That's some insane combat footage. This war has been the most documented in history. Iraq and Afghanistan had a lot of footage but nothing like Ukraine.
I can't even begin to imagine the films, documentaries and compiled war footage that will emerge from this conflict. Let alone how much this will shape modern warfare for decades to come!

The Crimean war in the 1850s between Russia and the west was revolutionary as it was the first to have actual war correspondents providing coverage of events for the home audiences, and like that war this one will completely change how wars are accessed and portrayed to the general public completely.

Yes indeed. Urban warfare is nasty. In Stalingrad you had Germans in the Kitchen and bedroom fighting Soviets In the livingroom and bathroom of the same house. Outside was a killzone with no hope of recovery for fallen and or wounded soldiers, the only way to move was by going through the walls house to house, room by room, attic to attic and basement to basement.
