    Been using a used 2014 i20 sportz since 2016. From past 2 years we been thinking about upgrading to another car but never did it because the i20 been flawless so far. It still looks sporty and stylish compared to the current hatchbacks. Truly a classic design. It can pull 150km/h on highways like a breeze. Don't know if there's any better upgrade currently under 8 lakhs.

      nothing under 8 lakhs can match your car 😅

      Hang on to it buddy. Within 8L, nothing can match this package.
      Yes, you can of course go with a used premium car, but Maintenance costs and peace of mind will exit your life xD

    Excellent review, yes the second gen i20 is the best looking car and the latest one i .e., the third gen is the worst looking car. I've seen your review about Skoda Laura too. I'm a bit confused whether to buy a used Laura or 2nd gen i20, I do a lot of highway driving too. Your reviews are good and I've subscribed your channel 👍

      Hi, thanks man! Personally, it will depend on you budget and requirement. Please DM me on IG to discuss more :-)
      In a nut-shell, the Laura is great, but will need more maintenance. The i20 will be reliable and feature laden, but will not be near as stable as the Laura / any other VAG car

    Dual airbag was offered only on top variant by Hyundai, which is shame on manufacturers who are able to sell so well

    It doesn't have good ride quality 😕 😔 😪. The rear seat passenger gets bounced around and thrown around while going over speedbreakers and potholes and hairpin bends and corners in ghats. Suspension is too soft at the rear . About steering I would say it weighs up a little bit but not as much as Polo or swift . It's not completely lifeless at high speeds like the previous gen i20 because from 2015 onwards Hyundai really started working towards improving steering feedback at high speeds and stiffening the Suspension of their cars .This car came in 2015 actually. We have it in our family. Its a damn good sporty looking hatchback, Almost European in the looks department especially for the interiors. The rear legroom is almost as good as old entry level sedans, not the sub 4metre ones .Great comfortable car for long drives also as long as the roads are good and devoid of speedbreakers. I literally put on my seatbelts when I am going on a long drive in that car even on the rear seat .

    We have tested driven both the vw vento 1.6 more, and the rapid diesel, we felt that the noise of the engine is really noisy and also the performance of the engine is bad, my dad drove the rapid diesel and telling it is as worse as driving a tractor no performance no pickup and only noise, is that really the case with vento and rapid diesel or the cars we are seeing in used market are trash?

    • @JRSCars
      @JRSCars  3 года назад

      What were the odometer readings? Did the cars have good service records?
      I've driven the Vento/Rapid 1.6 TDI's and the engine is punchy. Refinement is not great, but the engine is really torquey.
      Check out low mileage examples for the pure feel :-)
