I agree with everything you said, I'd add the devs being scum, they false banned people, even those who bought duped items on the market who didn't know they were duped, the battlepass being soft locked to lv 50 and showed lvl 100 as if players can actually get to it, and in the newest update they removed items in the battle pass that was already bought by players
The CCU dropped because the game is semi-open to mobile , (only AFK room). and since 75% of Roblox players are mobile, a big portion of the release CCU couldn’t fully play the game, which caused the big drop.
I think for me y it failed is bc it claimed to b an open world game but failed at it. Big map with nothing but mobs and no incentive to explore. The only thing to do is the main story, which isn't that fun tbh. Combat is pretty meh. Models look amazing, but the enemy/boss AI seemed a little lacking. It needed to be more immersive but failed at it, honestly.
The thing is, people overhyping a game can kill it. Ofc, this is not dead. But expecting too much of a game, only to be let down when it releases, can def make people quit and the negative reviews will make new players leave before they even try.

PvE in Devas can very much be a boring grind fest, but the PvP is a godsend. Whish it had a more active player base, though; hopefully some players will return when they add more variation with new weapons.
they nerf too much without reason -nerf mage build damage (mage barely do any damage pve and pvp but they keep nerf them like they told you to do hunter only), -nerf faction buff (you have to use robux to change to different faction to get the better buff now that the buff got nerf) Crafting take forever to do like why it required every single material existed and why it can just fail like the game giving you the middle finger for not buying their stuff to increase the luck craft Last problem is mob don't drop after certain level so because the stupid crafting that need all the item existed, you HAVE to buy the item and the price is insane high so after full level and fail crafting twice the end game staff. i quit

@ You can make an MMO without it being a bandit beater. Degas has been working on improving their bandit beater aspects. If you’ve beat devas, you’d have fought enemies like the ogre brotherhood hunters or lord veto elm. I think more enemies should be like them, they have actual abilities, can parry properly and pose a threat to you. Now, even if the combat was good the drop chances are really low so nobody would want to grind, to fix this make each enemy and especially bosses more rewarding. Arcane odyssey in my opinion is better, it has a good story, amazing lore, fun mechanics and a lot of options. AO is part of a popular trilogy of games and its world has been built up over many years now. It has a very nice art style and it’s very unique. Devas has about as much character as a school drama. Every single enemy in the game are models they have bought off the unity store. If you don’t believe me, look up n-hance studios on the unity store. Devas has a boring story that just feels like it’s there to bloat out the game and as of lore we don’t know so presumably they don’t even have lore and if they do it must be basic considering they don’t have unique enemies. So, basically the entire devas team are scripters, and if they aren’t making their own models why did the game and updates take so long? Greed.

Despite ao not even bring fully released, it has much more content than devas. This includes a solid storyline, ship building, ship battles, finding randomly generated treasure through randomly generated clues, going into the “dark sea” which is a dangerous sea with infinite randomly generated islands and ghost ships offering unique awards with high risk, bounty hunting, a rival system where you can hunt a npc from a bounty board, in which this npc can become your rival becoming stronger each time you hunt him and following you into servers, and alot more. Combat wise i’d say its subjective. If we’re talking purely pve arcane odyssey takes it easily, but pvp im not sure. In terms of build diversity arcane odyssey easily takes the cake. In the video you saw the guy imbuing weapons with lightning, in another clip he was imbuing magma into his fighting style. Theres alot more. theres a lot more I can get into but realistically, if you strip devas of its excellent graphics, its very bare bones as a rpg and doesnt bring anything innovative to the platform, which is exactly why it’s player count is so low and why arcane odyssey, despite its very slow updates, always beats it in playercount
the first 2 minutes of the clip are real, then you started to deviate from my opinion, I'm playing devas, I have lvl 75 and I'm completing this update, the game is much easier now you can evolve in lvl much easier, you can get a quick mount, the whole clip you insulted the address . the game like (there aren't enough weapons or something like that) I played many new mmorpgs on PC and they all had the same weapons, a skill tree and weapons such as staff(heal,ice,fire) bow sword axe dagger and hammer
they took heavy insperation from new world i can see it in the game witch is why there are only three abilitys but you can use two weapons at the same time i think its amazing that way and not like blox fruits were u only have a few abilitys that you cant swap out at any time

Devas has a boring story that just feels like it’s there to bloat out the game and as of lore we don’t know so presumably they don’t even have lore and if they do it must be basic considering they don’t have unique enemies.
So, basically the entire devas team are scripters, and if they aren’t making their own models why did the game and updates take so long? Greed.
@@ExcaliburHolder123Well for one, arcane odyssey is much more f2p. Theres little to nothing u can use to gain an advantage with robux on arcane odyssey. Despite ao not even bring fully released, it has much more content than devas. This includes a solid storyline, ship building, ship battles, finding randomly generated treasure through randomly generated clues, going into the “dark sea” which is a dangerous sea with infinite randomly generated islands and ghost ships offering unique awards with high risk, bounty hunting, a rival system where you can hunt a npc from a bounty board, in which this npc can become your rival becoming stronger each time you hunt him and following you into servers, and alot more.
Combat wise i’d say its subjective. If we’re talking purely pve arcane odyssey takes it easily, but pvp im not sure.
In terms of build diversity arcane odyssey easily takes the cake. In the video you saw the guy imbuing weapons with lightning, in another clip he was imbuing magma into his fighting style. Theres alot more.
theres a lot more I can get into but realistically, if you strip devas of its excellent graphics, its very bare bones as a rpg and doesnt bring anything innovative to the platform, which is exactly why it’s player count is so low and why arcane odyssey, despite its very slow updates, always beats it in playercount

the first 2 minutes of the clip are real, then you started to deviate from my opinion, I'm playing devas, I have lvl 75 and I'm completing this update, the game is much easier now you can evolve in lvl much easier, you can get a quick mount, the whole clip you insulted the address . the game like (there aren't enough weapons or something like that) I played many new mmorpgs on PC and they all had the same weapons, a skill tree and weapons such as staff(heal,ice,fire) bow sword axe dagger and hammer

they took heavy insperation from new world i can see it in the game witch is why there are only three abilitys but you can use two weapons at the same time i think its amazing that way and not like blox fruits were u only have a few abilitys that you cant swap out at any time

But yer this game could have been amazing if they’d drop this update a month after releasing the game, the games to far dead now and all the older players from launch have lost complete faith in this dev team.
