Tbh swords aren’t kid friendly either,I would rather my kid learn about shooting people than brutal sword combat tbh. They should have some guns in the game but only go to like 1800’s so it doesn’t mess with the balance too bad

Shalz create alloyed guns CAN infact be made in survival, the kits spawn in pillager outposts mansions ect. however they yet can not be automated, to avoid future mistakes I would suggest using mod called "Just enouch reasorces" it can show you structure generated loot and mob drops which can help substantionaly with this like these gun kits

When i installed a create gun mod, i used the shotgun in creative and found something really cool! Since the shotgun in the mod has a lot of recoil, you can use this not only as a weapon but also as a funny way of using the powerful recoil as a parkour technique.
I find it interesting that someone actually made a gun mod for create also the other gun kits are from pillager types not sure if they are common or not but I watched another video about this mod and the gun kits above crude are from pillager drops

Idea: make a platform with a train track and a train driving on it, and put that platform on a train. Try to repeat this as many times as possible (if what I described is even possible).
it's funny that shalz was ecstatic to find out you can automate creation of revolvers over flintlocks. flintlocks were from an era where they were all basically hand crafted, revolvers was during the transitional period into the industrial revolution so they started as boutique weapons but then they were mass produced en masse
I hate to break up the party, but you don't need to automate guns, cause they have no durability. You do need to automate the bullets though. So a weapons factory is not out of the question.
I highly recommend checking out Create: Armory. I hate create alloyed guns for 3 reasons: Its just a reskin of mr crayfish gun mod It requires structure items(seriosuly annoying to find) and isn't automatable Bullet recipies are too repetitive and are alot of brass for no reason Meanwhile Create: Armory Not a reskin Automatable Much more fun
I honestly like the little detail of how weapons can't be 100% automated, because it is physically impossible for real-world guns to be manufactured 100% artificially. They have too many pins, too many springs, and too many fiddly bits. You need a pair of trained hands to take all the parts and put them together.
With Valkryian skies and Clockwork you can make planes, aircraft carriers & if you combine it with Create: big cannons you can make gunships. We'll soon have the ability to wage combined arms warfare supported by automation and supply lines in minecraft. This could be the basis for a very fun type of multiplayer minigame or event
this vid motivated me to make a modpack and get back into minecraft mods, you may feel this is just a nice video of yours, but for me its my ticket back into modding like i used to do before minecraft stopped working at more than 30 fps
I do really love people making addons for create n'all but for the love of god, make them work with deployers and make them able to be automatically crafted with create, otherwise its just a gun mod that has the word "create" on it. Also did you try putting the deployers on attack mode? Probably wont work (Idk)
Immersive Engineering also has a (in the words of RoanokeGaming) "Force Multiplier" and multiple types of (in the words of RoanokeGaming) "Freedom Pellets"

The musket production is probably not automatable because they came before a time of mass production and large scale industrialisation where they had to be crafted in workshops by hand.
The Basic, Advanced, and Complex ones may not be craftable but they can be found in the world. Though if you really want them to be craftable you'd have to use kubejs or something similar to create a crafting recipe.

As someone who works in metal fabrication, I can attest that the steps required to make these parts is accurate to real life.

You can fix a lot of this yourself using the CreateTweaker mod.
It's far from ideal, but at least you can play before a more official patch is made.
The other gun kits are found in structures since the guns are pretty op for Minecraft standards. There should definitely be a recipe for them though.
