I may not have been the one who you saw but I’m pretty sure I have recommended them to you guys. I’m really glad they helped you guys since they really helped my with my noodle feet! I haven’t tried them yet because they are expensive but I found shoes like it but they have ones a bit taller and are labeled as AFO alternative shoes so when he outgrows them maybe give them a try. The brand is medica orthopedic shoes,

I wish they made adult shoes too! The numbers on the shoes are BRILLIANT and would be an amazing tool for those that can't necessarily afford orthotics at the moment
Every time I see one of your videos, I am startled and saddened that I had to make it to adulthood with some similar issues but without the amazing support your kids are getting. So glad they're very loved and so adamantly supported by you.
I love how you care and will do anything for him. We need more parents like this. Sometimes parents with disabilities kids just don't care and use them for views!
i love how not only are you doing everything a mama can, but also helping other mamas who might need something affordable in the meantime for their littles as well!❤
Those are neato!!! I have a niece with special needs who wears braces, I don't think she really needs these, but they are very cool!!!! Her special needs aren't severe, but she does still need the braces. She has Autism and DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder)
Omg I'm so behind on your videos! I can't believe that's Griffin! Look at him go! All that hard work you did with him has paid off... He's walking so well ❤ awww
I wish these existed for adults!! There’s so many people who don’t know what exactly is wrong with their feet, but just know it hurts to walk or stand long periods of time, something like this in adult sizes would be SO useful even in non CP cases.
I have a daughter that wears braces she also wears a boot in the brace as he grows check them often we also put a thin foam onbottom of braces so her feet do not hurt when she was walking long times . They are a god send for her .
I understand that the shoes were expensive and I do understand that Griffin does need proper support to help him but like Mom said they are good for a temporary support while his proper equipment is getting fixed. You're doing a great job Mom! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
I've worn out the equivalent of 1,2 and 6 on my last pair of trainers. On both feet. I was like "hey mum, I think I'm walking funny" and she said "no you're fine"
Those are the type of shoe I got for my toe walker because it said they stop them from doing it but I got the wrong size.... I went on a website called Ali Express which you should also look into because they have those type of shoes for like super cheap I paid 45 my my child's but had to give them to my cousin for her kid since they were the wrong size ... I have not reordered for the fact that I'm to scared to mess up the size again
I’m a nine year old and I have Been walking on my tippy toes for years and I now go to Physical Therapy and I wear braces every day and if the braces don’t work, I get serial casting and if the serial casting doesn’t work, I get surgery and I don’t want surgery so I hope those braces work😊
Cool he walks like the opposite way I do I walk with my feet pointed outwards he walks with his feet pointed inwards. Neat. It’s like somehow I relate to him despite us walking in different ways I guess it’s because we still walk in a nonconventional way. So cool I love when I can relate to people.
Im genuinely just curious about the genetics of having multiple children who are nuerodivergent or autistic. I went to school with these kids who were siblings who were four years apart but they have the exact same type of condition. I was always fascinated on how genetics worl that way bc i always assumed that conditions and autism were just ransom chances if anyone knows please explain!!! Not hate im genuinely just curious
Autism and some other neurodivergencies are genetically passed on. If your parents are both autistic, there is a higher chance you will be too, and siblings that both have the same condition are more common for the same reason
i think they have avoided studying the genetics of autism too in-depth because it would open up a lot of ethical concerns about eugenics that we as a society aren’t in a place to properly address
I'm no Dr but it's possible the parents have not been diagnosed. I have a friend who's autistic the only clue to me was she would write with both hands on the white board at the same time she's a lefty so her left hand would write her name normal and her right hand would write in mirror. We think her husband might be slightly too. They now have 2 autistic kids who are more on the spectrum than mom and dad. They have them in a special school and we think the boy might be able to take the high school route and we think the girl will take the life skills route she's got behavior issues, he's pretty calm and delayed but soooo smart when it comes to space he knows planet names in other galaxies that are just numbers 😅
As a former kid who hated (and constantly broke) AFOs, these seem like a really good alternative if lack of propriception/normal flexibility is what's causing the child (or adult) to break them.
please tell me they make them for adults too?!!! I wear braces and I feel like a lot of ortho shoe companies forget that some kids born with disabilities grow up to be adults with disabilities and only have shoes for kids and I find there aren't many options for adults
Man im 20 yrs old and would love to wear these. As a person who austism and have flat feet that walk inwards i would love to figure out where im walking on.
Also, if possible, can we give your son his privacy? As a CP kid I was CONSTANTLY filmed for studies and such, people always knew my name when I didn't know theirs, and it gave me such bad paranoia. You can talk about the things you do to help your son without having to show him on camera or say his name over and over. We are STRANGERS, we do not know you and your son does not know us! Please maintain his privacy.
I agree while it's wholesome sometimes not only is it gonna do that but it's a safety risk GENUINELY. there people who use social media to build a case and traffic children not only that there's AI that predators train on videos and pictures of children to make inappropriate things. Kids really don't belong on the internet period it's simply not safe at ALL. and sadly we're only realizing how bad it is now.
Why is he put behind the baby gates? Is he not able to be in the kitchen without hurting himself? What kids of accidents have happend? Is it because his legs are unreliable and he could fall, grabbing on to a boiling pot of water to break his fall, only to submerge himself in the flesh peeking heat of spaghetti primer?
I think it's great that you will do anything to help your special needs. Son, and you know, so will the rest of us. Parents especially needs children. And that's why I'm going to say what I'm about to say. It's not right, nor is it fair that these companies charges a crazy amount of money for things when it doesn't need to be that way. I guarantee you. It doesn't cost him near that to make the product. But they're gonna charge us a 100 times the amount. It costs to make them. It's just not right. It's greedy is what it is because they know as parents. We will do anything to help our children and these greedy stuffed suits take complete advantage of all of us

I got the sandals by the way and i use cascade cricket inserts in them
I think they would definitely replace Lindy’s braces as her gait looks nearly perfect

You did so much for your children
They must be so lucky to have you
Love ur vids❤
Thats a really smart idea on their part. So simple but effective!
Look how well Griffin is walking!!! ❤
The more options the better! Your doing amazing 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oh no little dude! I hope they got fixed up and he wasn’t in too much pain! You’re such a good mom
He's walking so good without them!
I really wish I had those when I was little bc now I'm 17 with a walk that Im very self conscious about.
She has superkids all of them are special
He's so stinkin adorable 😊🎉
He is walking so well even without his braces!
look at that sweet boy go!
He look wonderful in his new shoes!
My late brother had shoes like this. Best wishes and thanks for that memory ❤

Looks like he enjoyed hos new shoes! Also pretty smart design at the sole of the shoe. I hope it's as helpful as it sounds!
What a cool invention!
I think these would be really good for Sawyer

Please don't share your age online it can be really dangerous and people can try to take advantage of or harm you for it

My 7yr old wears AFOs. She's been in them for years. There's a brand of shoes called Billy's that works great with them
Why are they so expensive in America
?? Here in Greece cost 60 euros aprox 63 dollars!
Thank you for sharing ❤️
God love him, he's such a beautiful boy
I should of had these as a kid
That is so awesome!!
Great back up plan!
I have AFO's too and Billey shoes work for me they have a zipper on the side so it is really easy to get my brace in and out of the shoe
Good show
God bless you

I use billys that may work

I needed braces on my legs when I was kid but my mom never got them for me so I ended up sticking pencils in my shoes so I could walk straight
❤

Companies when they get to exploit people in need:
Are there any other shoes besides Billy's for AFOs??
i wosh with such specialized shoes it had a wider toe box 🙃
Do they make them for adults as well?
I would like to know as well.
I love ❤️ your son. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
😮
I know I'm a heavy big toe walker
I thought it was kinder chocolate
Bruh I thought the bottom of those shoes were chocolate
this is the kid who scrapes his feet and stands on the back of your shoes
He walks a lot like my little brother did when he was little he has CP
Thumbnail looked like chololate shoe 💀
Anyone know of any adult equivalent?
Is it just me or do the soles kind of look like they're made out of chocolate😅
Hiiiiiiii
Do y'all have a cash app i can send some $ to?
Why does griffin not use a walker
Does he have mental issues too or just walking?
Those shoes look like teeth
Do they know why they've had so many disabled children?
Interesting but you do not need special shoes to indicate how someone is walking you can clearly see the wear on regular shoes
