Cool to see that you were the one with the most airmiles! I think I would (almost) match that with my 2021 gear, a 7m2 Gong Pulse V1 and a 2100cm2 Curve V1. But surely I would have to pump more on my Gong Hipe Pro 5.1 and would sink in each windhole whereas you would glide trough it. I have seen many people unsuccesfully trying to fly with a 5m2 and a 1400cm2 foil in light winds, although the skinny ones probably could make it.

Hi, yes i felt like i was up on foil for longer than some of the other guys. I also have a hipe pro 5ft 3" - in light winds i have to use 7.5 mtr wing and pump like crazy the wing and the board - its v hard work - im still about 110kg. There are also some other guys here who are really good and can fly on a short board with a big wing but small front foil (skinny high aspect) and still fly - they are a bit lighter than me though lol. Yes with your front foil you will struggle in the wind holes - your foil wont glide as well as high aspect so you drop and have to start all over again. Im in love with the Cruzader - in low winds sometimes i dont even have to pump to fly - its amazing and also goes upwind really easily (i struggle a lot upwind on my shorter board) 😁🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Nice! Do you remember how much wind it was?
