I've stayed at Micaela a couple of times in the last few years, and the inside has been renovated and very much improved after covid, I believe. It is now under a most competent and friendly manager, Pedro, a guy originally from Cuba.

Beautiful walking tour
I stayed about a week at the Hostel Micaela in 1973 and I'm amazed that it still looks pretty much the same!
