Last year my middle school jazz band played this at our MPA and we got Straight superior I played lead trumpet and would play with the song to practice. I love this song. Thanks posting this song, this song and playing it has a a great impact and will always remember this song.
thank you so much for this! my band and i are playing this with a euphonium instead of an alto feature, and this makes it much easier to figure out the transposing!
Tried to manually edit out all of the stutters from the original, looks like I missed the one at the start of the trumpet solo, are there any more you notice? I could take another look and make an updated version if you’d like.
@@ryantate4611 Well, I appreciate your work, and it might be worth the effort for this classy arrangement. If by stutter you mean timing irregularities, it's ok (I use it for practising, so that's fine). But when you listen in a quiet environment, you hear tens of little frequency "bumps" especially in the long notes of the solo instruments, e.g. starting at 0:30 . I know it's a tedious work that can take hours or days, I have done such using audacity. Thanks, keep it up!
