  • Today we've got something pretty cool on our hands - a versatile little gadget - Flextail Tiny Pump 2X that acts as both a portable pump and a flashlight. Let us tell you that we've had a lot of experience and our fair share of struggles with inflating sleeping pads and pillows the old-fashioned way and trust us it is not the greatest idea. We ended up ruining our gear over time - with moss growing up inside, materials leaking, and let's not even talk about the whole patching-up process that with the multiple holes becomes impractical. So we've looked at this little pump as a saviour when we first came across it and we are more than excited to share with you know all the things we learnt about it after doing some testing in the field.
We found out that this Flextail Tiny Pump 2X is great for inflating the sleeping pads and pillows and it is powerful enough. It can also deflate your camping gear effectively and take no space in your backpack without weighing you down.

We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.
We speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so don't hesitate to address to us in your native language.

I have been using a small Coleman air pump that's probably double the size and weight of the one you have. It works great - also works brilliant at blowing oxygen into a campfire. It blows up my twin size air bed that's almost 8" thick, in well under a minute.
I don't backpack, I travel by motorcycle most often, so weight & size aren't a huge consideration. But something that can do the same job with much less size & weight and can recharge with a usb, might make it time to switch to the one you have.
      Thanks for the video.

@@theeaselrider4032 Thanks for the comment and sharing your gear. Coleman is a well established brand and can imagine that it should be of a good quality too. This piece is amazing, we discovered it just recently, how we could not know about it before!? So versatile for many occasions when camping, as you mentioned its use for the wood stove or campfire. Sure when travelling on motorcycle you aren't that concerned about the weight but still it may nice to cut down a bit especially if you like those other features. We ourselves want to try the motorcycle travel soon as it seems to give so much freedom😀What motorcycle do you have? And how long have you been doing it?

@@WalkingNatureWorld No, there was a pump before that which was advertised a lot and the one you have is better.

@@chrisgibson2328 Cool to know! As we haven't found any solid disadvantages in it.

Well, a big question how many inflate cycles of avg. pad this thing can do on one charge.

Okey. I've found a real-life test. A guy managed to inflate Thermarest Neoair mat 14 times on one charge.

That sounds great! Thanks for leaving a comment and sharing useful info👌🏻 We haven't tried any other ones before but we guess it is not a bad result.
