You are so right about the bones.
My dog chip his tooth on a pork bone.
The only bones my dogs get are poultry bones or rabbit Bones ,rib bones of goat, sheep and deer. Only the rib bones. They love it. I aim for a rib bone or two for their calicum needs and then deer or beef muscle meet, eggs and live and kidney. As well as chicken feet.
    Sardines once a week.
Raw goat milk every so often.
Then viggies and fruit as treats.

HI! I would like to thank you so much for this content! I live in Poland 🇵🇱 and I was searching a lot for some specific information and there was a lots of conflicting information about BARF and RAW feeding😰. Especially when it comes to feeding puppies when I was trying to calculate daily Portion it was so small, 300g of meat per day + bones and organs, and there was information that too much liver is danger for dogs and You should feed with liver max 3 times per week 😟. For me it was really disturbing and I was searching a lot and every BARF calculator comes with the same size. My puppy is 3 months old german shepherd and he is very active and it was definitely to little for him. He was always hungry. THAN I GLADLY FOUNDED YOUR CHANNEL and everything became so clear even for me from foreign country 😃 i love it so much! You are so kind to share this with us! trustworthy is subjective, I think “Give your dog a bone" by Dr Ian Billinghurst is a great read. I just finished the DNM pro raw dog food course and can tell you most blog posts and videos are spot on on how you should be feeding your dog. Keep in mind nutritional values of all the minerals / vitamins / micro+macro nutrients vary depending on each animal (cow to cow, chicken to chicken), on season, on feed, etc, so you can never measure those precisely.

Turned out, my dog wasn't allergic to chicken at all.. was just the traces of corn & other grains that stay within the meats if that's what the animals are raised on..

I've used ground beef for my dog and he's been fine with it. Just don't leave it out for a long time or let it get warm.

I got my cats to eat raw my first feeding them twice a day kibble. Then I started transitioning them until they were eating twice a day canned. Then I started mixing the raw with the canned. Eventually just raw twice a day. Took a couple months.

If you want to feed Raw and it's too overwhelming just buy a good premade raw food. Then if you want to make it yourself you can slowly do that. You don't have to get super technical. 80% muscle meat 10% bone and 10% see creed in Oregon meat. Depending on the model you follow you can do 10 to 20% of fruits and veggies also.

You should just never feed your dog, canned meat, or meat with added salt. PERIOD! There is MORE then enough sodium, naturally in food for dogs. These suggestions are silly, and misleading. You shouldn't check for the can with less sodium, JUST DONT GIVE YOUR DOG CANNED MEAT! That defeats the purpose of real, fresh food! Canned food, is on the shelf, just as long as commercial dog food. If your feeding canned food, you might as well just give them commercial dog food!

If you want to feed your dog raw meat never ever buy feed raw meat from the butchers or supermarket there are companies that supply raw frozen meat for dogs that have been frozen to the correct temperature to kill salmonella and other harmful bacteria., that could make your dog very ill .this person is giving out very dangerous information and should do some more study on the subject.

Interesting?? Even if you freeze it or are you saying it's bad in general how do you know this just curious?? My local butcher sells meat specifically for dogs like a mix should I not use this ????
