I remember that time I always shipped Dufei with Yiping because I can see that Du Fei is type of A Man who really loyal & faith, keep his love only for one woman and not easily changed temperament , 21 years ago really wish that Chiung Yao as the writer, would change the ending of this drama hahaha then I found I was not the only one. In 2019 Some of Chinese celebrity friends such as Andy Yang Zi, Bai Ju gang and other crew from CR program told us how they feels when yiping and Dufei has special deep chemistry and warmth relationship which could not easily understand by common people. They think it's much better Yiping with Dufei happy ending. Everything will be so huge different if only Alec Su did not refuse to play role as He Shu huan in Romance in the rain that time. Chiung Yao as The writer and also the excutive producer of Hzgg & Kabut Cinta explain that it was so true, since the first place She offered the role character of He Shu Huan is for Alec Su you peng, and Not for Leo Ku. But due to personal reason, Alec Su prefer to choose as Du Fei as he wants to new experience. Same to zhao wei, she actually prefer to be Ru ping, but the producer did not allowed her to do so because "yiping's role need someone who is good in singing & strong emotional like her".

Love Vicki Zhao so much. She is such a brilliant actress and make Yi Ping come alive. I cry everytime Yi Ping cry because Vicki is just that good. I hate Shuhun for being so wishy-washy. He's selfish, I was hoping Yi Ping leave him and find herself a better man. I just love how this drama is so life related. Nowadays drama doesn't give these kind of feels anymore.

Agree. She doesn't have a good father figure growing up. Yet she got a bf as selfish as Shuhuan 😂 Dufei (or the Dufei post-character development) could've been a better match for her. Dufei is loyal, kind, laid back and funny. Both Yiping and Shuhuan are too intense for each other, and Shuhuan is a cheater.
Agree..I don't like Er Hao either. I always felt that Fang Yu was not suitable for him. Fang Yu was too good for him. Er Hao could not be a big brother to Yi Ping, he was only a big brother to Ruping. and as the son of a black panther - he is very weak, does not have a strong character. And du fei? he is always silly and many people laugh because of him. but I also don't like him, he only thinks about Ru Ping. Even during the incident at the Lu family's house where Yi Ping was pushed by his father and fell onto the coffee, Du Fei only cared about their photos which had become dirty because of the coffee.

What I don't like about Du Fei is that love Ru Ping too much. He accepted everything and always liked at Ru Ping in a positive light and never criticized her. Even though she did something that she shouldn't have done. Tell him to take her to Shu Huan at the Sui Yuan Battlefield to break Shu Huan's determination towards and forgot Yi Ping and told him to turn look at her stead. Du Fei couldn't refuse her. Du Fei didn't let Shu Huan read the diary to the end. Because it would make Shu Huan change his mind. That was the beginning of Shu Huan's wrong decision to become engaged to Ru Ping.
Yiping came not to show himself to Aunt Que but to take Su Huan back. If Yiping went home then she wouldn't get anything, that's why Yiping wanted to go to the bridge and she knew very well that Su Huan wouldn't stay still 👍

32:31-33:00 如萍總算露出真面目了，打著和平做朋友的旗號一直在書桓依萍旁打轉，就是為了等時機鑚空子，一點點滲透再擴大自己的面積。之前還敢自比方瑜，真是不要臉，方瑜那個三角關係和她完全不一樣
20年后重看琼瑶剧还是觉得很肉麻，但还是不由自主地看了几遍。这集是全剧高潮，太精彩了！赵薇神演技！
这里想说说主角的三角关系和为什么男主渣。（但喜欢古巨基的演绎。他深情时的眼神和举手投足有点像早期的梁朝伟。）
书桓和如萍是同类，“温情满人间”形。如萍是典型好女孩，温柔、善解人意。所以书桓起初也很暧昧，但没有展开追求就是还不爱。如果没有变数，在如萍的攻势和旁人的推波助澜下，二人应该会走在一起。书桓会爱上如萍吗？也许慢慢会，但没有激情。
可是依萍出现了。书桓和依萍也是同类，不服输、自尊心很强，吃软不吃硬。很明显书桓对依萍是一见钟情，而且她神秘、需要被保护、性格强烈、唱歌时风情万种，让他更爱上了。但经过几次依萍与家人的冲突，二人开始有了矛盾，因为书桓要“温情满人间”；不要找真相，不要引起风波，息事宁人。其实相互影响使彼此成为更好的人是对的。书桓想帮助依萍活得开心，以爱代替恨，也没有错。只是他太苛刻，而且没有受过辅导训练，忽视依萍痛苦的成长经历。即使依萍慢慢变得温和（把刺拔掉），书桓却没有改变自己的缺点或成长。这是他渣之一。
二人屡次争吵又和好、说分手又和好，日子久了，尽管有爱情迟早也会玩完的。所以书桓才会说出“我一直在做自不量力的事，也很累”、“依萍是一个很难相处的人”、“对依萍很难忍，对如萍很难狠” 这种辣耳朵的话。其实他一开始的假设就错了，他不了解这两姐妹。他认为依萍刚硬，如萍柔弱（其实这只是外表，内心其实相反）；所以对依萍苛刻，对如萍宽容（不拒绝）。越是这样，越陷入恶性循环，以至越来越觉得如萍好（加上亏欠，但不是爱），又开始搞暧昧了，甚至说出“我不是唯一一个对两个女人心动的男人“。后来又跟如萍说“无论跟谁在一起，在心里永远留一个角落给你“。这是他渣之二。
书桓火速跟如萍在一起，有赌气、想对依萍死心、骑虎难下、被如萍感动、退而求其次 各种原因。这是渣之三！
到了这个地步，如果没有安排日记，订婚和坠河事件，书桓和依萍还是彼此不服软、口是心非、彼此伤害，很难有好结果。最后，经过差点生离死别后，二人才把真心话说出来。书桓说“我都不怕你看见我的狼狈，你也不要怕让我看”。这才是真正爱的表现，不掩饰；修成正果了。
依萍面带微笑地祝福他们的时候，书桓就感觉到依萍在跟他做最后的道别，也做好彻底忘掉他的准备了。可是书桓根本不想让依萍忘掉自己，所以才追出去的。个人拙见

They think it's much better Yiping with Dufei happy ending. Everything will be so huge different if only Alec Su did not refuse to play role as He Shu huan in Romance in the rain that time. Chiung Yao as The writer and also the excutive producer of Hzgg & Kabut Cinta explain that it was so true, since the first place She offered the role character of He Shu Huan is for Alec Su you peng, and Not for Leo Ku. But due to personal reason, Alec Su prefer to choose as Du Fei as he wants to new experience. Same to zhao wei, she actually prefer to be Ru ping, but the producer did not allowed her to do so because "yiping's role need someone who is good in singing & strong emotional like her".

Agree. She doesn't have a good father figure growing up. Yet she got a bf as selfish as Shuhuan 😂 Dufei (or the Dufei post-character development) could've been a better match for her. Dufei is loyal, kind, laid back and funny. Both Yiping and Shuhuan are too intense for each other, and Shuhuan is a cheater.
She is the definition of true talent. Unbeatable many generations on.

And du fei? he is always silly and many people laugh because of him. but I also don't like him, he only thinks about Ru Ping. Even during the incident at the Lu family's house where Yi Ping was pushed by his father and fell onto the coffee, Du Fei only cared about their photos which had become dirty because of the coffee.
