Hell yeah! Who did you mention makes that K series to ZF adapter? What do you have planned on management for that trans?
K power industries does the adapter kit itself. I'm fully standalone on this build. The transmission has one sensor on the side which I think maybe has to do with temperature but we shall see. It is a manual 5 speed so it shouldn't need much.
When you started describing the layout of the cantilever suspension, I was picturing the rockers identical, with offset shock mounts, so that when they're installed the shocks lay beside each other, and then you went and said you were doing exactly that, lol. Loving the videos and builds.
Im drawing a blank, is this the second or third iteration of the 27 Type R@ (as i think of it)?

This is the third time around which is unfortunate but it's all just a learning process for me being that I'm still new to fabrication so I'm doing my best to make the best products I can for my enjoyment really.
How do you seal the inside of the tube chassis against rust? It seems people always talk about exterior rust-proofing, but nobody mentions the inside of the tubes. I love your builds and renders by the way.
That's actually a good question 🤔 So I know you can completely fill the chassis with oil and then drill holes after the fact. Then just fill the holes with weld filler once done. This basically creates a film inside the tubes so that you dont get corrosion from the inside.

Hi build looks good . But just wandering why you haven't got a shroud on you welder?
Thanks! Because I work outside I use flux core wire to weld which doesnt require a shield. Because I deal with wind, water, dirt and debris if I use any sort of gas coverage it contaminates the weld immediately.
Did you go to school to learn how to do the frame, cage, and weld? If so what classes did you take? I wanna learn how to do this!
I didn't go to school at all. I taught myself everything I know because I couldn't afford school and nobody wanted to teach me.

Just gotta do a lot of digging on the internet. The black wheels I had on it are for sale tbh. I don't need them anymore. But they are out there for sure! Just gotta do some looking.

@@slzbuildz 5x4.5 or 5x5 dual pattern on them. I only want like 650 for them tbh.
