A commentary on teaching: my current 8th grade students are spelling their names incorrectly and apparently unaware of capital vs lower case letters. This seems to me to be the result of iPads in Kindergarten and parents not pulling out a paper and pencil to show their child how to write their name? Or a parent never looking at student writing to notice an error? Just an FYI point on possibly returning to teaching 🙂 these kids moving up to high school real soon 🫠
