- “It could happen to anyone!” Ice Road Trucking! Welcome back everyone! In this video we wrap up our final night of racing at Vado Speedway. We quickly began our journey home where we would be met with one of our most challenging trips home. The ice on the roads caused Chavus and Chase to be very cautious and extended their time away from home. Thank you for watching!

Michael seems like a stand up dude. I bet it was nice having a second set of hands. I hope folks who live in the Southeast are listening to what Michael said about Mods and USMTS level guys. These are open motor big time race cars. Not the ones that can’t go a lap without a caution and are your time to grab a concession. Chase may as well be running a Lucas Late Model series car bc this is the same level of competition. Keep grinding Chase.
Some words of wisdom from someone who's done lots of driving... never leave early to beat weather.... that's how you get caught in it. It's always a better choice to stay a day longer and come through once roads are cleared. Live and learn
So glad you guys made it home safe
I'm a trucker..run into that crap all the time..people don't understand what we go thru..glad yall made it safe
Very good 4 out 5 can't complain about that every time. Look better and better every time on track
Keep Chasing Your Dreams!!! Don't let anyone tell you can't!!!
Chase looks like he is ready to cry everytime he gets out of the car... Be thankful, your blessed!
that apex fella is positive energy, keep him around 🏁👍
I’m very proud of the performance you all had at Vado! Chase drove very well and you all learned a lot!
Chase is a wheel man he's got just as much chance as any one else go chase always on your team
Chase Holland is gonna do BIG BIG things!!! Just stay tuned and all the nay sayers KNOW it as well or they wouldn’t be subscribed and watching over and over to try to find some negative to bring down someone/something they are envious of!!! This young man is fricken 20!!! 20 years old it’s mind blowing at his maturity and intelligence the kid can build tear down and rebuild any race car he has an amazing family and push from LOTS of people, important people.. that most don’t have the mental capacity to even understand !!! I swear he is a RACE CAR DRIVER!!! Please don’t let keyboard warriors get you discouraged Chase you know who you been racing against and the level of experience most haven’t a clue and tbh if you want to get brutally honest not one that you have lined up beside can wheel like you period!!! So keep GOD first and foremost and congrats on your accomplishments already!! And ggiiiiiittttt iiitt!!!!! You have an awesome wing man Mikey got your back fr… good luck and I -75 is my home track and it will stretch a motor for sure!! Can’t wait to see you here!!!!
With that many cars and talented drivers there, making the A main 4 out of 5 nights and moving forward in each is a very good week. Hopefully u realize it and proud of urself as much as all ur fans are for you. Glad y'all made it back safely.
If you want to be the best, you have to race the best!
Chase, Give yourself a breather. You are learning to race outside of the small pond! You are now running in the big pond! You are young and learning! You will hear from the detractors "people who think they know more than you!" Ignore them! Been following the channel for 2 years now, from Colorado! Keep fighting and believing in yourself!
Glad y'all made it home. Can't wait til the next video
Lets just put this in perspective Kenny wallace raced at the highest level and doesnt come out here and win every night. My Guy Chase has got to understand he can make a ton of people happy and keep growing this thing without winning all the time. if i had a channel like this and was in as many race tracks all over this country i would work my tail off trying to grow the social media side because that will pay the bills ,bring more sponsors and thats what keeps a race team going. not winning a 2,000$ A feature check. There has got to be a spot on that car for Chase Holland youtube. The Fans that watch and buy tickets to these races and watch these RUclips videos along with buying all the Merch pay the bills. i get it you want to win but thats not the most important thing. Just keep that fight and it will come.
I grew up in Las Cruces NM ‘58to’74 not far from Vado. I went from the baby bottle to Hatch Chile. I live on the east coast now and go into DTs for green chile. I’ve had ice tea with green chile no lie. Ranch Dressing with green chile….yellow mustard with green chile…Green Chile Stew made with pork shoulder and potatoes is to die for..A hamburger with green chile is the bomb! The town I grew up in is where Pat Garrett was murdered and buried. I’m 67 and sure miss that part of the country! I enjoy your channel!
Congratulations! You did a fantastic job racing your way to four main events. Glad you all made it home safe.
THANKS FER COMMING DOWN. ENJOYED SEEING YALL. COME BACK SOON. YEEEEEEEEEE DOGGIEEEEEEEEEEEE
Chase and the crew are a young bunch of racing great people good luck in 24
4 out 5 A-mains Congratulations Chase Holland Racing!!.. I really appreciate you sharing your journey with us and can't wait for some more of it! 😊
Not a fun trip in a truck in that kind of weather!!!! did it for 35 years! glad y'all made it safe, Keep Digging!
Glad you guys all made it home safe
Glad y’all made it home safely. Great racing by the way..
Just wanted to say hi AS A REAL ICE ROAD TRUCKER IN ALASKA
Well you all got home safely, made most of the shows and everything is good. Good job.
I think you all did a good job this week. Michael was awesome just to come and help. Glad you made it home safely. Go fast &turn left
I live in Ohio and I hate driving in that stuff. Thank God you all made back home alright. I really enjoyed the Video and tell Chase to keep his head up. He is still a young man and living his dream and with experience he will get better.
I been stuck driving in that kind of weather many times. It dies make it a stressful drive. Glad you made home safe. Great job making into the A main 4 out of 5 nights. Thats was some of the toughest competition you have raced with most likely. I am Proud of CHR!
Glad you guys made it home safe. It's rough in the south with snowstorms Chasted excellent job
Please be careful during the storm love you guys
Chase as a young driver don't sweat having to go to a B-main. At big shows and tracks you have never been to it gives you more seat time and a better feel for the set up. It sucks don't get me wrong but I have seen young guys transfer straight into an A and then just fall backwards because the track changed and they missed it. Even happens to veteran drivers. It happens. It will all work out don't get down just focus on what changes need to be made and what driving changes need be done to improve. Keep it up hope to see you at Adams County speedway in Quincy,Il this summer.
Yeah I'm a Mississippi Boy home bread myself very good job on the race track the old man got a little nervous but very good job Chase
Glad you guys made it home safe and sound. That type of travelling takes a lot out of you
Awesome work. We call him the Dimond cutter so awesome
Micky we are gonna have a nice talk on the drive home had me laughing hard you guys had a great weekend be very proud of urselfs as a team
I’m super glad y’all was okay!
I thought you did a fantastic run Chase. Be watching for the next one.
It looked like that car just snapped around nearly on the start of that heat race. Like it just broke loose when it shouldn’t have. He’s hit it just as hard several times and it didn’t break loose like that again. I thought I seen the car jump and snap sideways like what chase is saying just by what i could see of the car. Hang in there Chase and keep your head up. This is one of my favorite racing channels if not my favorite. I enjoy watching your journeys and you growing up and becoming the race car wheelman we all know you’ll be in the future because we see the wheelman you are now. Seat time and experience can’t be replaced and it’s your time to get that time in learn and gain experience. Best of wishes from North Georgia young man. Chavis you should be proud you’ve raised a heck of a young man and your passion for what he’s doing shows through your support 😊
I’d like to know the name of that store that told you that again for sure. BK?
The one thing that impresses me the most about Chase is his willingness to get his hands dirty and work on his equipment himself. That skill set will pay off in the long run. Thanks for blessing us with your appearance at the WWS this year, it was great to keep tabs with your content as well see Team Holland in person. Good luck this year!
So glad ya'll made it home safe
Be safe great people, you looked awesome
Look at that, chase finishing up front.
Chavis everyone should admire your work standing in the infield going in circles with the camera isn't easy. Great footage I really think Chase is going to have a great 2024 he definitely needs more forward bite coming off the corners. Stay Safe guys.🏁🇺🇸🏁👍
At some point in the feature, I was thinking ... the camera Man has to be getting dizzy by now.
Great camera work & footage Chavis!!
Did an awesome lot of good cars there nothing to be ashamed about really appreciate you putting these videos on here y'all have a good one be safe
You cats need to come experience this -5° weather in Colorado. We drive in this weather all the time.
I'm glad you made it home safely. I hope the weather cooperates and we get to meet you all at I-75 in a few days. Thank you all for taking us along on your journey. God bless.
To God be the Glory.. So glad y'all made it home safe. Thank you for allowing us to ride along from the start, Lord Bless.
Wow ,not enough excitement racing, You guys start your own TV series, ice road trucking.Best move pull over. Let it pass.
Glad you made it home safely. Did you have to throw out a pair of underdrawers Chavus? Dr Georges sure seems like a mighty nice fella..take care ya'll
I just came through there Monday and yes it was terrible glad y'all made it home safe. Wish I could have caught up with y'all
Those are really good road conditions every day in the winter in South Dakota.
By far the best I have seen him run the car looked good that's a tuff filed of cars awesome job just keep on with the keeping on just race its going to be all good
It’s been snowing here we are very used to the cold hahah
Heck of a week great job .
I don’t know much about modifieds but here’s what i see. Everyone in the feature looks like most of their weight is on the right front. Im not sure if that’s just their body but that’s what it looks like. Also in other videos I notice that Chase looked like he was blowing the right rear off from center off. Yet again I don’t know much about modifieds but that’s just what I see. In karting i know that through the corner it goes left front gets you in then left rear, right front, and coming off right rear. Keep up the good work! Time and experience will do it’s thing!
Weather is a pain. I'm about an hour on the the other side of The Kid Drakes home track and it's been nasty here these last few weeks, glad you all made it safely
Thank u god that u all made it home safely. I said several prayers for all of u.
LOL. All of us who live or live in the north drive this weather every winter. I think the gas station policy makes sense if the weather is good, but because they do not get this weather often, people a. don't know how to drive it, and B. Stations do to realize that sometimes it is just being a good person and place in a storm. Best case that I found in that situation is talk to the 18 wheelers they will let you know what to do and where to go.
Great racing 💪💪
All part of the racing experience dealing with it all snow included 2 or 3 years in a row we had to wait for it to stop snowing so we could run first race of season
Chase made it look easy & effortless before the feature. Car was setting up good & got a good bite on the track. In the feature something changed ... track may have dried out or the car & driver got tired ... good effort though ... just keep digging. Was taking good care of the equipment though ... thats very important.
So glad you all made it home safe.
Driving a truck on ice & snow use to be like a challenge to me, now its the least favorite part of driving because of the other 4-wheelers & truck drivers on the road. I still know I can handle my equipment, but its the other driver that concerns me. I guess its just part of getting older & seeing more crazy & risky stuff happen.
Relax baby your to tensed just race and make it fun
Well, you were about 60 miles from my house, in Tyler. I hate that you got cought up in that mess. Sounds like we may have another round of that Sunday night.

thank the big man you all are ok its -40 below in nebraska n 30 mph wind
😅 wow Travis you need to get some Valium to keep in the motorhome
I w noticed that Chase is strong everywhere but coming out of the corner. He needs more forward bite somehow. The car is strong all over but leaving the corner.
Pretty sure that is Royse City TX based on that Soul man's BBQ in the background. It might not be but it looked like it
that was brad couch in that hauler i am 100% sure
Glad you guys made it home. I am a bit camera shy😢 i hope you guys all tried the hot one! It was great meeting you guys! Hope the best for you this year! Get it!
You darn tootin it takes a lifetime of experience to be the best chase is doing great for 20 yrs old
It was only -30 with wind chill at home lol
We going to see more ump racing this year? That's what's in my state. Indiana. Bloomington speedway home of Steve Kinser runs a weekly show. Paragon Speedway does as well.
I'd say you did good against all those"HOT SHOT PRO DRIVERS"
Anyway! Glad to see all of you made it home in one peice,my wife and I stay in Ga. for six months during the winter but our home is in Grand Rapids Michigan area they got over 28" so far, Ga. one mile from the Fl. line had record cold of 25° so we all should feel privileged. So have a great season off racing, I know it's short down here and that is good for the racing population, I'll be watching. 💯🇺🇸ML33MI
Glad you'll made it home safe im sitting here in Meryville Tennessee with 8'' of snow about 10 degrees god bless
What do you always tell Chase it is part of racing when you travel but I'm glad you all made it home safe
Well it wasn't Royse City if you are near Tyler
I live in Wisconsin it's icy all the time sometimes it's best to not travel. Good choice to pull off
Glad y'all got home safe. Are you going to USMTS at Rocket raceway park next month
Awesome race🇺🇸🇺🇸🦞🦞
Mr Chavis it looks like your in van Texas brother
come to michigan ill teach ya how to drive on ice
Well it's 40 below and I don't give a f#@$ got a heater in my truck and I'm off to the rodeo! 🤣
Ridiculous they were trying tow yall or make yall drive in that weather and put yall in danger. Safe travels and yall had a successful trip to vado making a main 4 out of 5 nights with that field is pretty good including a top 10
Some people have a hard time with the letter and the spirit of the law/ rules!!
I'm in a tent
Not sure if you guys got any brake bias adjustment.
-23 at my house tonight. If it’s not snowing keep trucking. If your not used to ice and snow then you should not drive in it trust me!!
YA SHOULD HAVE STAYED ON I 10
Dustin Riehle here. man i just want to say ive watched chase since yaw started utube. im a factory stock racer 1 man show with a little help. but anyways i see all he does. his own bodies. which are badass. all the maint. cleaning the car everything . on top of that hes trying to make a living. im very proud of him . i mean very proud in 15 yrs he will be a killer driver. he has so much pressure on him. u tell him keep pushing an do what u do. amen
Not sure by texas law iff a weather events vehicles safety to be at risk they can tow. First off i do higheay patrol has to tell you to leave and give you a safe route, good thing you didnt come back St.louis zero’s for the last 5 days. I turned my water offand it froze my pipes but it froze at the water inlet. I shut it odd, i shoulf have it dripping but i never. Realized how cold it was going to be. I lived at this house for $30 years
Always call 511 for road reports.
Fourth! 😂
Y'all should've stayed on I 10 instead of on I 20
Any time you try to out run weather you go south it'll get cold but the crap stuff isn't as bad and Dallas is real bad when the bad stuff roles in they don't have the equipment to take care of it
Yes I'm a truck driver 41 years wish I was headed south now but no I'm headed to Pa. So I'll be in the soup again probably Friday afternoon sometime
@@Andrew_406 yes but the weather got there later than it did in Dallas plus their house is just north of I 10
For God's sake y'all be careful getting home
Let me give you some words of advice and encouragement: your young ,your going to have them aw shit moments. You call your self a dumbass and move on. You’re not special even the best racers out there make mistakes. Yah come in say something stupid to the crew shake it off and adjaust to make the car better and move on. I have over 40 years of dirt and asphalt experience ,have unloaded race winning capable cars only to take a provisional be cause our driver had an oops moment. Yah hold your head up high and move on. You’re doing something that drivers with twice the experience have only dreamed of. You’re a talented young man and you’ll be fine moving forward, quit wearing your heart on your sleeve and drive the dam thing. Good luck in 2024 and have fun ,because when it’s all said in done your just part of the circus and those in the stands are your audience.
Should ve got some bbq beside loves
