This song is about their forbidden love. The original band of this song, tatu, is a Russian band, and in Russia LGBTQ+ people have a lot less rights than people in the US. This song was made to rebel against that stigma, which it definitely did. It's still seen as wildly controversial in Russia, but this song still means a lot to LGBTQ+ people who live there.
