I still remember this true story. Still makes my heart melt to this day. As a homeless man, Billy could have easily sold off the ring and took the $4K, but he did the right thing and kept it for the owner. The woman was so grateful and her and her husband helped setup a gofundme for him, and of course he could that large sum of donation. But what was the most touching was that they managed to help Billy reunite with his family that he has lost for many years. The reunion was so lovely, and in my and probably Billy's eyes too, was worth more than the money he was blessed with from the donation. Sometimes in life, we gotta to do the right thing, even though it may or may not inconveniences us, but it may help others, who in turn may help us. This video is a good way to share the story of Billy's good-nature and unselfishness even in the face of dire circumstances. Thank you DramatizeMe team for making this happen.
He also wasn't really rewarded for eventually "doing the right thing". She bought him the tickets but only after he opened his saxophone to get her ring back. He doesn't even net out as he already had the money to go home. Now of course, his conscience would not have allowed for that, because it didn't, but he message hey are trying to present to do the write thing because you will be rewarded isn't actually demonstrated here. Imagine if he gave the ring back in the first encounter, it's very doubtful she would have done anything for him, in fact, not giving her the ring is the only scenario in which he gets what he wants
The saxophone guy, in my view, has a high conscience and take good responsibility to return what is not his instead of letting his pride cloud his mind. You know, the business of any pawn shop, when something has been sold to the place, the price you are going to pay to get it back is going to doubled or tripled. The man has been fair enough to sell his most valuable treasure that he use to earn his living. We need this kind of person in our society.
Agree with you, @manassaweeassawakittiporn3516🤗 Good people should always be the ones who lead the way in society. We know that goodness and noble conscience do not always prevail, but we must continue to encourage the nobility that human beings have. Not just for morality, but even for a practical reason: it would make the world a better place to live in❤❤🙏🙏

They asked her how many jobs she had as she was in a work uniform she told them and told them why she was working so much. Funny thing was that couple tried to take some of that money themselves that was raised for the homeless man.
To be fair, he did try to give it back initially. She and her friend were being so mean and demeaning towards him to a point where he gave up.
