    Thanks to you. Managed to pull out the tank and had self taught myself to do a few services on my own like replacing a pair of new spark plugs, cleaning the throttle body and replacing the 'who knows who modded' air filter.

      It’s pretty simple. I just did it on mine just don’t yank up real hard and you have to worry about anything.

      @@yt_lota896 could you just make a video where you get to the spark plugs?

    Thanks for video. I'm planning to diy my tank removal too this weekend and so far I only managed to id 2 wire/connectors you've shown. 1. The fuel hose to the round shaped thing ( the one next to the overflow hose I believe , 2. The wire socket that is connected to the body... but I can't really decide on the third socket/connector/ hose that I need to remove
    Hope u can help... Many tbanks

      For the fuel hose. You must press 2 buttons and pull at the same time. Like pinching.
      For the wire connectors, there is also a tab you have to lift while pulling out.
      Cannot just yank them. I guess it wasn't clear in the video.

      U r rite. It was not so clear in the vid. I still could not figure out how many cables or hoses u need to disassemble to have the tank freed and safely removed. How many cables/hoses that u actually removed to have the tank safely removed?

      Should be 4
      1 fuel hose. Thick black cable connected to a silver tube, must pinch the button to remove.
      1 white hose. Not sure the name. Just remove the clip and slow pull it out, wet with fuel for lubrication.
      2 wire connectors. have to lift the tab and pull out.

    When reassembling the tank, do the metal clamps that tighten the tubes need to be replaced, or are the old ones okay?

    • @popdogfool
      @popdogfool  8 месяцев назад +1

      I reuse them. So far so good.

    Hey man, is it safe to remove the first pipe you showed ? I mean is any gas gonna come out of any of these pipes ? I tried to remove the tank today but I didn't dare pulling out that first hose. Thanks

    • @popdogfool
      @popdogfool  Год назад +1

      Yeah. Some fuel will come out. The fuel that's in the hose.
      So you don't have to worry about fuel spilling everywhere.
