The same is happening to us in Indian punjab slowly now. We are fleeing while they are sending RSS educated people into citiies in Punjab to change those demographics. Khalsa Panth will always flourish, with or without Raaj. You are confusing two different things. Khalsa Panth exists today, and it will continue to exist. That said, I humbly request you to change your media strategy and messaging when it comes to Amritpal Singh and Khalistan. You are losing the war to the media, which is an important weapon of this age. The most important target audience are Indians, who cannot or will not dedicate enough time to listen to long videos. Even though I listened to most of your video and trust your organization, most people will understandably only listen to highlights. You need to do short clips on key messages. I hope that this message can be conveyed to Amritpal Singh as well since he now has the attention of India. Do 5 minute videos on different topics as the media keeps portraying Sikh activists as terrorists. Amritpal needs to awaken India, not just the Sikhs, especially since sadly many Sikhs identify themselves as Indians first. Here are three topics that I came up with. Image of Sikh activists as Terrorists - Speak to the Indians, not just the Sikhs. Here are some key points: - Sikhs always carry shastar not to intimidate but to protect ourselves from oppressors. You as Indians all know how dangerous India can be when you raise your voice. - Our weapons are not fear tactics. Our shastar was used when we fought Aurungzeb, the British, and other occupiers. Our Shastar was used when people abducted Hindu women centuries ago and people were being forced into converting to another religion. - In the early 20th century (not sure of exact time period), whenever women would see Sikh men in their train, they would feel safe. Amritpal Singh - Regardless of whether you agree with Amritpal on Khalistan, here are some key facts about him. - The police station incident was not an attack. It was a peaceful protest, which included kirtan, and became violent when police attacked. We all should protest whenever an innocent person is unlawfully arrested. - Even if you don't agree with his views, he has never been violent, and is therefore not a terrorist. His sole intention is to create a stronger Punjab, which is dying to drugs, debt, water shortage, etc - Fully listen to his speech to understand where he is coming from. - Some of us believe that Punjab's future can be saved through a separate raj. Others believe that we are a part of India. We need to have open dialogue, one in which we can understand all the issues (drugs, water shortage). History Repeating Itself - Sikhs have always protested whenever there has been injustice. You have all seen this in the Farmer's protests. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Sikhs protested against Indira Gandhi's emergency and the Anandpur resolution, which asked for greater autonomy on a State level for everyone. Shortly after our successful protests against Indira Gandhi's regime, the entire movement was summarized into a small narrative: Terrorism, Separatism, and Radicalism. Their characters were systematically attacked followed by a physical genocide which still occurs today in the form of drugs, illegal detentions, fear of speaking out. - Today, it appears that the same thing is happening. Followed by the Farmer's protests and a wave of activism, Sikhs are being characterised as radicals, terrorists, etc. - Listen to all activists, regardless of whether you believe that the solution is Khalistan. And not from just the mainstream media which just wants to vilify and distort information. - As Indians, you might not think that Punjab does not affect you. But if you want us to be united, then you need to listen. If you don't stand up and arm yourself with information, eventually it will affect you. - First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me.
Please read I suggest that the schools that we have established where we teach tabla Kirtan and etc we should focus on history and santhia . We can incorporate Sikhi into English class, where the material is about sikhi, from books and primary sources not online. For western places. Where if they have an essay assignment they write about things related to culture and religion .
Caste is unfortunately codified into the Indian system by having BC, OBC, General, etc classes. It is meant to help people but it keeps caste alive and put it into law. Should have used property ownership, financial circumstances, etc. to help people.
The British are to blame for making caste so prominent. They knew the way to rule was to divide and conquer so they began dividing religions and castes. Even today Sikhs suffer and aren’t accepted for their identity, tomorrow it may be Christian’s and Jains and soon enough the will try to eradicate all low caste Hindus to only have Brahmins and high castes. I don’t see this as a democracy it is very blatant dictatorship
During 1984 riots which was a political riots not a religious thing done by supporter of that government, during that crisis RSS was the one that help Sikh, and lots of sikh people are also members of RSS
You guys forgot 1955 attack on Harmandir Sahib, that 50 kilometers inward from border wiith Pakistan is controlled by the Army. Firstly thank you so much for all your videos on Sikh itihas. This video was very enlightening and your dedication is inspiring.
That said, I humbly request you to change your media strategy and messaging when it comes to Amritpal Singh and Khalistan. You are losing the war to the media, which is an important weapon of this age. The most important target audience are Indians, who cannot or will not dedicate enough time to listen to long videos.
Even though I listened to most of your video and trust your organization, most people will understandably only listen to highlights. You need to do short clips on key messages. I hope that this message can be conveyed to Amritpal Singh as well since he now has the attention of India. Do 5 minute videos on different topics as the media keeps portraying Sikh activists as terrorists. Amritpal needs to awaken India, not just the Sikhs, especially since sadly many Sikhs identify themselves as Indians first. Here are three topics that I came up with.

- Speak to the Indians, not just the Sikhs. Here are some key points:
- Sikhs always carry shastar not to intimidate but to protect ourselves from oppressors. You as Indians all know how dangerous India can be when you raise your voice.
- Our weapons are not fear tactics. Our shastar was used when we fought Aurungzeb, the British, and other occupiers. Our Shastar was used when people abducted Hindu women centuries ago and people were being forced into converting to another religion.
- In the early 20th century (not sure of exact time period), whenever women would see Sikh men in their train, they would feel safe.
Amritpal Singh
- Regardless of whether you agree with Amritpal on Khalistan, here are some key facts about him.
- The police station incident was not an attack. It was a peaceful protest, which included kirtan, and became violent when police attacked. We all should protest whenever an innocent person is unlawfully arrested.
- Even if you don't agree with his views, he has never been violent, and is therefore not a terrorist. His sole intention is to create a stronger Punjab, which is dying to drugs, debt, water shortage, etc
- Fully listen to his speech to understand where he is coming from.
- Some of us believe that Punjab's future can be saved through a separate raj. Others believe that we are a part of India. We need to have open dialogue, one in which we can understand all the issues (drugs, water shortage).
History Repeating Itself
- Sikhs have always protested whenever there has been injustice. You have all seen this in the Farmer's protests.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Sikhs protested against Indira Gandhi's emergency and the Anandpur resolution, which asked for greater autonomy on a State level for everyone. Shortly after our successful protests against Indira Gandhi's regime, the entire movement was summarized into a small narrative: Terrorism, Separatism, and Radicalism. Their characters were systematically attacked followed by a physical genocide which still occurs today in the form of drugs, illegal detentions, fear of speaking out.
- Today, it appears that the same thing is happening. Followed by the Farmer's protests and a wave of activism, Sikhs are being characterised as radicals, terrorists, etc.
- Listen to all activists, regardless of whether you believe that the solution is Khalistan. And not from just the mainstream media which just wants to vilify and distort information.
- As Indians, you might not think that Punjab does not affect you. But if you want us to be united, then you need to listen.
If you don't stand up and arm yourself with information, eventually it will affect you.
- First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me.

I suggest that the schools that we have established where we teach tabla Kirtan and etc we should focus on history and santhia . We can incorporate Sikhi into English class, where the material is about sikhi, from books and primary sources not online. For western places. Where if they have an essay assignment they write about things related to culture and religion .

Caste is unfortunately codified into the Indian system by having BC, OBC, General, etc classes. It is meant to help people but it keeps caste alive and put it into law. Should have used property ownership, financial circumstances, etc. to help people.
The British are to blame for making caste so prominent. They knew the way to rule was to divide and conquer so they began dividing religions and castes. Even today Sikhs suffer and aren’t accepted for their identity, tomorrow it may be Christian’s and Jains and soon enough the will try to eradicate all low caste Hindus to only have Brahmins and high castes. I don’t see this as a democracy it is very blatant dictatorship
