It must be so rad to be your teenage daughter and have access to all this high-end skincare and makeup that most adults can't even afford (Definitely not jealous at all, not this guy nothing to see here move along)
Meet my 14 year old daughter! I'm a skin care/make up junkie. Probably thousands in my brushes and make up/skin care cupboards. She gets into all of it. As a mother...it's a little annoying! lol. I would hide my favs too! (and I do!)
Only 4 minutes in and I have to say: I, in all likelihood, would not have found the British brands I love without your knowledge and recommendation. And, for those of us who are U.S. citizens and adore the U.K. brands, we do get screwed at the check-out; but the British brands are some of the very best in the world. They are worth the investment. You also have brought American and other non-U.K. brands into the U.K. by using and recommending them. (Drunk Elephant is the most recent). You should be recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for your service to the British economy. The Hirons’ Effect is real!! Well done you and dead serious-💌
I'm on my third bottle of that Clinique Moisture Surge serum, I love it so much. The whole Moisture Surge range is great, I've recently tried the Overnight mask and it's amazing. I have a cold right now, my skin is red and dry and angry but I put on this mask just after I've used the Ren anti redness serum, and the combination of these products is really soothing, and my skin instantly feels better. Have a good week end, Caroline! :)
i dismantle the moisture surge, take the bottom silver part off and push out the part that goes all the way up and *seems* empty, but there's at least 4 more uses of the serum in there (if not more) that the pump can't access. i pay good money for it i will scrape every last bit off damnit 😆
Don't break it. You can unscrew the top silver part, use what's left and then clean and reuse the container. I decant my jar moisturizers such as moisture surge!
Pausing to comment, I love Chanel’s Sublimage eye cream. I have tried others and I honestly cannot find anything equal. It firms, it moisturizes, it keeps wrinkles at bay, ... I know it’s expensive but it is worth every penny in my experience. What do you think of it Caroline? What is in it that I find so magical? It has no scent, that I can detect, btw.
I am sitting here on a Sunday night painting my nails and I just dyed my hair LOL and watching your video is perfect for that. I appreciate that you talk about the fact that you don’t need extreme anti-aging remedies at a young age!!
You just reminded me I need to order anotherJosh Rosebrook hydrating accelerator. I love that spray! It’s the only one that actually hydrates...and it smells naturally beautiful.
Always love your empties! I’m so curious about the products Ava loves. As soon as you held up the TH, I knew you were going to say something about Ava stealing it. I wish I was focused on my skin at her age. I used my Zelens mist this morning. I don’t think anything compares. I think I need to bring my EH balm back out. Great video as always!!
I love these videos. So informative and interesting to see what products are working well for someone with similar skin. But how on earth do you go through so many products so quickly?? I probably only generate one or two empties per month while doing a full skincare routine twice per day.
My skin went from combo to dry after I hit menopause and started using tretinoin. Tata Harper Purifying cleanser leaves my skin uncomfortably dry and tight, which is a bummer, because I wanted to like it and it smells divine.
Loved as always. Laughed out loud at your shout out to your freaks already googling the Kat Burke Vit C formulation; I had already paused the video three times by that point to investigate products. 😂😂😂 Skinfreak and proud!
Love your videos Caroline. Your recommendation of Emma Hardie’s Cleansing Balm is one of my all time faves... it she made a fragrance I’d wear it bc I love the smell of her balm and the texture makes me feel like I’m being pampered. So lush!!!
Hi! Why can’t I find the Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair for sale on Sephora in Canada? Has it been discontinued, or has it not been released here? 😔
Love watching you educate me on skincare with a red wine in my left hand and my right hand in a bag of crisps. 🤣question: would you spend more money on your daycreme or your nightcreme? Or would you spend it all on a serum and spike Both your dreams? Would love to hear the awnser from you. Oh and last but not least, nobody rocks a bun and white nailpolish as you do! 👏👏👏😘😘
Hi Caroline, Which product in Canada would be Kate Sommerville's Deep Tissue Repair? Our regulations dont't seem to like the name but I am hoping they have called it something else so that I am able to purchase it. Thank you!
Yes yes yes, love an empties video, made my morning. Couldn’t click fast enough 😬🤩. Caroline you make me smile and laugh whilst getting my skincare fix, love it, thank you x
You're so right about British and US people being screwed when buying from the other country. I'm in Canada so I normally just pay the going exchange rate when I buy from most countries, which is nice. I've been using 2 Drunk Elephant products for 3 months and their prices are already super high to begin with, but OMG, what a difference they have made to my skin (C Firma and B Hydra). I've been using the travel sizes but plan on buying full sizes and a few more items when Sephora has their 20% off sale next month. I have (over 40) sensitive, dry, eczema prone skin with red blotches, a bit of texture under my eyes and a few lines. It's really done wonders for all of it, to the point I can just spot conceal. I am just starting to incorporate glycolic acid, and want to try the Tango eye cream. I plan to add oils (I samples of have Sunday Riley, Vitner's Daughter, Tata Harper and Tarte Maracuja oil) but need to do research on how to layer (I also use serums and creams). My rescue product is the May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon balm. It's mega expensive but a pot will last a year and it's worth it for what it does for me. Your videos have been incredibly helpful to me. 😗❤
You really are the Yoda of skincare....I could honestly watch your videos all day. Do you have any suggestions for wrinkles on the chest, neck and back of hands? Thank you again for another awesome video xx
😍Wonderful video, so informative. Your skin looks better than ever, if thats possible! Now I want everything. Affordable dupes of these products please??? 🤗
So if you had to choose between Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair or DCL peptide plus cream which do you think would be better for a 35-year-old with combo skin but some definite wrinkles and lines are showing up. I love your videos and the awesome info!! Thank you for all that you do :)
Josh Rosebrook mist is lush! Brilliant for layering with serums and really hydrating, during the summer I went through two bottles. It smells gorgeous too
Loving all the skin care info just provided. Bar none you manage to tackle all types of skin concerns - Now, for skin just arriving at age 50- what would recommend for the treatment of hyperpigmentation ? Sun is a problem here in South Florida -SOS! Big Duran Duran fan !
Hi Caroline. Great video 😃Have you tried Mother Dirt AO+ Mist? It contains live bacteria to help your skin biome. Wonder how it compares to the Zelens one.
Hi Caroline, how would you rank the Squalane oil and DE marula oil vs. Vitner’s Daughter? I absolutely adore Vitner’s Daughter (which I found through your video, thank you!) but am curious about these two you mentioned here. Thank you!
Just finished another tub of DTR, it’s just divine. Is there any news on when this will be available in the UK? I know Kate said it would be one of the first products to come over but it’s not here still 🙁
Question for you all ... I am on the fence between KS Deep Tissue Repair or Kat Burki Vitamin C cream. 61 years old with dry skin. Which one should I try first? Thanks!
Love these empties! Hope you can live of only Zelens too. I absolutely adore all their products I have tried so far. So happy you recommended it! Enjoy your weekend! Xx
Is the Squalane Oil from Indeed Labs available in the UK? I know Boots stock Indeed Labs, but no sign of the Squalane Oil on their website. Would Indie Lee be a good alternative? And anyone know when the Indeed Labs Oil will arrive here (UK)? Thanks 😉
@@minazohradalagerjensen I just saw a dermatologist for the first time and they called me in some meds also gave me some samples but I'm going to ask around before I pay.
Hi, Thank you for the long awaited empties! I'm just running out of KS Deep Tissue Repair and KS Quench, the most wonderfully hydrating serum. Managed to buy those from KS US website, back in the good old days when we could buy online. Now KS UK has the most annoying website which hardly stocks anything I need. And I'm of a certain age when one needs serious scaffolding :) Caroline, you can ask your pal KS to bring a bag full of goodies. But where can mere mortals like us order the Deep Tissue Repair from?
Hi Caroline. If you are using hyaluronic acid would you still use a squalane oil? Are they doing the same job? I've dehydrated red skin with large pores so don't want to overload the skin (if you know what I mean). Thanks a million x
I really like the Kat Burki Vitamin C cream and Goji Essence, I still roll my eyes at the “we don’t use water” BS, like tap water is also not water, but their products are very nice! I also really like the Chanel blue serum, I thought it’s going to be a “pre serum” but I ended up using it as a ... gel moisturizer.
Can I just say...these last few weeks (more?) I've been admiring your skin even more than usual! I notice it in every video! Don't know if it's something new in your skincare or makeup or what but doesn't matter, you look fabulous and thought you should know :-)
I adored the videos you did with Dr Marko Lens and I'm more than willing to try his products, but(!) while his products (one at least) are in my budget (because I do budget my money), I'm still a student (master in food economics), 25, smoker (yeah, I know), dehydrated skin.. so my Question: would you recommend the most "impactful" product of his to try for my general target group? You are a joy (sometimes I catch myself doing your victory fist clench :D). Sunny greetings from Hamburg (26°C..whaaaaat?!)
Hi Caroline I was wondering if u could possibly, or may already have, done a vid on face oil for all skin types. I’m the same age as you, and would love to know what’s the best oils out there for my combination skin. Thanks xx
Thanks for this 😊. I was wondering if you have a recommended cream of serum to help tighten up the upper eyelid hood? Google is not helpful 🙄. Thank you!
After your Bun Friday video, I looked into all the advent calendars available this year and finally came full circle to the Space NK one. I should have known that if Her Royal Hirons (I'm trying to make this term stick) likes it, I needn't have looked elsewhere. I can't wait to receive it this week ❤️❤️❤️
Who else has tried the Marc Jacobs primer? Is it really hydrating for dry skin? Do you have to let it sink in for a certain amount of time before applying foundation? Thanks in advance
Hello Caroline. Great post! Do you know if the Kate Somerville deep tissue repair cream has been renamed or rebranded? I can’t find it anywhere, even on her site. Thank you
I think you look beautiful!! I love your videos-it’s like having a friend chat with me while air prep dinner, fold laundry and so on. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😘
Adore you. Sitting here on this Sunday morning and having a cup of coffee and contemplating all this advice. Brilliant description of the Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair in your description box. :) xoxo
I'm taking notes so that I am prepared for Black Friday - think I'm going to have to rewatch all the empties videos. Top of my list are Zelens products.
Thank you for this - tops as usual! Watching you repeatedly inhale the scent of the products you were reviewing reminded me of this. Any thoughts on the assertion from Paula’s Choice that whether one can apparently tolerate some perfumed skincare products or not, the perfume is undermining your skin and doing unseen damage? I adore Dr Zelens’ skincare and the subtle and to my mind unique scent but PC would have me believe I’m probably harming my skin using it 😩. Do you think this is an overstatement ... ? Be interested on your angle on this topic. xx
Okay, so I have a skincare industry question! I’ve noticed lately (over here in North America anyway, specifically Canada), that more high end skincare brands are being stocked at places like Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Winners, etc. How does that happen and are they safe? Is it excess product, damaged project, etc? I’m really interested in how that all works in the industry. I often search for an expiration date but can’t seem find much. Lately the big brands I’m seeing in-store are Algenist, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Ole Hendricksen, Milk.
@@stefaniemedina14 some could be but I've lucked up and got stuff that sephora just got before. I think its alot of different reasons. But here lately it has been alot of overstock stuff that isnt selling like they thought it would.. I saw a girl at sephora about to pay full price and down the road the same palette was half off.
It could be a mixture of discontinued products or old packaging. And you're right, a lot of them don't have expiration dates BUT being as there is so many preservatives in there, they should be ok. They should have that little jar on the product somewhere though that shows how long you have to use it AFTER its opened.
Do you have any recommendations of face masks to use with the transitioning weather? I'm in the US, w/ 30+ combination skin and could use a good mask that is clarifying but not to drying or thats hydrating but not to heavy to get me through the crazy weather changes, or to help after getting a cold? Thanks! Great video as always : ) Also... RAW HIDE!!! I can't escape that song lol my dad loves it and it was the bane of my childhood
My esthetician gave me a sample of Kat Burki Vitamin C cream and I ended up buying the regular sized jar. It’s as you say LUSH! She also gave me a samples of the Kat Burki Form Control Marine Collagen Gel and it smells and feels amazing, just can’t afford the $160 price tag for the 1OZ bottle. The Vit C face cream is $110 which is pricey, but as you say, my skin really likes it and I have yet to find Vit C L-Asrobic serums that are kind to my skin yet.
Please bring DTR to the UK Kate 🙏🏼 My skin is miserable without it. I can’t get it shipped from the US and can’t buy it here. We’ve been having a debate on skin freaks re putting oil on before or after moisturiser. Logically, before shouldn’t work. Where would I add Indeed Labs? X
I’m a day late to comment, but I love your empties vids! I’ve heard great things about the DCL cream, and that the eye cream is great too. Have you tried it yet?
Caroline, love all the luxury products but my kids need designer sweatshirts and shoes !! Can you please do a review of good quality skincare that works for smaller purses ? Tia , debs x
I’m in love with the Emma hardie balm. That was my first cleansing balm ever and nothing ever comes close to it (in my opinion). I love your (Caroline’s) balm too but you spoiled me with the EH one since you’re the one who introduced it so I prefer EH more (mainly because of the smell and I feel like I’m in a spa and my skin LOVES it). The tata Harper is lush too but my dry skin couldn’t use it everyday so I reserve the tata for my special treat. Can we have more vlogs please 😬 even if you’re just doing the laundry or singing to Duran Duran, it doesn’t matter. I want more of you!
Hi Caroline, did you perhaps use also the Retin-C Treatment Complex from Kat Burki? I wonder if it is worth the price and if it is strong. Love to hear your opinion🤗
Ok this is the first I've heard you mention a probiotic product. I have oily, red , acne prone skin. I have been using a product called Galactomyaces Niacin Essance by Manyo Factory. It has good bacteria, Good yeast , Acids and Niacin. I don't know if it's the probiotics or everything combined but it has completely changed my skin. Redness is gone, oiliness is way down and pores are smaller. It also moisturizes and takes care of any acne or potential acne.
I bought your double cleanse cream and the Pixi mud mask and love them, I tried the Pixi toner but I found it didn't do much for me as my usual toner is a 8% Glycolic just a difference in skin type. But love overall.
Caroline can you do a review on Algenist! Sephora caries this skin care line. I always over looked until recently the collagen serum I got as a perts reward and it's amazing! ;-)
Hi caroline, im really curious, you must have seen the dupes for glow tonic, sand and sky and super mud that aldi have made. Are any of these any good? What is the difference? What do you think of the ingredients? Or are they just in similar packaging?
Speaking of Squalane...I'd love to know your thoughts about the Squalane-based brand, Biossance...don't know if it's in the UK but maybe on your next swing over to the States and Sephora (!!) Hope you visit Charleston SC one day, love you!
I’m curious of your opinion on how to care for scars on the face while maintaining a beauty regiment - should fresh scars be avoided with certain products?
Caroline, what does one need to be part of your fb group? I’ve been watching a couple of years, am in school for my LE and I’d love to learn more. Thanks! 🤗
Ok two things I need from this video- the Tata Harper cleanser AND that T shirt! Big Sur is one of my most favorite places on earth. I’m dying to know where you found that!
I remember I bought Emma Hardie cleansing balm travel size in a set of 3 before, now I can't find it anywhere anymore. If anyone knows where I can buy it, please help ~ :")
I absolutely love this Tata Harper cleanser (I blame you for that)! I see that they make a huge 400 ml version now for 100GBP which I'm tempted to buy when my current one finishes!
I'm loving peptides too, but I'm curious...what are the main differences between something like Drunk Elephant protini and the DCL peptide cream or Kate Somerville DTR? Are the concentrations of peptides higher than DE? Are there other techy ingredients that I should factor in? Do you just like the texture or moisture levels more? (I'm assuming that DCL and Kate are both in the heavier cream category as compared to DE.) Obviously, you don't have to use protini, but because it's a peptide cream with a nice texture, I'm surprised I don't see it more often in your rotation.
Thanks for all the information. Are there any beauty events coming up with yourself please? Would love to attend. Re Drunk elephant/- I have a lot of skin care which are essential oil based and worried about using them up after watching their videos. Any advice on that will be helpful.
i loooooooooooove the squalene..i got it when i heard about it..Mine is made out of olives..its so nice ..my sensitive, dry, parched skin digs it soooo much..
I know you love that Emma Hardy and I did love the smell and it does the job... BUT thees next to Jo actual Moringa in it. I prefer the Elemis balm. I've been using up stuff too. In preparation for black Friday 😅 where I want more! I'm the same with coriander coffee curry etc. How weird. Thanks for an vid lovely lady. XOXO
I love that you pull your empties apart 🤣 I'm always hacking into my empties with scissors to get the very last glob of product out. Waste not want not and all that!!

I think you look beautiful!! I love your videos-it’s like having a friend chat with me while air prep dinner, fold laundry and so on. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😘
Hi Caroline! Can’t wait to know what you think about Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition. Thanks for sharing your knowledge xx
I mean Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition.
Lately the big brands I’m seeing in-store are Algenist, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Ole Hendricksen, Milk.
classicamity I did see Ole Hendrickson at TJ maxx...but it was the old packaging. So I thought maybe that is why?
Its bc alot of stores or overstocked so then it goes to tj maxx. Bc mine had some new stuff from a new brand so that is what I know.. hope that helps
I think a lot of it is product that is close to expiring.
Your videos are always such a joy to watch!! Thank you Caroline!! 😍😍😍
They’ve both been in previous empties videos. Love them x
Caroline Hirons 😊
Caroline, love all the luxury products but my kids need designer sweatshirts and shoes !! Can you please do a review of good quality skincare that works for smaller purses ? Tia , debs x
Your quirky sense of humor tickles my funny bone. Love your channel. ☺
Have you ever tried Skinn Cosmetics Collagenesis line? It’s widely available. Would love to know your thoughts.
Caroline, Cult Beauty has a *massive* size Tata Harper purifying cleanser at the moment.
Hi Caroline, did you perhaps use also the Retin-C Treatment Complex from Kat Burki? I wonder if it is worth the price and if it is strong. Love to hear your opinion🤗
Can I ask what you put on your hair when you put it up? Xx
Which Tata Harper cleanser would you recommend for the people with more sensitive skin?
Caroline, do you use the Josh Holbrook Hydrating Accelerator as a toner prior to serums, etc?
Lazy Saturday morning with an empties video from Caroline? Yes, please!! ❤️
Hi Caroline! Have you tried any of the Garden of Wisdom line yet?
Hearing your voice makes my day brighter❤️
can you get the squalane in the UK? you've included a US link which doesn't ship to UK and I can't find it on the Boot site
I was in Harvey Nicks in Leeds on Wednesday and they were setting up the Marc Jacobs counter. It was supposed to launch on Friday 😊
"I could live off Tata, I could live off Drunk Elephant, I could live off Clinique". Living the tough life 😂
Please a skin ceutical review
Caroline can you do a review on Algenist! Sephora caries this skin care line. I always over looked until recently the collagen serum I got as a perts reward and it's amazing! ;-)
Hi caroline, im really curious, you must have seen the dupes for glow tonic, sand and sky and super mud that aldi have made. Are any of these any good? What is the difference? What do you think of the ingredients? Or are they just in similar packaging?
They’re crap passing off as the real thing.
I would love Olay brand overview especially with new whipped products oit
I cant find the kare somerville cream on the website
Speaking of Squalane...I'd love to know your thoughts about the Squalane-based brand, Biossance...don't know if it's in the UK but maybe on your next swing over to the States and Sephora (!!) Hope you visit Charleston SC one day, love you!
I’m curious of your opinion on how to care for scars on the face while maintaining a beauty regiment - should fresh scars be avoided with certain products?
Not really but obviously it depends on the scar and what caused it? X
Caroline, what does one need to be part of your fb group? I’ve been watching a couple of years, am in school for my LE and I’d love to learn more. Thanks! 🤗
Search ‘Caroline Hirons Skin Freaks’ on Facebook :)
Ok two things I need from this video- the Tata Harper cleanser AND that T shirt! Big Sur is one of my most favorite places on earth. I’m dying to know where you found that!
J Crew x
Thanks so much!
I remember I bought Emma Hardie cleansing balm travel size in a set of 3 before, now I can't find it anywhere anymore. If anyone knows where I can buy it, please help ~ :")
I went on Cult Beauty's website and saw a couple things from the inky list?? Do you know anything about that brand?? Thanks!!! 😉
Check my last videos ;)
@@CarolineHirons01 Thank you! 😉
I was underwhelmed by the Kypris cleanser too, plus I felt I had to use a lot more than they advised.
Same. x
How does the Indeed Labs squalane compare to the Inkey List one? Live your vids 😘 xx
