His loosing animation should of had him turn red and rage imo, that’s would be pretty funny
That's how it was in 7, no idea why they changed it.
7's Wiggler also had a motion of extending the upper arm backwards like Mario dashing when he uses a boost. It is also gone :'(

This now legitimately my new main in this game now. And I always use the wild wiggler for this character, because I want to support Wiggler Wednesday and because I think it looks cute when the wiggler dives on it. Thanks Nintendo, for bringing this caterpillar back. Thank you! 🐛🐛🐛
I was so happy when wiggler was introduced
Wiggler has no enemies. After being fueled by rage for most of his career, he really experienced character development after the farmland arc of Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story
The fact that wiggler doesnt get mad when finishing in a bad place teaches us how should we behave in online mode xd

I love that Wiggler of all characters has a rage flex taunt
I like how he has 2 different anti gravity trick animations based on his vehicle type, on a kart, he has a happy flower effect as he throws his hands in the air, while on a bike he turns angry quickly.
Fun Fact, his horn sound is his train noise he makes when angry, I personally honk it to the sound of his train horn when I get hit and I have no item lol

I wasn’t even upset when Wiggler came back just surprised since I thought it would be difficult for them to put Wiggler on a bike and ATV due to his shape and height. Hence why I thought Wiggler would never be added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

In my perspective, I always find Wiggler to be one one of the most relatable characters, which is why he's my favorite character, also because of how adorable and terrifying he is. Like, I would get mad too if somebody disturbed me or hit me. Call me weird, but whenever I choose Maple Treeway while playing as Wiggler, I always like to say "Home field advantage" for some reason, lol.
I remember when the DLC for the game was announced and praying that they bring Wiggler back, I was so happy when they actually did as well as Petey Piranha.
I like when wiggler closes his eyes and smiles, and applauses while looking back.

I used to be afraid of Wiggler when it gets upset as a kid. Like, it just instantly gets PISSED and it even screams in agony for this game. Nowadays, it's kinda funny. I really like Wiggler now 😂

In one of his jump boosting animations he gets angry as I noticed
I think he only does that animation when he's on a bike , wild wiggler, or other vehicles like that.

I'm not a fan of how their second set of arms doesn't do much. In Mario Kart 7, they used to lean back when the kart boost ups, as well as surf-waving when drifting. Heck, they even looked expressive whilst just driving normally.
I do like their trick animations and how they immediately get mad when hit by an item (unlike in MK7, when they got mad AFTER the item hit them) - but everything else seems like a downgrade. I cannot understand why Nintendo did this.

Fun fact due to Wiggler having 4 arms he is the only character who still has two hands on the steering wheel/handlebars when holding a item.

He actually became my new main after Wiggler was added to the roster. After he was added, everyone started to play as him, with the wild wiggler (I'M NOT EVEN JOKING). So I, like most people, started to use Wiggler on Wild Wiggler. Now, when I use this combo in races, I feel like I'm going faster than everyone else and the drifting is just perfect. No wonder people kept using this combo. Anyway, longstoryshort, Wiggler is my new main, he's the best character, and we shall all protect this caterpillar at all cost.

Well that is because Wiggler and Bowser Jr. used to have the same voice actor, Dolores Rogers. These days Bowser Jr. is now voiced by Caety Sagoian but Wiggler is still voiced by Dolores Rogers. Caety Sagoian sounds almost identical to Dolores Rogers though so you wouldn’t likely know this unless you looked this all up.
