🔥We are thrilled to share with you our studio's latest project. Arrasax Dragon - The Abyss Dancer.
As a big fan of the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon series from HBO, we have always wanted to make a cinematic about a dragon flying around in Unreal Engine. Together, we finally make it possible.
It took us 6 months from the first concept sketch to the final render of the video. Each step: concept, modeling, rigging, animating take much longer time than a normal character and very stressful (especially the rigging).
While sculpting the Dragon, we found out that there is a vertices limit for a subtool in Zbrush (100mil point). Because slicing the dragon into smaller subtool is not very good idea so we had to reduce a lot of detail of its skin 😥.
We really hope you enjoy the video!
