They were just coming like it was automatic. They work so well together, like they were in a banned. Really schooled us on puns. I'm sorry for that last one. Really hit like a semi.
Was a little disarmed by how rapid fire those puns were. They aimed high by increasing their range and, while not every pun was a bullseye, they certainly stayed on target.
It's really quite the art-illery. I don't know how-itzer they do it, but the humour of the group is the mortar that keeps this show together, so they don't go off the rail-gun. So they don't go ballistic, you might say.
They really did flint-lock in with those! Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm more impressed at their speed or caliber. Do you think they had a stock of those saved up? Cuz they were so fast I'm half sure they were at least semi-automatic!
Major props to Geoff for selflessly stepping back towards the end, not because he couldn’t contribute equally (he so could have), he just saw how much fun Jess and Ross were having. 😂
Jess steamrolled Geoff in this episode over and over again. Glad he took it in stride, because I do think it was the right call vs both pushing for the spotlight
@@WilliamWeatherholtz I think that institutional bias is a concern, whether seniority in the genre or racist bias, historical hierarchy. There's a difficulty separating the two. Jess mccenna had an energy and creativity that is always so fun. A brought to life Saturday morning cartoon character 😂. Great job by all overall... Suspense was killer.
Man, Geoff's off-screen "ooooo" to "can I take a second" is the dark horse pick for best moment of the entire prompt. It's the delay, how Jess was already into the next one🤣🤣
I really thought I would come to the comments to make this unique reference that surely no one else thought of and I was beaten to it, I salute y'all 😅

Fun fact: "Glock" and "Clock" are in origin the same word, meaning "Bell". It retains the same meaning in German, where it is also a surname (the gun manufacturer is named after its founder), and in English it came to refer to a timepiece with bells, and then to timepieces in general.
I feel like they had a couple more puns left in the stock, but so many came barreling toward us that a few jokes weren’t able to cross their scope of mind. Maybe they could’ve extended the round, but with the goal of 21 puns it makes sense why they had to suppressor. Mag-nabbit, there was so much potential to shoot for!
Let's all take stock of what they just did here. It was a barrel of laughs. I mean, the scope of those puns. That takes a lot of brass. I'm glad they weren't lead astray. That would have been a real ride on the blunder bus. But they kept the end in sight. Looks like Sam got caught in the crosshairs. I hope none of them get fired.
Should have had a drum mag roll before starting. It would've been a good primer and lessened the recoil from suddenly shooting from the hip with those high-caliber puns.
These puns were shot out as if they were already armed and loaded. They seemed very cocksure of themselves as they aimed down the barrel of pun-making.
"More like 21 gun salute" must be too clever for me, because Sam clearly got it. Does anyone have any idea what that one was about, like at all? I'm so curious.
“And I did THREE!”
Great job, Geoff, that’s 4 more than I could do
I’d love to hear a pun worth -1, tbh
@@CarbonatedCondensation Eh, some jokes are very gunpowd, but mine are even gunpowder!
There ya go, your -1 pun
@@SpammingY Damn 😂
@@SpammingY no, that was fantastic 😂
@@SpammingYnah I liked it!
"16 in the clip" is genius!
I didn't even get that one, assumed a rap reference?
@@TheDSasterX Um actually, it is a reference to a gun's cartride being called a clip and holding 16 bullets

Take Make Some Noise to the Punitentiary.
For Punishment.
As YoungThug said…“He Cold”
Damn. This video has so many puns you could start a magazine
It was an absolutely loaded segment.
It was an absolutely loaded segment.

Hard to finds puns of this caliber anymore.
They really seemed locked and loaded for this episode.

I'm sorry for that last one. Really hit like a semi.
I will never not love Jess on this show. Everyone is great but there's a certain energy she brings that just gets me
It's the horniness
@@misimik Not all of us are straight dudes but thanks for playing.
@@WWFanatic0 uhhh I think misimik was talking about the fact that jess called herself "canonically horny" multiple times in this ep lol
Man, what a trio of improvisers worth their SALT! I’m surprised they didn’t PETER out after the first 10
...fuck. This is pretty good.
You've clearly been blessed with the powder to make gun puns.
Do you have more, or was this one just a flash in the pan?
@@mothichorror446 I mean, I had my shot, I want other people to show me theirs
I know, right? I figured after like, seven, they'd be at a Ross!
So many shots fired, they better call pun control!

A *round* of applause to you all
Only one? This baby can hold, like, 20 rounds.
The My American Cousin drop was INCREDIBLE.
Sam's increasing level of sheer dumbfounded joy as the bit goes on :D so glad this didn't get cut down
These puns are well aimed and armed 😂

Deferral is a problem in unequal excess and when tacitly expected. But nobody wants a mexican standoff either.

I'm so impressed by their range!
The American Cousin pun was so good

“Shoot”
I was really hoping for a magazine pun, but I guess it got *clipped* out
"Well, isn't this just Garand: I can't find Colt anywhere! So much for a Peacekeeper."
That amount of range there, well done
They were really firing
I want to make a Hamilton reference but then I’d have to count how many puns each contestant did and that’s too much work.

This kind of performance really works best in video form; you wouldn't get the same energy in a newspaper or *magazine*
This makes a great case for pun control
That...round... was a hit.
Well, this was great. I might've had a low morning, but now I'm having a *high noon!*
Man, I haven't heard so may hits in a while.
One. Twenty-one puns! Laid down by three- comedians
Now that was some high caliber comedy.
By definition, a handful of those are not puns, but those that were, hit the mark.
Eh
That was a great carbined effort.
