I do hope the issues with the autoloader and its related servo and belt issues are fixed soon. The Bohdana is already leading the way for the transition from towed artillery to mobile artillery, wheeled or otherwise.
With all Ukraine has designed, built and produced in country during this war, I see a bright future for the Ukraine defense industry after the war. Move over Germany, there’s a new player in town! Even while the war goes on, I often sit and imagine what Ukraine will look like after the war and when it’s joined the EU and NATO!! I see a thriving defense industry, lots of startups, HUGE tourism industry because now, everyone in the world knows about Ukraine and where it is. I think battlefield tours will be very popular; Bakhmut, Avdivka, Bucharest and Kherson just to name a few. There are a lot of people like me who watch battlefield reports and human interest stories every day who can’t wait no just to see the Battlefields BUT especially to meet and talk to the amazing, strong and brave people of Ukraine!
That’s awesome good to see the Ukrainians producing some excellent war equipment. Those armored trucks are bad ass to good solid Ukrainian built . My dad n mom are from Ukraine left after ww2 so it’s my blood line
Awesome video. That region of the world is my ancestral homeland and I'm following your progress very closely. I'm very proud of you for building your brand new artillery system. Thank you for sharing the update and best wishes for total victory 😊
Hopefully more allied support will be allocated to Ukrainian weapons factories - their system would be priced competitively, it would help them ramp production and it would be cheaper in the long run since Ukraine can arm itself after the war.
A country that innovates and builds weapons with limited resources in a war time from a so called World power such as Russia. Ukraine is definitely showing other countries how it is done under dire needs and limitations. May the power be with Ukraine.
Amazing only 500.000 dead and amost one million wounded, armchair Generals keep waging the war and War Monger and Idolize Ukranian Army from the safety of your home …
With the Bohdana going through it's first test firing in 2019, it's incredibly fortunate they decided on it firing 155 NATO 2 years prior. Perhaps Ukraine knew Russia was inevitably going to invade and would need help from NATO if they wanted to stand a chance against them. That would mean they would need a howitzer that was going to be compatible with NATO munitions. Whomever made that decision deserves one hell of a raise because that's some serious planning ahead of time.
155 size ammo is the largest # in the world markets and actually one of least expensive. To build a manufacturing facility at time of developement would of been very expensive. One must remember Ukraines military and political leadership were if not equalyy but more corrupt than was Russia.
120 systems a year thats very good production given they have a dozen countries sending them artillery systems on top of that.... its just the shell production is what they need now... Sweeden, Germany and the U.S have stepped up there Shell production for Ukraine so they should be ok, the best system they have tho is the French Caesar howitzer it loads itself Automatically so Ukraine doesnt need a team of 5 men per system they only need 3 men with the Caesar huge differance France should be sending 100 of those Caesar systems to Ukraine a year. Would free up alot of man power almost an entire batallion they would be able to free up
In 1939 Britain produced about 500 artillery guns of all types. In 1940 that had increased to 4000 per year. In 1941 it was about 16,000 1943 40,000 per year In two years production had increased 30 fold from a base of 500.
WIth all the amazing drone tech AFU have created just need to add those electronics and control to improve and speed up the fire control and learn from the Archer.
Watching the production move quickly to better numbers is something the NATO countries can't achieve. Well done Ukraine! These look like the accuracy of the teams is growing every day, taking initiative. Drones have given Ukraine eyes where aircraft should have been, but the Ukranian military forces, the people have quickly learned how to make their own. More support for Ukraine WILL save lives, ensure other European countries are not fighting for their lives.
Ukraine needs more of these especially now they are on the defense. This will make them less reliant on foreign aid which are less reliable and nobody knows when they will come. This is tragic.
As a Swede it's not Archer, but if you produce 10 of these per month... Holy cow... That is just awesome! I had no clue you had the Excalibur round... No restrictions, just push and push!

Considering Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014... They kinda knew all they needed to know from that point on.
