. Learn the prayers slowly. Fast during the month of Ramadan, and also give your wealth to feed a family, give money to someone in genuine need. Make a future plan to perform pilgrimage and everyday until you leave for pilgrimage, ask Allah to protect you so you can be healthy enough for the pilgrimage.
If you do those things and even mess up along the way, Allah will still forgive you if you just ask Him for forgiveness. In fact, the moment you declare your faith in Islam, then 100% of your past sins will be erased... gone! 100% of your sins erased permanently. You're so lucky to get this chance. You can to it! Your community will help too!

Allahuma inni as alukal jannah
Meaning: Oh Allah, grant me Jannah
Reward : say 3 times & Jannah itself will ask Allah to grant you Jannah (Al Tirmidhi 2572)

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi
Reward :
And he who utters: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’ one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الَْأرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillaahil-lathee laa yadhurru ma’as-mihi shay’un fil-‘ardhi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa Huwas-Samee ‘ul- ‘Aleem
Reward : Recite 3 times. Whoever recites it in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity before evening & whoever recites it in the evening will not be overtaken by any calamity before morning. (Abu Dawud 4/323, At-Tirmizi 5/465, Ibn Majah 2/332, Ahmad)

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Hasbiyallaahu laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa Huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Robbul-‘Arshil-‘Adheem
Reward : Allah Ta’ala will grant whoever recites this 7 times in the morning or evening whatever he desires from this world or the next. (Ibn As-Sunni (no. 71), Abu Dawud 4/321, Ibn As-Sunni. Quran 9:129)

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allaahumma Anta Rabbee laa ilaaha illaa Anta, khalaqtanee wa anaa ‘abduka, wa anaa ‘alaa ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mas-tata’tu, a’oothu bika min sharri maa sana’tu, aboo’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa aboo’u bithanbee faghfir lee fa’innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba ‘illaa Anta.
Reward : Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning & dies during that day shall enter Paradise. (Al-Bukhari 7/150, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: whoever recties ayatul kursi after every obligatory prayer then nothing stands on his way to paradise except death.

“Astaghfirullah al-’Azeem al-lazi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih ”
I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, The Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him
Reward : even if he has committed sins as much as the the foam of an ocean, still he will be forgiven. [Abu Dawud- 2:85/ Tirmidhi 5:569]

The worst thing in today's society is that people are doing many many things and they think, it's their idea. They think they're doing this because they want to, the best example being the dancers. They think they're doing this because they want to not even considering the fact that it's not their plan to begin with.
The woman today think that they're equal to men and yeah, there's nothing wrong with that thinking. But how they're doing it is the problem. From clothing to behaviour and everything else, they think they're masters of their life when infact they're simply being influenced by outside sources. They don't even realize that the men are controlling them by putting these ideas in their heads repeatedly. They've become slaves and the greatest irony is that they don't even realize it

THE WORLD RULER TRIES TO KILL ME
And then a voice of the world ruler came to the angels: “I am god and there is no other god but me.” But I laughed joyfully when I examined his conceit. But he went on to say, “Who is the human?”
And the entire host of his angels who had seen Adam and his dwelling were laughing at his smallness. And thus did their thought come to be removed outside the majesty of the heavens, away from the human of truth, whose name they saw, since he is in a small dwelling place. They are foolish and senseless in their empty thought, namely, their laughter, and it was contagion for them.
The whole greatness of the fatherhood of the spirit was at rest in its places. And I was with him, since I have a thought of a single emanation from the eternal ones and the unknowable ones, undefiled and immeasurable. I placed the small thought in the world, having disturbed them and frightened the whole multitude of the angels and their ruler. And I was visiting them all with fire and flame because of my thought.
And everything pertaining to them was brought about because of me. And there came about a disturbance and a fight around the seraphim and cherubim, since their glory will fade, and there was confusion around Adonaios on both sides and around their dwelling, up to the world ruler and the one who said, “Let us seize him.” Others again said, “The plan will certainly not materialize.” For Adonaios knows me because of hope. I am Christian and believe in the Biblical perspective. But I love to listen to other versions as well to draw conclusions. In this video, you have explained Iblees and Adam's story very beautifully from the Quran perspective and I loved to hear the Quran perspective too. But I would like to share something from a Biblical perspective about why Satan was thrown out of paradise. The image of Adam was actually God's own image in the human form. Because from a Jewish perspective, according to the Bible, the prophets saw the God of Israel in the form of a Man sitting on the throne. Abraham to all Israeli prophets described the God of Israel as a man whose face was like Jasper stone. And when God created Adam, He said to His angels and all the angelic beings saying, " Let Us make man in our own image and likeness!" And Adam was created in the image of God. Satan and angels did not know that God had a human body too because they worshipped God only in His glorified form which was like Seraphim or any fiery being, but they never knew about God's human image. But it is written in the book of Psalms that although God is high and Almighty God yet, He is mindful of the lowly. And God's human form was a lowly form for angels to bow down and worship. It is just as if a king sits on the throne people can worship him but if he disguises himself as an ordinary servant many will refuse to bow down and worship him. And that was a test for all angelic beings whether they worship God's human image or not. Angels bowed and worshipped the image of God, but Iblees refused to bow down before God's human image, and that brought him down to nothing. Because God was hiding in that human image. That is why the Bible teaches that God became man and was born from a Virgin Mary because Jesus Christ was the actual image of God whom Iblees refused to worship.

Allah did not create Satan to be evil incarnate. He created Iblis to worship him. And he did so for a few thousand years. Then he chose to reject Allah because of his pride and arrogance believing that he was better than Adam.
As a result, he became the accursed. The better question is; "What is the wisdom of Allah allowing Iblis to live."
