We deconstruct the CX500 v twin powered minirod in order to rebuild and turbocharge the engine, fix up and modify the chassis and update the look.
This is such a sweet build can't wait to see how you go with it. I resto-modded a CX500 myself and have plans to turbo in the nxt 12 months so I'm super keen to see this come together.
Hey Sir,
Seeing you are about to embark on a turbo project for your CX as well !
I am currently designing a twin-turbo concept for a cafe racer project at the moment.
I would be very interested in your thoughts on what size turbos you are thinking about utilizing.
My thoughts are leaning toward smaller rather than larger, may help with reduction of turbo lag.
How far along are you with your project at the moment if you don't mind me asking ?
This is a really cool little project. I love it!
Absolutely love this thing! I have a 5hp briggs and stratton powered one and ive always wanted to put a bike engine on that
Wow love your build keep up the great work build #2 👍
Looks super sick! Definitely want one
Damn cool! You Aussies know how to go fast and have a good time!
I would like to see a Kawasaki 1000 and a tunnel for the driveshaft. You have built a cool street rod good job
Use a in line four cyclinder you will have a two pipe header on each side and a lot more power
Duane White subaru or vw flat four
Thats fricken cool
Use sos pads on the rims to shine them up
I need to find a way to contact you with your challenges with twin turbo-charging the CX500 engine.
I am working on a current design to do exactly the same thing on a cafe racer CX project myself.
Hoping to not recreate the wheel as much as possible.
I am have been extremely impressed with your work on your little hotrod !
+quadsman11 hi! Thanks so much for the support, the best way to contact us is through our email Tastuned@gmail.com or through our Facebook page. We are by no means experts but are happy to offer what advise we can!

Drinking a Kirk's Lemon Squash, eh?
Awsum!
Hello gentleman, I speak directly here from Brazil.
First of all, congratulations on the videos.
I'm making a 1: 2 scale replica of the ford model the coupe. I would like to know the name of this type of direction, I researched on google but did not find anything on.
(sorry for anything, I'm using the translator)
hi, thankyou for the love. im not sure exactly what you are looking for however i can maybe suggest that you watch our videos which show eactly how we created our mini hotrod
Lil eng that could lol
What's the rearend out of? I know its shaft driven. But has an offset,
+Joshua Shields the rear end was custom made using the standard bike rear hub. I bored out the centre so that a 1” axle would slide through. I then put a key way and hub on that attaches where the original wheel did.
What is the rear diff set up again?
+Scale MOB Scalers we have used the standard bike rear hub / diff. Checkout our latest videos to see more of the setup.
shit yeahhhh
@tastuned what is that rear end out of?
+Krieg Geardon have a look at my other videos, I have one explaining it
@@TasTuned I actually just ran across it about a half hour before you replied didn't realize you just used the whole cx500 drivetrain for it cool videos man get that thing back up and running
That thing is alsome
