as someone who started 3 weeks ago and already have 46 funkos 😂 i’m glad i picked up on these things because i had no idea what some of these stickers meant. the con exclusives and shared store exclusive stickers is what confused me but i saw that one was expensive while the other was not. i thought glows that didn’t have the chase sticker were also gitd chases without the sticker, but the ones that get released glow without a chase sticker means that it’s a common and not a 1/6 chance to get a chase. which means your glow common is not expensive and your glow chases are, but it also depends of the franchise. i also found out that special edition stickers are just international stickers, i got one thinking it was a funko exclusive lmao.
@mitch123488 you are absolutely spot on. Now remember some chases are not that valuable. It's all about rarity and desire. Even some rare pieces are not very expensive. Always check hobbydb.com for current values.

Hard core collectors do prefer stickers but if this is for your collection and you don't plan on selling it, I wouldn't worry about it. Exclusives (your specialty sticker) are sometimes different molds and definitely different colors etc compared to the common versions, so real collectors know an exclusive without the stickers. I wouldn't worry about a refund unless it's something that really bothers you

ok so i cant get my hands on the fye-glow chase dr doom funko so i bought the special edition-glow chase dr doom funko,, theyre both the same the only diff is one has the FYE sticker and one has the SPECIAL EDITION sticker. And i was wondering if you'd know there would be a difference in their rarity and pricing in the future if i plan to sell them? idk if the stock for the special edition version is the same as the US fye one.
No there is no really a difference. Special edition just means it came from outside the USA. But poppriceguide.com does show the value difference on alot of pops with these stickers. And most folks WILL prefer the actual store sticker over the special edition. BUT I have sold many special editions for normal value in the past.

No. They are not see thru at all. But you should be able to look behind them and see if they were swapped for another sticker. Older sticker leaves a residue outline behind the new sticker if looking thru the pop window.

Yes they are good. Chalice collectibles is very well known and reputabale and they even have a tamper preventing sticker. Try and peeled it off it will get destroyed.
Maybe you'll be able to answer this, there's a new pop coming out. Madara six paths and there is a GameStop exclusive glow version. Somehow supposedly these are already being sold online but it's with a Funko exclusive sticker on them. No GameStop sticker anywhere, these have got to be fake painted pops right? I mean I got a regular one from Target before they were even supposed to hit the shelves so Early Access somehow wouldn't surprise me but I get the feeling that these aren't authentic glow.
Well... the NEW special edition sticker (international) has Changed to the Funko Exclusive sticker. So now there is no longer a "special edition" sticker. There are 2 Funko stickers now. The "Funko Exclusive" which replaced the special edition one. And the Funko Shop sticker. So I would imagine the sticker you are seeing is the New Special Edition. It usually takes a while for any fakes to appear, so new pops are usually not faked right away. And fakes usually come with pops that go up in value fast. Or retain a higher value. So if it's a new pop I wouldn't imagine it's a fake. But more of a international released "Funko Exclusive"
I don't know much about these but I got a chance to get a Deadpool 801 blacklight special edition for 35$ or should I wait to until I find the target 🎯 version? is one more valuable than the other.i know you said the special Edition means it was sold overseas but is one more valuable than the other....I see both are sold out besides re seller's and just started collecting them.not really getting it for the money or to resell it but I would like to know if I should pay more for one than the other.trying to not get ripped off.i got the blacklight spiderman a while back when it first came out.and it went up in price by alot.anyways great video still counfused tho....lol I love the glow in the dark and blacklight one's they looks so awesome.a response would be much appreciated....these things are getting addictive 😋

@@alexornelas9307 gotcha! Those came from the Amazon Marvel Corps Subscription boxes. They release diffrent ones thru amazon. I am not sure if they still do those boxes or not. They were little mystery boxes with 3-4 diffrent exclusive pops randomly in the boxes.
Wish I had know this 3 Yrs ago back in 2018 when I order my Stan Lee from what I thought was Repitable dealer only to find out it was faked and no Sticker on it and was suppose to be a convention piece still own the fake but still piss off about it waste money and time

What's the difference between Chalice Collection & Special Edition Funko Pop Luffy Gear 4?
Special edition simply means that one was released over seas. Internationally. The one with a actual chalice sticker was released in the US.
Why do some funko boxes have the word funko on the box top and other themed funko boxes don't???? Is it fake.
No. The older ones do not have funko on them. Funko added this last year. Newer pops have the funko logo now.

That it's exclusive to triple A and only sold there
What does specialty series mean?
Those are exclusive only to Smaller Retail stores, comic book stores etc

Special Edition have the same value as a store edition. BUT people will generally pay more for the actual store sticker. $35 Is not bad at all.
