Hi, can you please help me or make a video on the fire stick Miracast screen sharing app? When we share to our tv the screen is upside down. It doesn’t matter what way you turn the phone the tv still shows it as upside down even though it’s the right way up when looking at the phone. Also some videos won’t stream when you turn your phone sideways (to make the tv full screen) as it says it can’t support the media for some reason. Everything used to work fine but now it’s completely gone wrong and we can’t work out why it’s upside down and can’t play certain videos from websites full screen? We’ve done loads of research and we can’t find anything that answers iPhone Miracast to Toshiba tv. Your advice would be great appreciated as always. 1 advantage of the actual TV's is u can still access the android recovery menu that amazon disabled on the sticks and cubes by unplugging the tv and as u plug it back in hold the power button down until the tv logo appears and let go wipe cache partition fixes alot of errors with storage lag and buffering why amazon disabled it the android recovery menu on sticks and cubes I'll never understand after a few months the sticks and cubes get bogged down wipe cache partition fixes that issue along with other issues without having to start from complete scratch every few months that's why I got the tv because I got sick of resetting to factory defaults whenever it gets slow
Hi I took advantage of the ivacy app you recommended for my paramount app. I did through your site. I do have a question, my Netflix disappeared from app lineup yet it’s installed. I did notice I have to force stop ivacy so other regular USA programs can i How can I get Netflix to show on main lineup? How can I stop amazons new all page upper part?

I got the new 4K max on black friday and have problems with the external storage (Used several different drives) but i format them on my PC to fat 32 also tried exFat and ntsf but the 4kmax doesnt recognise or restricts full access to it. It also asks me to format it on the firestick. I eventually managed to get it to work but next time i switched it on it had same problems. annoying as each time had to reformat ect.. i use ip*v so use the external to copy links amongst other things. I copied the link to the internal storage using one of the file apps but its such a pain in the ass hoping that the usb drives will work every time. Just thought it might be something to do a video on and maybe a common problem. My adapter works as i have my ethernet plugged into it and always recognises the drives but just doesnt like them... also tried with ethernet unplugged and still same problems.
Does having the Firestick 4K Max make a difference? It's on sale currently so I'm thinking on getting it. I have the Firestick 4K 8GB and always notice I have less then 1gb of space. I tried this on my Firestick and I love the CPU function.

Go to settings. So under about My Fire tv. Then click on About. Mike says Fire tv 4k max but yours will say whatever the firestick is. Click the center button on your remote fast about 7-10 times and it will make you a developer Click back once and you will see developer options, click on that and turn on ADB Dubugging and install unknown apps on also. Then you can add whatever apps you like or side lead they say
Adam, I'm located in the U.S. and am using the same version of 'Developer Tools Menu 5.01' that your video shows. The only difference is that I'm still using the original FireStick 4K (FireOS 6). However, when I select the 'Launch Config. Panel,' I still have the 'CPU' option available (and those DO show up in the display)! My 'Remote' (battery level) also displays properly! I noticed that 'Connected Remote' IS shown as an available option in your video (and the default of "ON" was selected), so why it was not being displayed for you, seems rather odd? I can only assume that those two missing display options must be connected to your specific 'FireStick 4K MAX.' You didn't mention which one you were using (1st or 2nd Gen?). If it was the new 2nd Gen one, maybe your lack of those two options could be associated with the 'FireOS 8' bugs that still exist for that new stick? As I said, I am using the same version of the 'Developer Tools Menu' app as you. Weird, eh?

@@Fire0101011 I tried that.. it opens temporarily then does the same thing continuously.. it's something with Amazon blocking it.. I have like 6 firesticks (not all hooked up at once) but they all have started doing the same thing.. I think it's Amazon.. im hoping someone chimes in with a new app to install that fixes this..
I've had my original remote (for orig. 4K stick) lose its Volume, Mute and Power ability on three occasions now (I have no clue why/how this happens ... though I suspect it could be caused by sitting/leaning on the remote while falling asleep?). Anyway, the solution each time, was to go into "Settings/Equipment Control/Manage Equipment/TV/Change TV", then follow the prompts. It will ask what brand of TV you're using (and likely show you the name, so you only have to confirm it); then you'll verify that your 'Power' button is now working; then it will place some music, so you can verify your 'up' and 'down' Volume buttons are now functioning (and 'Mute'). There is also the option to see if you can set/change your 'Input/Source' selection (however, your TV must support that option). My older 'dumb' TV does not, so you can skip this if it doesn't work. Then you just select 'Finished' and your Remote should be working properly again. Hope this solution works for you!
What Firestick are you using? I have the the Firestick 4K and pushed the home button then the circle button then down for about 3-5secs then the 3 line button and worked.
