When did schools start making parents sign their homework? When I was growing up (90s) the parents only had to sign if you failed a test or didnt do multiple homework assignments.
I don't have to sign homework as long as it's done the teacher is cool. I have to sign notes from teacher, all tests, and weekly conduct reports. But yea it's to make sure parents are informed but these kids are clever nowadays. My son hid his first conduct report. His teacher says she's even had a couple students sign their parent's names. No complaints, my daughter motivated me to go back to school and graduate while my mom tried to hold me back.

I don’t have children but I have nieces and nephews and believe me, when they wanted to read their lines or sing songs to learn for school plays and projects, I was there for a listening ear.
