I haven’t played dota for 6 months. So I’m sure u can understand how puzzled I am on what exactly dota has turned into
Nah, people just dont like changes, every patch is like that.
Well believe it or not only one patch was delivered since you left (because of the international) all these chenges are 7.07.
In short: lots of weird or really strong talents were added (my favorite is 300 attack speed at level 20 for.............. Crystal maiden), 2 new heroes (the fairy and the pangolin) one is a support and the other is.... well... no one really knows for sure its semi durable but not really, good escape, good burst damage and that ball of nonsense is his ult he's magic immune but the turn rate is like jakiro with 10 charges of napalm, since it bounces on walls its super easy to miss the target and end up in retarded places, then 4 or 5 new items added, tiny and morph got reworks, map has changed jungle-wise and they pretty much fucked every support in the game by making wards more expensive.
Thats like... the super short version because you see... purge's analysis video is 10 (TEN) hours long. NOT KIDDING.
With that many changes the patch had major balance issues in the first week but since then like 4 or 5 balance patches were released and its way better now.
Paulo Mangano I’ve seen invoked do 4 sun strikes in a row. And kunka do 4 ultimates. That’s not a patch. They broke the game
Those are talents, kunkka lvl 25 can divide his boat into 3 (4 on the first week but it was nerfed) and the invoker one is another skill, he can cast armaggedon instead of sunstrike wich basically summons 2 sunstrikes one behind and one in front of each enemy hero globally, they share cooldown tho and this one is way longer.
The multiple cast instances is because of the refresher shard, the third time roshan is killed he will drop a consumable refresher orb, wich doesnt share cooldown with normal refresher orb (they dont refresh each other tho), allowing for 3 casts of an ultimate if one has both.
Anyway it didnt change that much, plays like these are only possible lvl 25+ after 3 rosh kills.

I remember when pudge's hook had an ok range and deal magic damage.
Every patch they buff it, next the skill is gonna be insta kill and with no cd and mana cost.

I quit dota after 11 years, planned to retire back in 2007 but continued anyway because of my friends. and now that they have retired, i likewise did, it was fun, but it is a huge waste of time, better spend time playing games with good stories, read books or just be productive in life. even if yoy earn money in dota, it pretty fucks your body due to sedentary lifestyle. that's why I am glad i left, but i will cjerish my memories still.

сначала посмотри как выглядит панголин. у этого кошака лишь панцирь как у него
Я знаю как выглядит панголин и в игре у него даже когти такие же. К тому же с котом у него точно ничего общего и сам псевдоним героя "Пангольер" намекает на то, что это панголин. Более того на заставке с ним можно увидеть тренирующегося детеныша у которого тоже панцирь. Ну а если и этих доказательств тебе мало то вот еще, на то что это панголин намекает его 2й скилл и ульта, т.к. отсылает к манере поведения этого животного, тобишь сворачиваться в клубок.

какие доказательства? я понимаю, что они хотели сделать панголина, но морду слепили не его, зубы приделали, длинющего языка не наблюдается, на лапах панциря нет, в отличии от панголина. у него вообще ничего схожего внешне с панголином нет, кроме когтей и местами панциря. зато на кота в сапогах из некоторых артов чертовски похож за исключением этих когтей и панциря. еще скиллы приплел...кошак будто в клубок не сворачивает, да и могли бы тогда уж с языком придумать что-то. панголин в доте достаточно быстрый, в реале кошаки быстрые, а панголины медленные, спокойные. так что хоть этот стёб про "кота в сапогах" и шуточный, но в каждой шутке доля шутки.

"They change a little bit"....now that was awesome.....iam not saying no to changes ok.....but this changes the way the game was interesting in the first place.....second.....you can see that the changes are not even well thought....they just randomly said "lets place these shits and hope for the best.....hopefully we are gonna get some more money...otherwise we will fix the shit in the next patchnote"....so basically the "new changes you are saying" are changes that dont even last for 1-2 months......for example void......they removed the backtrack and placed it BACK AGAIN.....seems like someone is running out of ideas.....its not new....ITS RECYCLED STUPID IDEAS....nothing more nothing less....its the same as call of duty...every year they tell you its a NEW cod,NEW system,NEW engine and what we get is.....SAME SHIT recycled....so dont tell me about "new changes and ideas and new game style".....pls.....

For those wondering about io not moving while turning, it's not just him, any hero can do it. Hold ALT while right clicking to go straight to an area and you'll turn to face that direction before moving in a straight line. Since the hero needs to turn before moving if you keep making him turn then he'll never move out of his position.
You can enable it in options somewhere "alt directional movement" or something.
