I am a small engine mechanic and used to sell these. They are easily my favorite mowers. Great value and just a bullet proof mower. Smooth control and power delivery. Don’t use the deck clean out port. It will cause premature wear in the spindles. Spindles are easy to replace but a little pricey.
Bought this same mower last year for 1/2 acre. Does it in just over 1/2 hour. Had a 54" Craftsman (not z/t) and it goes much faster w/Courier. 1st z/t I've ever been on so can't compare but like it so far a lot. 0% four year financing was nice. $100 a month. Rough yard over all so I wanted shocks. It's at a rental property/twice the mower I use at home. Glad I spent the extra money on Simplicity.
I have a $8,000 citation XT and if there's a big enough hole the front wheel goes in it will scalp as well.. but there's not a mower out there that compares to a simplicity or Ferris
Appreciate the video. I just picked this up. Right now Im only mowing a half acre lot but my old ride on died and figured I should pick up a ZT that is sufficient enough Ill likely never need to replace it.
Nice video. I haven’t found too much on this thing yet, I might be buying the 52” model tomorrow. I wanted the Ariens from Ikon but recently saw one of these and liked it. Everyone bashes the Briggs and I’m not sure why.
@@addismultitasking3504 my Ariens snowblower is a monster. Five years old problem free and handles the plow pile at the end of the driveway like a champ, Love it.
@@addismultitasking3504 I have a small yard. I keep my mowers in my attached garage, so a clean deck is most important. Plus, I want to pay less than $2800. 48 inch is overkill to me with the added expense. What I need is a tilt deck, but only Hustler 48 has it.
Actually I did last weekend sprayer pulls fine rake pulled fine as long as I didn't have too much weight on it I had two cinder blocks on it that felt like the tractor was struggling
lol that would be nice! This mower has exceeded my expectations in every way and Ive used a lot of mowers. The only gripe I have is changing the oil is always messy . I need to figure out how to change the filter without spilling oil all over.
not when it is wet. they take off on you with the rear tires spinning backwards as you slide down the hill. before I would buy a Zero turn I would buy a front mower. The mower is out front and they are rear wheel steer. I own a JD f 1145 which is four wheel drive and rear steer. climbs hills and sits on slopes very well. I also plow snow in the winter with turf tires and it is a beast. Kubota also makes a line of front mowers.

I never use the port, been a great machine

I still love mine
My only gripe is no Kawasaki engine option which is why I went with it’s red cousin. The Snapper 360Z.
nice, as long as its not a kohler
Even on the floating deck if the front tire goes in a hole the deck still follows the front wheel because it's attached to the front axle.

Trying to find gator mulching blades for the simplicity zt36 is dam near impossible. It have a 22" & 14"
yeah even the dealers are having a hard time right now

I still love mine..my back doesn't hurt anymore either
Great review! Thanks! Purchasing one on Monday!
Its been a darn good machine

Briggs are the best motors hands down...
Ariens are junk...
Worked at a lawn mower repair shop..
Kohler broke down more than any other
I bought one with the kawasaki engine and it's great. Smooth and quiet. I have two seasons on it and no issues yet.

Looked at this mower today at a local Napa. How is it working now?
I just did a start up video on how it started after sitting for 7 months. I mowed with it yesterday 1st time this year worked perfect. No complaints
How many inch cut are you using? I'm looking towards a 42Inch. Pricing I would hope about $2600 to $2800? What do you say?
get the 48 you want the deck to be wider than the wheels or you wont get very close to trees and such

ever pulled a rake or sprayer/fertilizer with this?
Actually I did last weekend sprayer pulls fine rake pulled fine as long as I didn't have too much weight on it I had two cinder blocks on it that felt like the tractor was struggling
The rake I was pulling was 48 in wide so it would probably do just fine with like a 36-in one
Awesome thank you. They should pay you for this review. Haha

Oh.... and my sprayer is a 25 gallon agri fab
I bought a brand new 2021 Husquvarna Riding Mower with a Briggs&Stratton 18.5 HP and the engine threw a rod with less than 5 hours use.
did they replace for free??? Thats not normal I see more blown kohlers than all others combined
Oil drain plug?
It has a hose drain tube. Oil filter is messy.
Can you mow hills/slopes with this mower?
yes I mow a long ditch

How’s it holding up
Love it...runs like a top and is super comfortable..my back no longer hurts!
Horsepower?
25hp
