I bought the sets 1/4 and 3/8 shallow, semi deep, and deep. They are the tightest fitting sockets hands down I love these sockets. Worth every penny
Love mine. Not for an everyday go to tho. I just use them on stripped stuff. Too stiff to get on and off constantly.
Not an everyday socket, they fit so tight they can be hard to get off the fastener. Worse if there’s any rust on the fastener. These are fantastic though when the fastener is starting to round or if you need a little more “bite” when torquing a fastener. The step on the outside of the socket for gripping to pull the socket off your ratchet is AWESOME! I want that feature and the large engraved number for socket size in regular sockets. I would trade in all my other sockets for that!
Work great on northstar v8 cam bearing caps they use a short head 10 mm bolt on those my Mac edge and regular snap on set would not grab it only time I use them is for fasteners like that they fit to tight to use them every day imo
I always preferred non-polished finishing and traction profile with the knurling of my German Hazet sockets compared to highly polished Snap-on and Proto sockets.
It is hard to get Hazet if you live on Canada's West Coast so I started buying Snap-on and Proto tools. Snap-on Flank Drive sockets, Snap-on Flank Drive 6-point combination wrenches, and Snap-onFlank Drive Flare Nut wrenches are the best. (Proto also makes high-quality 6-point wrenches)
I love these new Snap-on Flank Drive Xtra sockets.
I bought a set and sold it shortly after. The rusted, rounded, damaged fasteners they were designed for, i couldn't get them on or off reliably. So now i just run my flank drives and a set of bolt biters if i need. They just didn't fit in my world
Don't get me wrong, Snap-on make some products that are extortionate with their price for what you're buying but these sockets work. Of course any brand and especially Snap-on love their gimmicks to make something sound more appealing to the consumer however these sockets truly do what they say on the tin.
Do those socket holders come with when you Order them?
Nooooooopeeee.
Yes, mine did
Do they make them in impact sockets

Just chrome
O yeah those are nice I gotta get me some
Excellent
Not an everyday socket ... Sockets work good on rounded bolts
I've been using them since they first became available and they are great until until they won't fit. They are so tight that they won't fit grease zerks, Bendix disk brake shear nuts, rusty bolts, etc. If your using them on a new bolt then they are great but I've had many times that I had to use a non fdx because these are too tight. That's something to consider before you trade in all your sockets for fdx.
Lee Alcorn I typically use my every day sockets and when I think shits about to hit the fan or it already has, I’ll use these sockets. I know they’re meant for every day use but they’re so damn tight that it’s more of a pain than anything.
Do they come as impact sockets as well or just chrome ?

Just chrome
like the "snappy" beats intro if you turn on closed captions lol
Great sockets.... The 11mm does not work on 11mm boots or nuts, don't understand that.
Sometimes it’s too tight and the bolt gets stuck in the socket.
Tiger Eye better then stripping the head or nut
Great improvement 💪
But still I consider that the Super Lock sockets design are best the best ones
Anyway , you guys rock with lots of things
Keep it up the great work
just buy the few sizes you often use. no need for a full set
Not if your a tech
@@linkstale tell me the last time you used every single socket on your rail
Chodda I don’t remember but you can never be too sure. What if one day a 1975 f150 comes by and you don’t have that one socket you need and then you tell your service manager you can fix the car and then the customer complains and then you get fired

I love snapon... but I have to buy socket rails seperate ! Boooo
2nd to None
4 percent less rotation? Give me a break! Another gimmick!
For the guy that changes his oil and can’t afford good tools? Maybe, but the professionals say otherwise look at the actual hands on reviews,
Not the ignorance
You are more of a HOBO Freight kind of customer.
