46 year old, life long, die-hard, Bruins fan, from just over the Mass border in NH here..... Cam was and is my idol. Thanks boys! (Third time watching this interview)
It seems that Biz and Whit will ask legit, thought out questions and RA will chime in with "I ate 52 chicken mcnuggets once. What's your favorite sauce from McDonald's and how did that go ovah in the lockah room?"
You all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my account password. I love any tricks you can give me.
Huge Bruins fan here, but Boston (Jacobs) really kind fucked Neely and Bourque. They were absolutely good enough to compete with Edmonton and Pittsburgh. They just needed a few more pieces to put them over the top, pieces the Bruins would never get them.
I agree to an extent, but the B's drafting was awful too. They could've had Glenn Anderson, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri, Fuhr & Moog. Kevin Stevens should've been a Bruin. Sergi Zubov & Victor Kozlov just to name a few. Instead, they took players like Dave Morrison, Mike Bales & Cam Stewart. Also, I think grabbing Poulin & Propp for the 1990 run was a great effort to try & win it all. Don't forget they went out & grabbed Gonchar & Nylander for 04, but they blew a 3-1 series lead in the 1st round against the Toilet Seats. So, you can't put the blame on Jacob's not spending. He gave Lapointe a 20 million contract to Martin Lapointe in 03'!
Always disliked players that weren’t on my favourite team but they don’t make’m any better than Cam Neely. What a great all around RW. Could do pretty much everything
Cam and Shanahan are proving that former players know how to run an organization! The Bruins have been a powerhouse since cam took over his position and Shanahan has brought respectability back in Toronto. Shanny has to get on this podcast!
Well I'm a Bruins fan, because of Orr. So he's in his own category, but Bergy & Cam are my next followed by Raymond. To hear Brian Burke say. "I'm afraid of Cam Nelly! Everyone is! When he gets mad, he's one of the scariest individuals I ever met!" it's awesome to see him bring that same intensity that he had on the ice to the front office!
Saw Neely in a mall candy store and in the 90s with his lady. Before I recognized him, I was thinking wow this guy looks like a lumberjack...pretty hulking guy in street clothes...as soon as he turned around and I saw his banged up face that had that angry Sea Bass expression, I stayed the he'll away.
He was equally hated and respected around the league, like an adult sized Marchand.* Not suggesting they are/are not comparable. Just enjoy taking digs at Marchand.
I kept the Globe sportspage that covered Neely's retirement all these years. Still stings. Most people just recall the Samuelsson incident. I recall the degenerating hip. The Bruins' Cup in '11 was sweet. And Cam's a quality human.
I might have also, after the Almond Milk comment, got him to talk about the strength and conditioning of guys like Chara and more comment on the behaviors of players today v then.
And FWIW, your first question to EVERY former player should always be 'Let's start with how many chiclets have you spat out in the course of your career'?
You folks should do some distilled water in a larger jug with cucumber and lemon slices. Just pour glasses of water. Tastes better and doesn't use plastic :P
I heard apparently Neely fuckin hates Bucyk. Guy ik works at a Jos. A. Bank in Boston and Chief went in to get a suit, and he talked to my bud and said he n' Neely don't get along. this was around the time the NHL released the top 100 players in NHL History, apparently cam was pissed Chief made the list and he didn't. yikesss. SeaBass and Chief goin at it. Epic.
That's complete horseshit! If Neely didn't like anyone in the organization you can bet that Cam would have him removed! Also, you don't mention someone who you have a problem with & says. "John Bucyk who still works for us!". You just don't even mention their name. Neely even said himself that he didn't have the longevity to make the top 100! So, that's complete bullshit!
Why interrupt Neely's Cup story and the entire flow just to jump to silly 90210 story...ok, mabe at the end but not at that moment. Otherwise good interview, thanks.
So good interview, but mostly old ground. The question I would have asked is: "So when you and former teammate and GM Don Sweeney, trade the son of Ted Donato, another former teammate and friend who bleeds Black and gold, who do you call first, Ryan or Ted or ... just how does that work?"
I haven't even _seen_ Teddy in person since High School but I would be *shocked* if he did not teach his own son to act like a pro and be his own man,and Ted would expect the Bs to be professional. I've no doubt they called Ryan.
Whit and biz are great interviewers. Especially without having a ton of experience. The other guy (sorry don’t know his name) is just cringe worthy. Not only are his questions 50% stupid, but he talks like he’s a freakin auctioneer with a mouth full of marbles.
Charlie simmer was perhaps the slowest player in the league when he was with the bruins. I think he had a sign in his locker that read “0-60 in 15 minutes”
Cam, you should take the Bruins to go watch Boston Crusaders drum and Bugle corps practice. They will show your players some real dedication. drum corps practice 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
Eh, such a chip on the shoulder. Power forward. Good scorer but always had that great center. Over rated fighter. Got owned so many times. Too much of a chip. Fragile ego. Couldn’t win a cup on the ice, guess as an executive it’s next best thing.
46 year old, life long, die-hard, Bruins fan, from just over the Mass border in NH here..... Cam was and is my idol. Thanks boys! (Third time watching this interview)
Almost 46 from winnipeg...became bruins fan in 88 and neely has been my top dog since ....surpassing Wendel Clark! 2011 a great year
This is gotta be one of the best hockey shows i've ever seen in my life.... Great job! keep 'em coming
One of the biggest blunders the Canucks ever did was trade this amazing hockey player. Cam Neely changed the game of hockey.
Yep, thanks to that witless wonder Tom Watt, what a crap coach he was in Van.
That and Larionov
Why would they trade their home grown Vancouver kid
Remember though Vancouver stole a good player on Boston too name Loui Eriksson Ahahah
how did he "change the game"?
It seems that Biz and Whit will ask legit, thought out questions and RA will chime in with "I ate 52 chicken mcnuggets once. What's your favorite sauce from McDonald's and how did that go ovah in the lockah room?"

@Azariah Anders Instablaster ;)
RA asked perfectly fine questions…
Neely in the Barn with Bourque and Nifty is what I grew up on...WSBK 38. Best memories ever boys, from Thunder Bay Ontario.
I scrolled a bit but didn’t see “Kick his ass, Sea Bass.” Am I the only one? Prob not, but I am too lazy to scroll. That shit’s hard, man.
Love Cam Neely. But, why did you have him sit in a chair you found by a dumpster?
Lol
hahahaahhaaahhaah - awesome comment
Nice, Theo!
Gotta love Cam! he is one of my favorites.
"Did you know about the Boston Montreal rivalry when you came here?" Jesus son he's Canadian, we live HNIC from birth.
23 hours a day in that machine, wow, what a legend great player, and good dude
Cam Neeley= Hockey the was it should be played
Lil late to the show, but thanks for posting boys! A real treat to watch. That Bruins culture man, so fun to watch! BAM BAM CAM 😂

Yes you can easily blame ownership for not spending...holy fuck its plain as day
Always disliked players that weren’t on my favourite team but they don’t make’m any better than Cam Neely. What a great all around RW. Could do pretty much everything
The ultimate power forward..!!
Honest to god Biz's speech went form a 5th grader to a normal human all within a year or two. I know we bug him but low key proud as fuck
Nice to see you again Cam
Cam and Shanahan are proving that former players know how to run an organization! The Bruins have been a powerhouse since cam took over his position and Shanahan has brought respectability back in Toronto.
Shanny has to get on this podcast!
As a Leafs fan, I'd take a Neely for Shanny trade anyway.
Toronto just doesn't have needed depth in D and toughness.
"Now who's the DEAD man.. that hit me with the salt shaker!" - Sea Bass
Hahahah! Kick his ass Seabass!
Who just threw a salt shaker at me & signed their death warrant
Absolutely love RA’s intros and Biz and Whits reaction every time. It’s legendary. Keep it I up boys! Granelli keep being a beaut as well buddy!
Love the fact Neely grew up a bit in Bushell Park. More you know.
13:32 - The answer to defeating the Blues in Game 7
Awesome interview. “Tipppp of a buttcrack was allll i could see.”
“Make it 4 Boiler Makers”
Cam was the first dominant power forward. Just a beast
Well I'm a Bruins fan, because of Orr. So he's in his own category, but Bergy & Cam are my next followed by Raymond. To hear Brian Burke say. "I'm afraid of Cam Nelly! Everyone is! When he gets mad, he's one of the scariest individuals I ever met!" it's awesome to see him bring that same intensity that he had on the ice to the front office!
how can you ask Cam Neely "was there any players you just hated?" lol.
another great interview-keep it up!
Make it Four Boilermakers
Lol I was named after this guy.
Same here!
Me too
Saw Neely in a mall candy store and in the 90s with his lady. Wam Bam Cam
Finally!! The Neely sit down! FTW #8!!! Was my idol growing up!
Zed 80 still is my idol, below Brady of course.
Thee Great #8

8:40 The Bruins also drafted Ken Dryden which many fans forget. Oopsies there.
Bernie parent too
And FWIW, your first question to EVERY former player should always be 'Let's start with how many chiclets have you spat out in the course of your career'?
Let’s goooooo!
Hey it's my old friend.. and right on time
Where’s Ulf Samuelson?
I'm from Vancouver and growing up I always heard boomer dads go off about how the Canucks fucked up with him
Isn’t that just a rite of passage for canucks fans? Watching management completely fuck the team year over year?
Great episode.
Question for Cam: How many people call you Sea Bass instead of Cam
Who's Cam Neely? This guy's name is Seabass.
WHOS THE DEAD MAN WHO HIT ME WITH THE SALT SHAKER
dead man.......salt shaker
Sea Bass hahaha
I'm in a happy place
Awesome
Nexxt up, Cam Neely and the Rubbers
yesoooooooooonk
I'm a lurker too. Lol
You folks should do some distilled water in a larger jug with cucumber and lemon slices. Just pour glasses of water. Tastes better and doesn't use plastic :P
Unless i'm mistaken wasn't Mario the second fastest to 50?
mpuchar maybe 60
Wayne, Mario & Cam all scored 50 in 44.
I heard apparently Neely fuckin hates Bucyk. Guy ik works at a Jos. A. @@nitemare507 easy sweetheart
@@berniejpvids Quit telling bullshit storieds Bullshitter
@@nitemare507 watching you get this pissy is making me laugh so hard right now.
@@nitemare507 Cam Neely couldn’t remove Johnny Bucyk from the Bruins organization even if he wanted to. Bucyk is far beyond Neely.

I think a bear wiped its ass on the arm of that chair. Is this shot in a Super 8?
Kick his ass sea bass
"Seebass"

Dead Man, Salt Shaker.
Why does he remind me of Louis CK 😂
That’s one dirty chair. They get that at a yard sale ?
Sounds like Bret Hart.
Charlie Simmer was a bad ass on the Oakland Seals. Our only good player. lol
Was anyone a bad ass in those ugly ass jerseys?
Charlie simmer was perhaps the slowest player in the league when he was with the bruins. I think he had a sign in his locker that read “0-60 in 15 minutes”
First like no big deal
How disgusting is that chair Cam is sitting in.
Jesus RA, your a big fan of the guy but didn't think to shower and put on a clean shirt?
Live by the sword, die by the sword! Good clean hitting is fine. The rest is minor league stuff.
Cam, you should take the Bruins to go watch Boston Crusaders drum and Bugle corps practice. They will show your players some real dedication. drum corps practice 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
There's definitely room on that set for one more couch with Matt Cooke and Ulf on it!!
87KIDCROSBY Ulfie!
Yeah, Ulf is a legend.
Cam don't get it ? when they fight over a check ?
Because the fighters are trying to keep their jobs Cam.
Kind of boring tbh
Eh, such a chip on the shoulder. Power forward. Good scorer but always had that great center. Over rated fighter. Got owned so many times. Too much of a chip. Fragile ego. Couldn’t win a cup on the ice, guess as an executive it’s next best thing.
I hate when he hit Samuelsson with that knee, a dirty play by cam. Boring interview. Ulf is still going strong, not fat like this milkdud.
