I've worked through the main lessons of your alternate picking course. I loved it. My picking sounds so much better already and your RUclips videos inspire me in life as well, not just at guitar. I feel like I've made years of progress in a short amount of time, because I have. I've technically finished the month of focused work which I set out to do, so I could stop here, but I had plenty of days where I could have done much more, and I don't think I've done as much as I could have to get to mastery so I'm going to continue with Ingenium's exercise 5 for the next month. I still really struggle with the 13-10-12-13 movement on the B string. Often times my ring finger lags behind and I end up playing 13-10-13-13 instead. So I'm definitely going to get a lot better by focusing on it. One of my concerns, although it might be completely wrong is when you reach the speeds that your brain can't process. What do you do when you reach the speeds where you start doubting yourself? When you're playing a run of notes but aren't sure if they are actually in the right order or not, or if you are missing any or not, (or if you hit the 12 or not). If you could do a video on developing control of the ring finger, and explaining how your brain deals with knowing whether you've played the right thing or not at speed, that would really help me for the times over the next month when I start to get doubts about it.
