how did you wires the 2 switches and are they on the off or just on when your press and off when you press again need help iam trying to make one of these for my nux loop core as well
Kevys Rc & Music , hi if you scoll down in comments there is a link to my other video , in that video description is a link to a wiring diagram....basically you need 2 dpdt switches and a stereo jack......and a trs to trs lead...
Hi, the looper is advertised on some sites as true bypass. Do you know if that's true? Does bypass work while its turned off (no power)? That would at least rule out buffered bypass.
Exequiel Rodríguez , hi you will need 2x dpdt footswitches, a TRS 1/4" stereo jack socket. and a TRS to TRS cable.....the diagram is in the description...hope this helps,
Is the foootwitch is compatible with the Boss Fs6 or the Boss FS-5U?, I want to buy the Nux loop Core but here in Colombia it´s difficult to find Nux related products, I could only find the Loop core so if not I think I will have to buy the Boss Rc3 and spend the extra "pesos ($) " for a pedal that does the same
could this footswitch be used to scroll up and down the patches? I want to put backing organ sample chords in each patch to scroll through as the song progresses (shine on you crazy diamond) for my band. Many thanks and great demo! :)
hi yes you can (with the footswitch) you would pre -record all your loops, and make a note of which number loop is which. ....i do this on this demo. from 11:15. hope this helps. ruclips.net/video/PA9rgagb3dg/видео.html
tip: record a loop, and copy tat loop to all other patch numbers, to maintain the same 'tempo' then wipe then re-record the audio on each copied loop.....then they will all be the same tempo ok. cheers .
Right. I have the loop core deluxe, which came with a dual switch. When you plug in it seems to want to just go up/down presets when first plugged not properly tried it yet though
@@Millennial_Mike did you fix this? I also have the deluxe version, and the footswitch connected in position A-B only allows to go up loops (B) and go down loops (A). I would love to have button B to control loop number (one click up and 2 clicks down) while button A works for stopping and setting tempo
I know you said you'd put the link somewhere but can you help me out with which pedal you bought to go along side the loop pedal. I want to use your wiring diagram but want to make sure I buy the right pedal to do it with. Thanks.
So does this function the same way an RC3 does when it's connected to a footswitch? ie, you can more or less control everything through the foot switch?
Hi.... I am probably overlooking something simple but I cannot get a "seamless" loop with the Loop Core. I record a loop and hit the button for play back but after the loop is over that I recorded there is a pause. Eventually it starts playing the recording but then stops again after the phrase is over. Would appreciate any tips to get my loops to play continuously. PS- I am new to looping. Thanks
hi , there are 2 ways to record a loop....where it says "stop modes" this doubles as record modes too....before recording press this button twice , mode 1 is AR (auto record) ...meaning the red led will flash and will wait for you to play, and instantly record without pressing the footswitch.....mode 2 is NR which will start recording only when you press the footswitch.....in either mode as soon as you press the footswitch again it will loop.....hope this helps.
part 2. stop modes. the stop modes button gives various types of ending to your loops...once recorded....mode 1 ST instantly stops when foorswitch is pressed....mode 2 FN will play the loop to the end and stop when footswitch is pressed...even halfway through...mode 3 FA will fade out the loop when footswitch is pressed.....mode 2 is probably causing your issue.... :)
+Everett Teague I don't think its a stop mode issue but probably down to your own timing, I had the same problem when I started using a looper. Try running through the phrase three times; the first not recording then on the second time around press record, , then when you press stop at the end of the phrase keep playing the start of the phrase, that will help nail the loop start and end.
hey - i was looking at looper stuff on ebay and i ended up here ... i just got a mooer coean machine and while its flawed i am evjoying playing around with it . ther eis a volume drop on the looped when you engage the half speed which is a bummer but ... looking at maybe getting a looper ... something that DOESNT have these type of annoying issues prolly does not exsist or is way out of my price point .
hi petey, loopers are great, even the cheap 25-30 dollar ones are cool too....with overdubbing etc...but most cheapos will only record for 10 minutes...which is plenty realyy, and will not store loops either...my mate has a cheap 25-30, and hes very happy with it, search for the rowin, amoon etc.....
Can you use aux cord, to save backing tracks from youtube, with ur phone? . So save the backing track to nux, the play the guitar parts while backing track plays?
Danilo Cardia , hi it has a few options for playback, loop, or dead stop at the end of the loop, or it can fade out....the loop has to be saved first to do that....
I went the lazy route on the external switch and bought one from SaturnWorks :-) Wish we could SAVE loops with our feet.... that's really the only shortcoming of this device in my eyes.
+ambiguationdotnet it can be done, they are tiny tactile momentary switches, which could be replaced with momentary footswitches, but obviously the whole thing would have to be rehoused, but ALL switches could be used....might be a cool project in future...
hi, if you look in the desription of this video, i have put a link to a wiring diagram of how i built mine ok. ruclips.net/video/PA9rgagb3dg/видео.html
It would be cool to use the external switch to switch up and down through memory banks, enabling the possibility of switching between intro , verse chorus 😀👍 wonder if this is possible
hi yes this is possible....you have to pre record all 3, intro, verse, end..... the trick with this is to get the same tempo on each memory...........i have done this. heres how, record your first loop with chosen tempo....save to say number 1....then save this number 1 loop to loop to 2 more memories 2 and 3....then wipe the audio from the 2 and 3 and you will have the exact same tempo on all 3....then record on all 3...hope this helps.
DEADASTRONAUTFX cool thanks for the info, it certainly is a Swiss Army knife solution , a great songwriting notebook, thanks for your input, I am sure it will aid in my final purchase. Have a great weekend
Nice Vid! :) one question: Can you recorded two loops separately and play it at same time? For example: I recorded a Bass loop first. Then, I recorded a guitar solo in a different loop (not Overlapping). Can I play the bass loop and the guitar solo loop at same time?
+LightHouseShow hi, no , but here is what i do, i record a loop, then copy that loop to another number , then delete the audio on the copy this way you have the same tempo of both loops....and can switch seamlessly between both loops....hope this helps ya.
Thanks for answering. if possible, can you make a video showing even a short performance like this.Because sometimes, you want to stop the drum or the bass only in the middle of a song and then insert them again separately. This is possible with BOSS RC 500. but i cannot afford that.
+LightHouseShow hi, likd i said you could do this by copying the initial loop, lets say 3 times, loop1 with drums bass, loop 2 copy, remove drums, loop 3 copy remove bass....so as long as you copy you can remove or add to each copy, then swjtch between....obviously they would have to be prerecorded though....but you can still overdub on each copy too and save each loop....cheers

@@jaco1329 no problem, checkout the amoon ap-09, very cheap.
That is unreal, I've just bought a nux loop core and that footswitch would be very handy, what brand is the switch please mate, killer video
Hi man. I built the switch box myself. There should be a link to a diagram in the description of this or my other video...cheers
Thanks mate, I got the circuitry plans, but could you recommend a actual pedal to purchase that would be good to do the build with
@@craigpons7153 . Hi sorry. You mean what box to get to build it with?...or a completed build?..
What box is best to build it with, I've been trying to decifer what the box is your using in the video but can't get the clarity in screenshots to identify it, is any two switch footswitch OK, or is there at better one you can recommend for the build
@@craigpons7153 hi the box i used is a hammong 1590b style.....the switches are DPDT footswitches.... you will need a stereo jack, and a stereo to stereo 1'4'' lead.....
list of parts:
1x 1590b style enclosure
2 x dpdt footswitches
2x 1/4' mono jack sockets
1x stereo 1'4'' jack socket
and of course the stereo to stereo 1/4'' cable....
hope this helps. rob .
