- Tonight, we explore in the shadows as the locations we are visiting this time are in suburban America, tucked away in pleasant neighborhoods. We will use the darkness of nightfall to successfully explore these hidden homes without being seen. Our friend Esmae will be touring us to both locations with potential dark pasts, one is the result of a family member passing away and the second is one of drugs and crime. If you enjoy leave a thumbs up and subscribe for more abandoned videos. and have a good day~!

Bodies don’t decompose and start oozing within hours as she said. From the look of that stain it’s bodily fluids for sure. The body could have been decomposing up to a week or more before it was found. Some one commented the body loses bodily functions when a person dies but I found that to happen very infrequently when I did body removals. Of course if this person was dead there up to a week that’s what could have been under that pad but not at the bottom.
Somebody watched Spaulding Decon!
My cousin died recently a d was found less than 2 days after and there was bodily fluid already seeping
Bodies can leak after a few days. Depends on temperature, cause of death, health of deceased. It agreed, not hours lol
A body produces a lot more liquid then that small spot. It's more likely to be a leak in the ceiling.
Scottish Queen u rite
That isn’t meth in that bottle you guys found, that’s medicine to treat urinary tract infections. Crystal meth isn’t a drug you can get bottled samples of/prescribed by a doctor.
Yeah that girl was really annoying in this video lmao
@@violetj9229 "what are you guys scared?" about breathing in mold was really dumb lol

Mwaggiebear So dang rite
As a hospice nurse, no, those aren’t blood stained from a body that laid there for only a few hours, unless they were injured/ bled out/ etc. they don’t decompose within hours, she needs some fact checking 😃
I was explaining regarding conditions of heat/ cold but certainly not in a couple hour's.
A body starts to rot before it dies.... I’m a nurse too and there is a certain smell that a very sickly patient who is close to expiring emits.... and they often evacuate their bowels and seep bodily fluids shortly after passing
First thing I thought. That kind of thing happens after weeks and months, not hours, that is certain.
Yea but ur bowels let loose when u die
If it is hot enough and humid enough, decomposition can accelerate to a few days. Especially if there's no AC, no air flow, all windows shut etc. Now I'm not saying you'll see a skeleton after a week, but a you'll start the process and shed liquids much faster.
She's very wrong about it happening within hours.
Nancy Gonzalez yep
Yes. I’m a nurse. Doesn’t happen like that😁
Courtney Wright wat happen thir
"Are those ashes" it is clearly DIRT. Even looks like topsoil from a bag
She's very wrong about a lot of things!
The young lady who is talking like she knows so much is actually clueless she is wrong about so many things seems to be just making things up as she goes along.
Cindy, she went to college! Didn't you notice the hair?
Yea like when she said the fat melts hours after you die, I was like ummm honey no. It takes way longer than that.
How are you going to claim someone is wrong without elaborating? If her stories are inaccurate, why don't you enlighten us with the facts? Oh that's right, cuz you don't know either. I think there's a word for that..
@@chrisjeter9410 Chris, leave out a piece of meat for 6 hours and see if this fat dissolves/melts..
@@chrisjeter9410 If you think someone is so wrong, there is a little thing called Google. Very easy to use and you will see that the woman in the video is very wrong. If you don't know how to use Google I'm sure there's a word for that.
First house: "Yeah like I think these stains are from a dead body" *completely ignores the water damage from the obvs leaky roof everywhere else in the place*
The dirt is probably a spill absorber. Like it's possible someone died but it's also possible all of this came from one of the many wet spots on the ceiling.
exactly 💯
The "guide" seems to making stuff up because she has no clue what really happened in these houses

A body don't rot within a few hours. of death.
right lmao i looked at her like “okay lady sit down” just cause you’re alt doesn’t mean you’re a mortician lmaooo
if there had been a dead body in there it would still stink
Lilith Jade was about to say. Lol
Post Mortem juices. When people die and are left for a while they start to break down and they will start to decay and smell. If there was a body in there it would still have a post mortem decompostion smell. It is a smell I cant explain but it doesn't leave you once you smell it. It becomes part of your memory. I worked in Emergency medicine and have delt with plenty of patients that have passed. Not to mention picking up the bodies for funeral home that was odd.
Right! I was like wtf... no they don't!
Oh also if a house has to be abandoned because of mold, you have to leave practically EVERYTHING to avoid carrying mold spores with you to another place to live. Certain types of mold can cause irreversible neurological damage, which is why you should have a N95 mask or respirator to go into abandoned places.
Actually those fluid leakages on the bed and bathroom floor look like remnants of a home birth. In a planned home birth, usually one prepares the bed with a hospital sheet, chux, or a layer of newspapers under a clean, old sheet that can be disposed. If the baby died, it's possible the family moved out to either not have the sad memories or to evade being charged with neglect by authorities. Pregnancy would explain the BP log also, as elevated BP is a sign of pre-eclampsia that would necessitate immediate delivery.
I agree
Inkshot Nikki yep
Ever heard of a leaky roof?
Occam's razor
Maybe it was squatters and then maybe after the unplanned preeclamptic home birth they sold meth out of it....I dont know? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, but if she had preeclampsia she would not have had home birth. Unless she did so against medical advice which is possible.
I never knew a dealer to be so kind as to LABEL their drugs so specifically and like a legitimate pharmacist . 🙄 It was just a bundle of misinformation in this video. Also, maybe sound out the words on the PRESCRIPTION bottle next time.
24-72 hours after death, the internal organs decompose. 3-5 days after death the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose. 8-10 days after death the body turns from green to red as the blood decomposes and the organs in the abdomen accumulate gas. 10-20 days black putrefaction occurs, which is when noxious odors are released from the body and the parts of the body undergo a black discoloration. The abdomen is now bloated from the internal gas pressure nearing maximum capacity, causing organs and cavities to burst. And after 4 weeks internal organs begin to liquefy and the face becomes unrecognizable. Soon after, the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments degrade exposing the skeleton. Depending on the conditions where and how the person died, they can either decompose rapidly or slowly. Whoever died in that bed was probably there for a few weeks or longer before they were discovered.
My dad found my aunt the day after she passed. He told me her skin had turned black. He thought this was because she was a smoker. Is it possible a smoker's body turns black more quickly?
@@cjgem80 Not really sure.

definitely a video to watch muted. Anytime someone professes to know so much about a topic (especially medical) and proceeds to incorrectly state what is known fact makes me cringe instantly.
When bodies decompose, they release their bowels/bladder. That is the only stain that would happen immediately within hours.
It varies based on factors like physical condition, temperature, etc. But bodies generally do not produce decomposition fluids until days after, the soonest.
Realllllly misinformed and i have to agree with the others that perhaps she should stay home next time. Or at least not spread misinformation so matter of factly.
Part of why I enjoyed your content was the fact you were respectful and mostly chimed in about general observations of the areas you visited. Having Esmae talk about the "what-ifs" and wild speculation about the inhabitant of the first house was disappointing and frankly, infuriating. Aside from the incorrect information about decomposition and the processes the body goes through (some of which are universal like emptying of bowels, some are entirely determined by the environment and factors the body is exposed to), the idea that some Filipino person is emptying grave dirt onto a bed to "resurrect" someone is so unbelievably stupid. Most Filipinos are Roman Catholic and judging by the house's typical Roman Catholic Filipino decor, they were too. Trying to "spice up" the place someone died with some armchair coroner and anthropology lesson is so disgusting and aggravating.
I agree absolutely...I feel like I lost a lot of brain cells watching that.
She was talking rubbish, what a let down this was! I normally enjoy his explores but he has really dropped the standard bringing her along...especially when she announced at 10:21 she was "going to take that home with me".
Stupid people.
You are so right, but these are basically older teens or early 20’s. Haven’t learned much about life yet, and literally making stuff up as she went along.
So what was the dirt for?
@@104yearsago As others stated, it's probably just general decay from a bad roof or some speculated termites have gotten in. Or animals. No one's "putting grave dirt" there or any other nonsense Esmae was spouting.
I could not agree with you more. Kids going through other people's things and making up their own stories to go along with it. Go home children
That pile of sand-like substance on the bed may be caused by termites eating through the wooden beams right above it.
You're so young you don't know what a beanie baby is. Aww...I'm old.
I LOVE BEANIE BABIES🥳
That first house you visited was that of a Filipino American family, which you can tell by the flags on the ceiling in the first room and also the various catholic figurines and portraits of Jesus (most Filipinos are very religious). Also, the bedroom with the stains and dirt on the bed was probably that of the mother or grandmother, it looks like a room an eldery Filipina Lady was living in (I know this because my mother and grandmother have their rooms set up in a similar fashion and also have medication lying around everywhere), however I don't have an answer as to why there's dirt and stains on the bed other than someone possibly passing away there.
Lol
Ye true
It would be cool if you could provide the histories of the places you visit
METHENAMINE. It literally says it on the bottle. Meth doesn't come in liquid form in bottles from a pharmacy xD also if you have seen any of the "crime scene clean up" type videos, you'd doubt that stain was from putrification. I usually like your vids, but the nonsense chatter was a bit much in this one. Maybe leave Miss Blue at home next time? Stay safe!
In some states "crime scene clean up" is usually left to next of kin and not everyone elects to have it done. That's definitely a decomp stain.
Maybe it's methadone in a pill form
Methenamine- antibiotic used to treat kidney infections.

Lets get this on a tre
As an RN who has worked from ICU to med surg I’ve experienced death from peaceful passing to violent death (beaten to death by husband bleeding horribly and violently) we usually keep the bodies in the room hours after passing waiting for the family to say their goodbyes or get affairs in order due to us not having a legit morgue just a ten body freezer. We’ve never had any body leave marks like that even my violent deaths. If a body made a mark like that then it was there for a while and began to decay. The mark on the bed was probably due to water damage and mold 😁
Or birth. Or a miscarriage.

Incorrect, the adipose doesn't "melt" within hours of death. Decomp starts, but it takes a lot longer than hours for adipose tissue, or any tissue to leave stains on something just from decomposition. If there was bodily injury, yeah it could be blood, but it's likely not "melted fat".
I'm wondering if it might be urine.

Never take anything from abandon places
I noticed that too. But the golden rule of explorers is not to take anything from places they explore.
Well, they drank Champagne, salvaged from the wreck of "R.M.S Titanic", and got drunk as fuck :/ (1500 tragic deaths).. now, if you wake up, after a night like that, with no hangover at all, 2 the smell of bacon n eggs.. That is fucked up :o...

I know that when someone dies it's all biohazard, especially if they were there for more than a day, and has to be disposed of properly. They have people who specialize in cleaning houses after someone had died. Since this person was more than likely sick when they died, the chance of the body sitting there for too long is slim. ,
More than likely they died in a hospital. I doubt that's blood on the mattress.
Very beautiful pair of rosary beads and image of Jesus on the wall gorgeous
Here in CA the tweekers would have picked those houses like crazy
I think it makes it creepier when they leave everything behind.

Whoever died in that first home was there awhiilllllle. My uncle died in his hotel room, and because they didn't see him for about 3 weeks at the bar, so one of his fellow drunks called the cops worried about him, and lo and behold his body was such a mess they couldn't properly get him out without a horror movie scene clean up. He had been dead 2 weeks. Sooo she wasn't there just for "a couple hours." Though that is an ethnically Filipino home, and most Filipinos have a tradition of laying the body out for 9 days and having prayers/feasts/ even gambling around them, celebrating that person's life...so that's probably why there was a hospital sheet there, to keep the deceased body intact while they were laid out for that long. No clue why that dirt is there. Maybe parts of her decomposition was so rank, they covered it w/ that dirt to stop the smell after until they could leave. Who knows.
That lamp/phone is worth a small fortune!
Maybe the first house owners weren't travelers, a LOT of people have different places magnets on their fridge but because people gift them to you
The pile of stuff actually looks to me like termite 💩. I have a house I clean weekly and during that time the termites will leave these granules that pile up like that. For me it was a specific but still interesting exploration. First house is a extremely sad place of someone's death. I want to believe that somebody - looking at the objects in the house - had a good, interesting life, f.ex. travels (certainly better than death, because death in solitude... I don't think anyone would want). The second house is a large creepy dump. There's everything and nothing in this house.
Iphone 4S release date was 10-14-2011.
I don't know why people consider these abandon houses. Someone owns them still and if the cops catch you inside it's breaking and entering and burglary. It makes for a cool video though.
Trespassing at the least, and saying the window was already broken or the door was already kicked in isn't going to impress the cop too much... however unless a neighbor calls the police nobody is probably going to notice.
@@3mate1 - After years of going into such places, I can for sure say, somebody always notices. The idea is to get in, look, and get out fast.
