When people decided I was wicked and evil and conniving and not a good person, that was the one that I couldn’t really bounce back from cause my whole life was centered around it. TaylorSwiftIsOverParty,, was the number one trend on Twitter worldwide. Do you know how many people have to be tweeting that they hate you for that to happen? We’re people who got into this line of work because we wanted people to like us, because we were intrinsically insecure, because we liked the sound of people clapping, because it made us forget how much we feel like we’re not good enough and I’ve been doing this for 15 years and it’s just...I’m tired of it... It just feels like it’s more than music now at this point and most days, I’m like, okay. But then sometimes, I’m just like - it just gets loud sometimes. When people fall out of love with you, there's nothing you can do to make them change their mind. They just don't love you anymore. I just wanted to disappear. Nobody physically saw me for a year and that was what I thought they wanted.

The world doesn’t owe her anything. It’s the media who turned on her and TMZ escalated this to have a story to tell. They’re the ones who owe her an apology, and while they’re at it, they should apologize to Britney Spears too.
Besides, life is NOT easy for any celebrity, actors, etc. when you choose to be famous and sign a record deal, this is the price you pay!

@@amylee8969 I think it's just that she talks about her haters openly because being vulnerable is part of her "brand". There are other celebrities who get a lot of hate and probably don't like it any more than Taylor does, but we never hear their feelings about it because they keep it to themselves for reasons of "professionalism".

No. It wasn't "one day". And despite the real, entire video being leaked, many people still believed Taylor did something wrong. What's more, their actions absolutely DID have something to do with her career. Because they devastated her. It took her a year to get past what they'd done, and how people perceived her. Because unlike so many celebrities, and ordinary people, her character is a very real, and important part of her. So having people believe that she was a "lying snake" as kim kartrashian called her, was probably the worst point in her life.
But she decided to lean into their lies, and came out swinging. Her "Reputation Tour" put Krazye, kartrashian, Perry, and the rest of her detractors on blast. And I couldn't have been prouder if she was my own daughter. As she says in her song, they'll all get theirs. Some of them already have. And will continue to. And that knowledge brings a happy tear to my eye.

And it DID damage her career. Until she leaned into it. And then the full version of that video "leaked". But she's learned an invaluable lesson. Never trust people you don't actually KNOW. And while you may forgive, never, EVER forget. After Krazye stormed the stage when she won best music video at 19, she should never have trusted him again. And really, she should never have trusted kim kartrashian. Everybody with any morals at all should stay away from kk and her family. After all, that whole family parlayed a trashy home porno staring kk into a reality series, and from there, into wealth and fame - with more trashy behavior. I'm just glad she came back, and has shown them all just who she really is.
