An Epic Card Show With Loads Of Vintage Cards!! The Fairfield Card Show!!

- Northern California has some outstanding vintage card shows, and the Fairfield Card Show if one of our very best. I saw rare Bazooka Cards of Clemente, a Gehrig Delong, a Bond Bread Yogi Berra, and loads of Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Ruth, and more. There were more T206, Goudey's, Tobacco Cards, and vintage cards than I've seen in a very long time. And to make things even more fun, my Dad and I setup as dealers, too!! This vlog shows you some of the best tables, dealers, and cards that I came across at this Summer's best Northern California card show. I did my best to provide dealer information in case you wanted to reach out to any of these dealers for any of the cards that you see throughout the video.

I did make a purchase on day 2, but will not do another video. I’ll share the pickups (plural) in my June pickups video at the end of the week!!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Coach Miller, you scored a GEM with that Roberto! And Midlife Jeremy - you are an inspiration! I hope you all sell like the wind today!!!
Mooooookie! Thank you, I did have a better 2nd day. You are such a great part of the community with comments that are witty/interactive. I think a Mookie’s greatest hit should be on Graig radar for an upcoming video….. and just maybe a special guest! Hope you and everyone out there has a great 4th!
I'm still waiting for my Dr. J and Joe Namath rookies to show up in the mail today. Mo's stuff is amazing! Fun show spending the day with Graig and picking up the Clemente. The picture of the Clemente doesn't do the card justice. It a killer and great addition to my collection.
Can we see the namath? I'm drooling already
Congrats!
Very funny, Pops!!
Great coverage, thanks for putting this together. Really fun to watch.
So glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks a bunch.
awesome video Graig, thanks for taking us along!
Thanks AL. I wish I could go to some Denver shows with you and Darren.
Hi Midlife Nation! To people that haven’t had the pleasure to meet Graig in person, what you see on all his amazing video is what you get!! Thank you for all the support this weekend, sending vintage collectors my way at the show and all the kind words on this Fairfield Card show video. I told Mike if he had a RUclips channel he’d have 6,000 subs! Ha …Your Dad is such a nice/fun guy, enjoyed our interactions at the show. -Jeremy
Jeremy- You're a gem. I had a lot of fun talking with you this weekend and my Dad said the same on multiple occasions. Congrats on having your first show as a dealer in the books!!
Another great show table video. These are always my fave vids. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. So glad you enjoyed it.
Graig, thanks again for the text on the bazooka Clemente’s! Your Dad got a great one, awesome 56! Great video and recap, well done!
Thanks my friend.
Great footage Graig! You always do an awesome job on these show videos
Thanks so much. That really means a lot.
WOW my brother great show for you and your dad to set up at, thanks NY Lou
Glad you enjoyed it
Loved it! So many incredible vintage cards!
It was a really great show.
Graig, great video! It definitely got me in National mode! 😊👊
It's gonna be fun.
Beautiful Clemente, my favorite. Congrats
Thank you! Cheers!
I wonder if you'll buy that Whitey rookie on Day 2. I have that card in PSA 3, but from the quick look I got, I think the 2.5 you were looking at might be its equal if not better. I'll email you mine. $400 seems about right for a 2.5 (my 3 cost $525 all in) and I bet you have a little negotiating room there. I would have liked to know what the dealer was asking for those Bazooka Clementes. Probably above my pay grade!
The Bazooka cards were going for $900 for the 60 and $2,500 for the 68. I ended up not buying the Whitey Ford, but I did buy a few cards. I'll show them on my June pickups video.
Nice card your dad got. Did you buy anything ? It would be nice if you highlighted or mixed in more old football or boxing for us guys who do other than baseball. The Namath 6 was an awesome card. The 60 Jim Brown looked like a buy under 100. Was there any pre war football ? Thanks Graig, love the show videos
I did make a football purchase!! Actually TWO!! I’ll share them on my June pickups video that will probably post on Friday!!
Like #12, Broadway Joe in the house of cards! Nice cards Graig and you dad as well. On top of that the Clemente 4 was an awesome pick up. I had a 1960 Jim Brown and looking to get another one of these years. Cool show and thanks for sharing another great video. 👍👍 and ✌out
Thanks so much. We had a lot of fun this weekend.
Really great virtual tour of the show, Graig. This was a vintage feast for my eyes, enjoyed it a lot. Sweet Jackie grabbed by your pops, too! Thanks for taking the time to film and share it with us. 👊😃
Thanks Shane!! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Hi Graig,
Thanks for your coverage of the Fairfield show. Your photography and your narrative are unrivalled! I love the Moe Berg card!
Have a great evening and relax,
Peter
Thanks Peter. I really appreciate your kind words.
I saw a Cepeda rookie autographed in one of those cases, and sadly he passed away yesterday. Picked up a 74 Cepeda yesterday (his only card as a Red Sox player/he played there in 73 and was Boston's first ever DH).
Super sad that we lost another legend.
Hi Graig. Excellent footage of the show and loved seeing all that vintage. I'll be sending you a text message on one card that not only caught your eye, but mine also. Talk soon my friend.
Looking forward to it.
As always, you do a great job with show footage. I am worried however that I may become diabetic with all of this eye candy. LOL Great job Graig!
I'm on a sugar high, too!! LOL.
Awesome stuff! Thank you for sharing. I did send you a question via email regarding a specific item in the show for when you have time
I hope I responded.
I appreciate that you talk over the footage of dealer tables, Graig. To me that makes your show videos more interesting than a lot of other show videos. Thanks!
Thanks for that feedback!! I appreciate it.
The Fairfield Card Show looks awesome 👌 👏...How many dealers were there? Where in Fairfield was it?
It was at the Solano Town Center Mall. About 250 dealers- 350 Tables.
Dad has THE Cases! And nice Clementine!
100% my handsome friend.
Hi Graig. I really enjoyed the show video. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for sharing the shoe Graig! Looks like a great show. I hope you guys do well!
Thanks my friend. We had a fun weekend.
I was bummed I couldn't make it out this weekend! Great footage!
Glad you enjoyed it.
I’m interested in some of the cards from you and your dad’s table. Would I be able to buy them from you?
Absolutely. Feel free to email me with a list. If I list my email address here, it will get blocked from RUclips, but look in my profile and it's listed there.
Looks like some cool stuff at the show man, hope ya'll did good!
We had fun. That's the key.
Man, that place looks like a jewelry store in Beverly Hills.
Lots of eye candy.
The 1956 Topps cards have grown on me over the years. Clemente '56 is a gorgeous card. Great pick up for your dad. I was reading earlier a little about Cepeda's life. He had a tough life both before entering the MLB losing his dad, not knowing English, and after it, in his later years. Stroke...and abuse by his own daughter in-law. But he seemed like a nice guy that cared about kids.
Graig, you were having so much fun at the show. You didn't even say anything negative about PSA. Hopefully, you will be able to get the interview. Can always put the rant video on private. ☺
Cepeda was a good guy in the area. Attended lots of events and ran baseball camps for many years.
Yeah, 1956 is a great year
Fun stuff from the show - thanks for sharing!
You bet!
Good stuff today. I must be in a shopping mood.😁 Did you get a price for the bazooka clementes?
Yes. The 60 is $900 and the 68 is $2,500
@@MidLifeCards did Theo have any interest?
Are the 90's inserts considered vintage now?
I'd say no.
Dude, what a show. That case with the 53’s! 🤯
Totally agree. A friend ended up buying two of them.
I always enjoy your channel. Cool cards
That's so nice. I really appreciate it.
Cool video and some gorgeous cards!
Thanks a bunch!
Where can we get a Midlife shirt? I’d love to wear one at National.
That would be awesome. Skaght of Reindeer Studios has an Etsy store and sells them. If you go to Etsy and search for Reindeer Studios, you’ll find them there. But, I’ll also add a link to the description of this video. If you’re having problems finding it, email me and I’ll send you a direct link. The shirts run a little small, so order one size larger than normal.
@@MidLifeCards Thanks! I’ll do that tomorrow. I’ll try to find you at the National and stop by with the shirt on. 😁
Why do I love 50's and 60's MLB cards so much?
Because they're awesome!!
Because they are unique and beautiful 😍
Hi Graig, I’m down in Modesto. I saw a couple in your case I’m interested in.
Feel free to shoot me an email.
@@MidLifeCardseither I’m blind or need to get onto my computer, but I can’t find your email.
@@Dboger82 I’ll put it in here but I think RUclips is gonna delete this message. It’s midlifecards@gmail.com
@@MidLifeCards got it. Thanks
Nice set up Graig!
Thanks. We had a fun weekend at the show.
Great video Graig. Your dad is full of surprises. Coming out of nowhere with the 56 Clemente!
I was excited for him!!
It was awesome meeting you and your dad at the show. Thanks again for the Boyer and Musial cards!
Great meeting you jon erik!! I appreciate you serving our country and appreciate you coming by and saying hello at the show. It was great meeting you.
@@MidLifeCards thank you.
Your dad gave me a good deal on what I thought were already good priced cards that I didn’t ask for. Those Boyer cards were too good for to pass up. Because of that I was able to get a ‘63 pride of the NL Mays/Musial from a table you highlighted in your video.
This winter I’ll be sure to send you a card from Antarctica.
@@jon-eriksuermann9844 awesome!! It was great meeting you.
@@MidLifeCards hopefully it’s not the last time.
What struck me was your channel has gotten huge with tons of subscribers, and I’m sure many of us approach you. Despite that you remembered me commenting on your videos.
I hope you and your dad had a good show.
Why dont we see more or any of the 1894 Mayo N302 football cards for sale?
Because they're rare!!
when i was in my late 20's I use to go to a card shop in Concord Ca, Carla and her husband owned it. Anyone know what ever happened to the shop and them?
I'm not sure, but I have no doubt I wen to that shop.
@@MidLifeCards Carla and Dave over by the tower record and block buster (all gone)
Love your Dads purchase!
He got a beauty!!
What did you buy Graig?
I bought a few cards. I'll show them on Friday in my June pickups video.
topps baseball...yawn
Bond bread cards, Delong Gehrig, t206, t205, Johnston cookies cards, etc. there’s MUCH more than Topps baseball.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
Topps vintage is pretty cool 😎
