When you see lots of troops at the back of your formations beginning to run, all in the same direction, it might be good to see where they are running to. It's probably to shore up a break through by the enemy. That would be interesting to see how they do that, or if they fail to do that. Also, watching long lines of troops slug it out, after about the first 30 seconds, is about exciting as watching grass grow. Look for the things that are dynamic instead of static. Look for the flanking movements, the enveloping movements, where are reinforcements, if any? Look for the things that can turn the tide of battle. It's a learning process, and over time you will get better at it. Good luck and have fun.
