Turning Brass Artillery Shells into Art | Lviv, Ukraine

Driven by the demand for war relics and trench art in our community, we sought artisans in Ukraine capable of crafting something extraordinary for our 2nd anniversary. Our dedicated partners at the Ukrainian World Congress introduced to Klamra, a small business in Ukraine that specializes in brass casting. Impressed by their ingenuity and work ethic, we worked together to develop these unique art pieces and accessories cast from brass artillery shells used to liberate Ukrainian territories.

I see your point but those are used shells. The explosion of the shell destroys the crystal structure of the metal making to brittle to reuse them and forgein objects make the recycling into proper artillery shells pretty hard so using them to get money for Ukraine might be the better option.
