When Adam said that Somebody to Love was his favourite song and Roger said that it was Freddie’s favourite too you could see the sadness but joy that Freddie’s memories where being lived on through another person 😭
No one could ever replace Freddie but Adam has one of the best voices I’ve heard in the past 50 years and Brian & Roger knew exactly what they were doing when the asked him to front Queen. His vocal range is incredible and when he sings rock music he’s untouchable.

Loved Adam the moment he hit the American idol stage. Nobody thinks Freddie is replaceable, but Adam is the perfect lead singer to let Queen share their music again. I'm happy for the collaboration and that they gave each other a chance.
Brian has said repeatedly that John approves of Adam and the tours. He wants to stay home but is good with the other 2 doing their thing.
When Adam was on idol and Queen made a guest appearance and Adam had the privilege to sing with them for the first time, the look on their faces when Adam began singing was amazement at his performance. That's where it all began...They were lucky! Adam was too! They're so great!
And isn't it ironic that Adam sang Bohemian Rhapsody at his audition! Now he tours with Queen, unreal.
I know, I don't understand some of the people who are so negative about this. It is truly a gift for all of us to be able to hear these songs live again .. and also for them to be able to play them. I am 66 years old. I know for a fact that those who criticize are young. When they are old, they will understand.
Totally agree! Queen became a band the year after I graduated high school. I loved them with Freddie. On the season Finale of Idol the year Adam was a contestant, when he sang with Queen, you could see it on the their faces how amazed they were. I wasn't surprised at all that they asked him to tour with them. They do an incredible tribute to Freddie during the shows to pay their respects to him. I, for one, am glad they chose to do the shows with Adam. Their music is incredible.
yeah you are right, sir. We should be thankful for that dude for bringing the Queen back on stage. I didn't have the opportunity to see the original Queen members on a live performance because, I was born late. I am hoping to see them live here in Philippines. I want to experience that kind of magic.

i hate that people think adam is trying to replace freddie. he’s clearly not, he knows he isn’t freddie, but without him, they wouldn’t have been able to tour again.
It's recipriocal, without Adam, Queen wouldn't have been on the road again, Same goes for Adam, who gets the opportunity of a life time, to collaborate with 2 wizards from the golden era and to front a band like Queen whose music is woven into the fabric of global culture, a huge honour for Adam,

Adam Lambert has been singing Queens songs since 2011 to date. There are thousands singing QUEEN songs who were never chosen to front QUEEN...of course Adam Lambert earned the right.@christineeberth8280
I saw Queen+Adam Lambert in 2014 and I went in a bit skeptical as to what it would sound like. It didn't take long for me to realize that Adam could sing the songs and sing them well. Obviously there's only one Freddie Mercury, but Adam does the songs justice. I also love his stage presence which has hints of Freddie, but make no mistake Adam is his own frontman. Brian and Roger still sound amazing and the show has a definite Queen vibe to it. I never got the chance to see Queen live, but I'm so happy I went to this show. It's something I'll never forget.
You should see them in 2017 now, it's even better.

Queen is amazing. For obvious reasons, Queen with Freddie will not return. But we have a Queen with Brian and Roger. These two great personalities with their extraordinary talent and skills. I thank them with all my heart that they still want to be with us . How nice to see Rufus and enjoy the passion and talent inherited from his dad. And of course, Adam is a real treasure. He doesn't pretend Freddie. He has a wonderful voice and co-creates today's Queen. Thank you Adam. :)
Adam will never replace Freddie but he is good in his own right and since its the real Queen doing the tribute band act ;) I cant relay argue they have certainly earned it.

The people who followed Adam Lambert on American Idol, can't help but feel happy for his accomplishments ever since. He really proved himself on that journey, and the show has never been the same after him, it started dropping in popularity because no other contestant seems at all interesting since.
Never again did I watch Idol after ADAM - but followed his success and I have never been so proud of an entertainer as when he started touring with Queen. It felt he got a total reward, recognition he so deserves. Also something about Adam personally is so seductive- his voice, his looks, his personality ….this is coming from an opera loving grandma :)
I have no words to describe how I feel proud having Adam as Queen's singer. I've been at Rock in Rio Brasil's concert and it was absolutely stupendous. I'm counting the days to see them back in my country. What a concert! Long live for Queen!

Freddie's spirit is still alive with Queen and part of him has linked with Adam. Yet I yearn for new Queen & Adam Lambert music. So wish they would record an album together.

I think that Adam Lambert is a good addition to Queen (note, I said "addition" not "replacement"). Reason being, he's very similar to Freddie in a lot of ways, especially in his stage presence, so he can empathize more with the band in the way that they're used to and it helps them to do their best job while he does his best job. He also brings the band into the modern era and as long as Roger and Brian are into it, they should go for it. If Freddie taught us anything, it's that we don't live forever, so while they're living they feel that this is what they should do, and the rest of us should respect their vision. They know that they aren't living in the same generation anymore, so they aren't trying to recreate the past, they're happy just to keep spreading Freddie's music in order to keep his memory alive and Adam is helping them do so.
Rock on Queen! Think of all the new generation discovering Queen. Freddie sang "the show must go on" and I'll bet he's smiling at that

Freddie would LOVE Adam!! I think he has been watching from Heaven for someone to step up and nail the frontman spot for Queen for all these years. George Michael did a great job but couldn't have become a permanent frontman. Adam Lambert has just been able to step into some big shoes and DO IT!!! OK he isn't Freddie-NO-ONE could replace him,of course, but it is good to have Adam who has embraced the role, and can sing and perform.He has got better and more confident as time has gone by, and long may he continue! I saw Queen back in 1974 in Manchester and loved them ever since.So don't anyone tell me I am talking tosh!! The King is dead.Long live the Queen! I am so glad they are continuing to tour with Adam. I went to the concert in Toronto a little while back and I felt like he was really channeling Freddie but at the same time, he was Adam just being amazing! I'd go see them again in a heartbeat! come back to Toronto!

Because he only mentions that People still enjoy the Music and that he sees all that happy faces, but he never mentioned that so many People enquate them like a beloved familiy member, who has always been there through the Music when nobbody else was, and how many exceptional happy filled Moments they gave us..

I think you are right in your thoughts. They maybe such Perfectionist in Music Buisness, that they just see it as their Job and nothing else, but I would really like to let them know the fact, that they mean a lot to many fans, even if the audience got smaller, but those of us who are still Faithfull with them do Count and love the Boys for every Moment they gave us.Thank you very much:) but I think that will be very hard to let the Boys know that. Brian is much to busy, I think. But I really would like to tell them, before it would be to late....:((

+Yummy Sounds I know that it wouldn't be quite the same without Freddie and Deacy. I think that John was a lot more important of a band member than most give him credit for. The one that was a stabilizing force for all of those creative minds. I was more saying that from the standpoint of an artist. That artistic fire in both Brian and Roger with Adam in the mix has to be put to use at some point.

Joseth, New music would be amazing! Queen + Adam have been performing worldwide for over a decade now, and have phenomenal chemistry onstage. Many fans are eagerly awaiting for collaboration on new songs.

Why don't people get it that Freddie would not want a copy or impersonation. He didn't even like singing songs live exactly as they were recorded. Jeezus. The Marc Martel fans needs to quit trolling these vids. Obviously Brian & Roger chose Adam over Marc so you just need to get over it. Ain't gonna happen. Marc is an impersonator and a pretty darn good one but he couldn't do a 2.5 hour show singing all these songs. I love how Brian and Roger are so vocal about their appreciation for Adam and likewise. I am so happy to see the excitement brewing for this amazing collaboration. Europeans who get to witness this perfection are so lucky. I saw QAL in Dallas and it was hands down, the best ROCK concert I have ever been to. Keep on rocking Queen + Adam Lambert!!!
They say Marc is 'better'... Better in what sense? Copying, because he sounds exactly like Freddie, down to every nuance and phrasing, even gesturing. He does them the same way Freddie did them. They love it cos he's closest sounding to Freddie they will ever get. Goodness, where is the artist's 'own artistry'? When I watch Marc's Killer Queen, I find his movements so distracting because it's like at this verse, I have to stand here, at this next verse, I stand here... It's unnatural and there's no flair... Come Show Must Go On, and there's this worried look on his face that made me feel worried whether he could hit the highest notes on the song... And then he strains and barely pulls through or at worst, he goes out of tune... Sigh... Brian n Roger are not their own tribute band and they are not performing in Vegas. They love Adam because they are thrilled with his 'interpretation' (rather than impersonation) so much so that it kicked them to give this another go. Because there're so many similarities between Adam and Freddie, Adam can do it his way and it will come off natural. Brian and Roger have said that often, backstage, when they look at Adam and think of Freddie, they feel like nothing has changed. They have a good eye for someone 'extra'ordinary, after all, they 'found' Freddie. Now, they found Adam. If people still don't believe Adam is the best fit, the proof is in the success of the concerts. Q+PR died a natural death. Q+AL just get bigger and bigger and stronger than anything they have done since Freddie!

As Freddie claimed it, they, [Queen] truly are champions! To Sir Roger and Sir Brian who still have the same enthusiasm to entertain and to Sir John who chose to be private: we fans still have the same high respects for them.

I'm so glad they didn't leave Queen behind once Freddie passed. Adam embodies so much of Freddie but in a way that he doesn't replace Freddie or try to be better than Freddie, he goes out there and performs in those outfits to let everyone one know that Freddie is still there with Adam and I'm sure that Bryan and Roger while playing look at Adam and can visualise Freddie.

If Freddie were here, his loving band brothers would have never replaced him. But he is not here and this timeless music goes on. Adam was the perfect choice to make that happen. I wouldn't compare their talent. Both incredible. I am always for the original artist if he were still here. I love Adam's talent and persona. Saw them live 2 summers ago. it was incredible.
