I made this this evening after trying to figure out what to do with some leftover uncooked chicken thighs I had from Thanksgiving prep. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any toothpicks on hand causing most of the stuffing to seep out!😔I just tweaked it a little and it was super delicious though. Thanks for the recipe! To not make it look so bland on the top, I just coated the top of the chicken with the cream cheese stuffing and some paprika and they came out beautiful as if they had the skin on them! If you melt the butter (that you put on top) and brush it over the chicken breast first, not only will the seasoning stick better but it will help brown the chicken a little. Just a suggestion .

Insider info.. marinate the chx in a canola oil, crushed garlic and onion with salt and pepper for 12-24 hours. Once you've made the cheese filling portion it into 2-4 oz portions and freeze it for at least 2 hours. Then stuff your chx and season it and send it into the oven at 450 for 15-20 min
Salmon is best left simple just like a good steak. Take an 8 oz portion skinned seasoned with s&p (or get spicy and go a blackened rub) in a bath of lemon water cooked for 12 minutes at 450°. Rest slightly and finish with compound lemon butter and parsley. Adding bearnaise is recommended if you like the taste of a tarragon reduction
She's not lying. I'm actually a server at Ruth's Chris. Stuffed chicken is tied w/ our bone-in filet for my favorite dish. The chicken is amazing. If you want a lil extra... add a few drops of lime when finished... trust me.
Oh trust me I know... what I should have clarified... one night I saw another server bring a slice of lime to his guest w chicken. Upset, confused... I had to see wtf was up. Why did you do that? ( im very protective of that masterpiece...what was he doing! ) Try it he said. With pure suspicion and a bit of concern I got some lime next time, and dammit it was pretty good! It's amazing by itself but I have found myself giving it a quick squeeze of a lime wedge if I'm feeling frisky!

Cooked this tonight for my roommates. None of us have ever been to Ruth’s Chris so it was perfect!! Might not have tasted the same but none of us knew so we weren’t disappointed!
I tried your recipe tonight and OMGEE it was so good. I did add my own touch to it as well. I used Mayo, Italian bread crumbs, and left over chicken filling from this recipe. I used the above to help brown the chicken and also lock in the moisture all around the chicken. All I did was mix everything together and used a knife to spread my mixture onto the chicken. Thanks so much!!

They were bomb I made 7 chicken breasts and was worried I wouldn’t have enough filling so I added a cup of mozzarella and there was plenty of filling ! Like a 1/2 cup leftover. I tried this tonight and OMG! I used a little Baker's Joy Flour and Oil Spray which really helped give it a nice golden color. I served it with unseasoned sauteed spinach.
I added a little cayenne pepper to the cream cheese and then squeezed lime over it when it was done like someone mentioned that works at Ruth’s Chris. This is absolutely amazing! I think the little bit of heat along with the citrus elevated it even more if that’s possible. It is an absolutely amazing recipe just the way it is also. My new go to recipe for company

I love making this. I cook mine in a round pie pan with real butter. After some of the cheese has bubbled out, I stir it into the butter like a sauce. I also make Vigo yellow rice as a side and drizzle the sauce over the rice. Good stuff. Occasionally I'll add some diced Jalapeno for a little spice.
I hear you man! from this i have dreamed up about 7 different recipes, One i was thinking of is to add some bacon & spinach or small cut up broccoli to the filling a long with bacon and coat the outside with a buffalo sauce ( hot sauce with some butter and a little honey add to it to even out the flavors, With that filling it would go good with buffalo sauce.
Omg🔥🔥, I made this last night with some roasted asparagus with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Dinner was AMAZING😋! I didn't use actual salt to season my chicken, I used a little lawrys low sodium seasoning salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder and of course garnished with paprika and parsley. That ranch packet REALLY did the trick. I had four chicken breast so I added a little more sharp cheddar. This recipe by far is one of my favs. 🤗THANK U SO MUCH. My man LOVED it too! #cookingwithlon

Love this recipe....I added some finely chopped spring/green onions into the cream cheese mix. Also a hint place the cream cheese mix on some plastic wrap & roll/form it into a log then put it into the fridge for 20 mins....makes it easier to cut & then stuff into the breast. I hear you! That's what i was thinking! I could see butterflying the breast add some lemon juice, cayenne, rosemary & thyme on the outside of the chicken, but have it rapped with 3 strips bacon ( or fold the end under the chicken to keep the filling from coming out, I GOT TO MAKE THIS!
Would you suggest thin or thick sliced bacon? Would you possibly broil at the end to make the bacon crispy or will it get crispy regardless being at 450°?
To brown the top (if you go skinless) you can try pan searing it at a high heat before putting it in the oven. Great video. Looks like you really enjoyed it lol

Girl I made it today and added bacon to mine girl thank you for this recipe .
I hear you! That's what i was thinking! I could see butterflying the breast add some lemon juice, cayenne, rosemary & thyme on the outside of the chicken, but have it rapped with 3 strips bacon ( or fold the end under the chicken to keep the filling from coming out, I GOT TO MAKE THIS!
I'm using your recipe tonight and adding bacon.. looks good already and it's not even in the oven!

Would you suggest thin or thick sliced bacon? Would you possibly broil at the end to make the bacon crispy or will it get crispy regardless being at 450°?

To brown the top (if you go skinless) you can try pan searing it at a high heat before putting it in the oven. Great video. Looks like you really enjoyed it lol

I make this with bone in, skin on. Sear in cast iron, pop in hot oven. I use fresh cracked pepper,salt & herbs de Provence. 👍🏽
