I don't set many goals because I don't like the pressure and I won't be disappointed on possible fails. Also it's a hobby for positive feelings. If something bother me I will stop it. I also don't like too much confetti heavy paintings (although I am German), but I noticed it is easier for me if I do big sections on them. Less color switching and good feeling on seeing gaps become smaller. Just keep going on and no worry about the goals. I am still impressed on your progress 🌼
That makes sense, it's a weird feeling for me. I like setting goals, but don't like not reaching them obviously. But I'm fine with it for now. That might be a good idea, I'll try that, thanks 😊 and thanks for watching as well ❤️
I recently threw out my first diamond painting. I kept the drills but tossed the canvas. It wasn’t bringing me joy. It was causing me pain (in my hands) because it was such a loose grid and nothing would line up. I was struggling non stop to make the drills align but they just drifted around in jagged lines. It was so frustrating and I realized this is not the way this hobby is supposed to go. So out it went! Buh bye 👋
I set myself goals but really it's just something to look forward to, I try not to think of them because I don0t want diamond painting to feel like a chore I haven't had yet a dp where I fel I couldn't or didn't want to finish, but if it came to that, I would follow my gut definitely
I'm short of quitting a canvas as well. It's a cheap 30x40cm cute Halloween theme from Amazon so it wouldn't hurt too much. I love the picture but the drills are a nightmare. I did several cheap kits but I have never seen so bad drills before 😩 Maybe I just put it away for now and when I have built up a decent stock of spares I will continue it with them 🤔 Or peel the bad ones off and start anew 🤷♀️
I don't think it's a fail to have life happen or to change your mind if something doesn't suit you or your available time. I enjoyed the video. Thanks!
As I said in the video, I used to never quit a painting, but now I'm like: if it doesn't bring you joy, toss it. So I'd say move on to a new one you will like better 😊 Thanks for watching ❤️
I quit too!!!!! 🤣🤣 Nee, niet echt maar toch een beetje😉 Verder dan een magneet of onderzetter geraak ik niet tegenwoordig, maar da's dan weer gemakkelijk om cadeau te geven met de feestdagen!

Good for you! Sometimes it has to be done even though we don't really want to 🙉

@@hayleyphillips4505 haha, lol! 🤣 I've been doing talking videos for over a year already 🤭 Thank you ❤️🥰

True, goals are a motivation to me, but I don't really mind too much if I don't reach a goal. That's great! Good call 😊 Thanks for watching! ❤️

Pff, that's terrible. If it is just a cheap one, I would just toss it. Better ways to spend your time 😁

That's true in some way, still feels like a fail to me if I don't reach my set goals 🙉 But it's fine, it's fiiiine 🤣 Thanks for watching ❤️
Thank you for sharing. I have one wip that is no longer making me happy. I may not finish it.

Too late 🤭🤣

Stiekem wel een beetje click bait haha.
Geen sorry voor de achtergrondgeluiden door je kids. Ik vind dat juist wel leuk!
