This is a pretty good solution to my urges to slap the water on the Three Caballeros ride after too much margarita. Also while I get the comments mentioning it should be in AK, I'm grateful they added a shady, cooling attraction to Epcot - which is notoriously a bit of a frying pan to walk across. This will be a treat for weathering that summer heat.
This is what I always loved about Epcot! Fun school! Epcot was always my favorite back in the 80s and 90s! I was crushed the last time I went and the pavilions I loved so much were all closed! This looks amazing and absolutely in line with the original feeling of Epcot! I hope the imagineers keep going in this direction!
I really like the fact that this is more of a throwback to the early days of Epcot when it wasn't about rides necessarily. Look forward to seeing it in February.
This feels very old school Epcot! For kids who think Epcot is boring, I think this will be great to give them a nice bit of fun. Not everything has to be a super thrill.
Nailed it in the opening statement. EPCOT was based on the World's Fair. Exhibiting the world of tomorrow. Edutainment. I miss Horizons, Universe of Energy, Communicore. Happily The Land has not changed too much. My favorite attractions at EPCOT will always be Living With the Land, and Spaceship Earth. Keep up the good work AJ and team 🥰
I love this because of how Epcot has aged. Epcot and it’s design around education , entertainment and fun all in one was surprisingly great but needed updating (stil love figment) great to see attractions like this in Epcot. I feel more like this linked to Elements some how as it plays to heritage of Epcot will help bring it to a modern day feel, nice work Disney. Very cool 👌
The jumping water is very EPCOT to me, and I remember the area outside Journey into Imagination (way back when) and the jumping water then! Loved that particular feature as a kid!
This looks great, and I think kids will absolutely love this. I’m definitely looking forward to experiencing it! 🎶 See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls meeeee 🎵
Disney should have added a Polynesian section to World Showcase celebrating the cultures of Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, etc and this would have fit in there perfectly.
There is not one palm tree in the attraction which is the first thing you think of when you imagine a Polynesian island, a world showcase area would be great but doubt the nations would have the money to sponsor it. Half of them will be underwater by the time Disney ever thought to do it as well!
Finally!!! Now, I can't wait for reveal the opening dates for Journey of Water Pavilion in World Nature at EPCOT, and along with all of these and more, which would be announced at Destination D23 2023 event on this Friday!!!
Can’t believe it takes Disney so long to complete projects that end up being lackluster anyways. Whilst Universal is building very possibly one of the best theme parks on the Planet in record time
I'm leaving a comment for the RUclips algorithm! You're closing in on a million subscribers. Yay!!!Thanks for all your fun, informative videos. It's nice for all of us Disney addicts :)
How much time do you think should be set aside to explore and go through it - Also - I assume the entrance is somewhere down by spaceship earth… Where does it come out at? the exit?
It’s not really that it’s “broken already” just that it’s not technically officially open yet, so they’re still working on parts of it. This video is documenting a test run of it, essentially.
@@derrekgillespie413Yes, my wife and I are going from September 8th through the 18th and we're just super sad that we're going to miss it by probably days, maybe weeks.... Oh well
How is this controlled? Like do we go in with a small group or is it just a bunch of people walking through (kind of like a zoo?) or is this like an actual scan you magic band attraction. I really like it! But I’m trying to understand if it’s even worth it if it’s just a ton of people in there and no crowd control.
Why is Moana in Epcot? Universal is building a brand new theme park with a capital THEME and Disney is excited about water sprinklers that took forever to build? Sad.
I feel like it should be a joint Moana /Olaf ride tbh lol (Water has memory) l. My tween kids will love this - they love all the world Nature etc areas and the low key edutainment stuff
After reading comments on other disney vlog youtube channels, this is very disappointing. EPIC UNIVERSE is being built and its going to be EPIC and THIS ......water walk is what Disney comes up with??? It's pretty. It's relaxing. But come on Disney. What happened to the magic? Where's the thrill. I will be as blunt as I can be. This is boring as hell.
Shows how far imagineering has crashed. A sidewalk with some water features with source material it doesn't even match. It's clearly utilizing pandora parts and not Polynesian theming. Hell, this belongs in AK or the Polynesian resort, not epcot. To call this an attraction is absurd. 3 years and millions for a sidewalk.
Thanks for showing this. You should consider getting some ND filters for the Osmo Pockets to decrease the shutter speed, and decrease the strobe effect on the moving water.
Really? Just squirts and sprinklers??? What is this???? And What is it doing in the middle of future world (or world whatever they want to call it) I have no idea… that said, it looks beautiful 😂
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana officially opens October 16, 2023!
I am there! ☺️

Really excited for this at epcot. We have two little boys that are obcessed with water play they will love this area.
This looks so neat!! And a great way to cool off.
stop
Was just there and saw a little bit behind the walls and it looks so cool
A park within a park. Can’t wait to check it out! 👍
The walkthrough looks gorgeous
It looks really nice and relaxing. I do wish there was more shade but i like the idea of something chill opening up
Babies love touching and playing in water. This will be a hit for kiddos.
Perfect not too long not too short it’s perfect 🤩
I'm going to be in Epcot on 9/25 and I hope it is open to the public!!
Disney should have added a Polynesian section to World Showcase celebrating the cultures of Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, etc and this would have fit in there perfectly.
Oh giv’em time. They’ll tear down Morocco and make that entire thing Moana/Polynesian
There is not one palm tree in the attraction which is the first thing you think of when you imagine a Polynesian island, a world showcase area would be great but doubt the nations would have the money to sponsor it. Half of them will be underwater by the time Disney ever thought to do it as well!
This looks like a queue for an attraction. Disney finally did it. They built a queue on its own with no ride at the end.
That is exactly what I was thinking!!
😂
This is attraction I will briefly walk through once and never return. What a squandered opportunity.
My kids spend time there all the time! It wasn’t made for you lol
Thanks for the update!!! Sure do love you AJ and your team! Looking forward to seeing this on my fall trip this year!!!! ❤
My family and I are going in November. Can’t wait to go Epcot my favorite park.
Finally!!!

Looks terrific and a perfect attraction to keep the classic spirit of EPCOT alive! Can't wait to visit JOW in November!
This is really helpful - thank you! I had no idea what to expect from this attraction.
Looks like a splash pad. This took years to build? 😂
Yep. Water aint the only fluid that's going to be recycling around that ... "attraction".
It looks like a place that will make my hair frizz! I may pass this one by on my next visit.
This is AMAZING! CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!.❤😊
Thanks for the preview. Hope it is open when we are there in a couple of months.
Can’t believe it takes Disney so long to complete projects that end up being lackluster anyways. Whilst Universal is building very possibly one of the best theme parks on the Planet in record time
Seems more fit for AK, but nice that it includes some Epcot Center edutainment
Disappointment set to 11!
I feel like this attraction will quickly lose its momentum. I mean, it’s just water. And Orlando already has it’s fair share of water…
Agreed. I think it’s a stretch to even call this an attraction.
looks fun! definitely want to check it out!
Honestly looks like it belongs in Animal Kingdom instead.
Fr. Animal kingdom is starving for more attractions.
Well that rumored Moana land being built in Dino land could come to life after we get confirmation at d23
@@swoj7180when is d23
Exactly!
100% agree!
Toddlers are going to love this.

I like how parts of it are broken already!
That’s why they do these cast previews so they can work out the kinks.

Par for the course for the Rat these days.

I'm going on 2 weeks so I'm starting to think I'm going to miss it :(

I am gonna be there the 17th -25th, really sad I will most likely miss it
We are going October 5 **hoping🤞
Hope to walk that attraction on the last week of November.
Ooooahhhhh. Ngl looks fun on a hot day
What’s the date?!
Attraction, bathroom and water bottle refill station. It's all about the water
How is this controlled? Like do we go in with a small group or is it just a bunch of people walking through (kind of like a zoo?) or is this like an actual scan you magic band attraction. I really like it! But I’m trying to understand if it’s even worth it if it’s just a ton of people in there and no crowd control.
I guess I’m not understanding how they will monitor this? Like if you can just stay in as long as you want how does that work
Why is Moana in Epcot? Universal is building a brand new theme park with a capital THEME and Disney is excited about water sprinklers that took forever to build? Sad.
Why shouldn’t Moana be in Epcot?
Please Name the THEME of Universals new theme park cause it looks like a mash of IP to me 🙄
@@minecraftdisneyresort1984 It's an EPIC UNIVERSE! Seems pretty easy to explain to me!
Definitely should not have ruined the center of Epcot with this. If it doesn’t have a cut through I’m thinking it’s a one and done.
Preview for DVC members starting September 24.
good points bought up. it's a lovely "filler" a place to relax, decompress, not get a Genie +.
It is a great attraction.
Awesome go Disney. ❤❤❤
Curious timing 🤔
I feel like it should be a joint Moana /Olaf ride tbh lol (Water has memory) l. My tween kids will love this - they love all the world Nature etc areas and the low key edutainment stuff
That is nice and awesome OK guys.
It looks cool but I’m not super excited about more walking in the heat. A water ride would have been perfect.
You have got to be kidding, a 45 minute wait for a stream.
Praying this is open in October!

In all seriousness, who expects any more from Disney these days?
This looks like it should be the queue with a ride at the end. Instead, you just exit after you walk through. 😆
On our way there now! So excited!! 😊 Was hoping it would be open, Moana is one of my favorites. Thanks for the preview! 😊
How was it?
So sad I missed this when I went 😢
I wish they took the opportunity and just build a water ride with a boat or something but instead your waiting in line for a walk through splash pad…
I think it fits better in animal kingdom. Looking forward to experiencing this though.
Reminds me of a zoo walk through...
You are cool 😎
LOOK, every one the time is finally here! The 5 year + construction is over. The walls will be coming down DEC 5th for the ALL NEW STROLLER PARKING!!!
Better be open October 3
What is the opening day ? I want to go. Thanks for sharing this with me. Meow meow 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

First to watch the full video!
Is there narration by Moana’s voice actress Auli’i Cravalho?
Thanks for showing this. You should consider getting some ND filters for the Osmo Pockets to decrease the shutter speed, and decrease the strobe effect on the moving water.
this will be a one and done for pretty much everyone. unless you have children that go through the splash pad.
Looks like a good addition to Eocot but I stll dont like that they got rid of the Fountain of Nations 😢
That structure is huge ❤ of Water
This is cool but I never saw a need for this, its kinda a waste of space.
It’s cute but I don’t think it’s going to be a huge hit. It’s boring. Disney should have approved a Moana inspired boat ride for the littles. Jen xo
Man this is disappointing
So they brought a little animal kingdom vibe to Epcot.....
With The Land Pavillion, it always had some!
But do you get to see the back side of water?
This attraction may inspire DISNEY, do new on AVATAR the way of water for the Animal Kingdom
So let's teach people how to conserve water by wasting water. Lol
What a joke. This is like a queue line. Biggest waste of money.
This atraccion is no open but in the video you see people
Todayborday is a Labor Day!
This is a great return to form for disney
You're insane. This shows how far Disney has fallen
terrible take
@@blackfox1320fr
A return to form???
Hang on....
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It is? 🤔
Have to admit, it looks very cool. But a little out of place. At least the Moana aspect of it.
I'm SOOOOOOOO EXCITED about this attraction 🎆🎇🧨🎉💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧
thats in the wrong park in my opinion. Should be in Animal kingdom
Dang, my partner and I are going at the end of September, we'll probably just miss it.
Yeah "dang" (WTF?!?!) - you're missing a LOT here, aint ya?
Looks boring, but at least it can help with the heat
Why I hated Epcot as a kid. This isn’t a fun ride. Lameeeeee
Really? Just squirts and sprinklers??? What is this???? And What is it doing in the middle of future world (or world whatever they want to call it) I have no idea… that said, it looks beautiful 😂
What a disappointment!
It belongs in one of the Water Parks not in the theme parks.
It looks really nice but I am a bit disappointed. Somebody told me it was gonna be a water ride.
There is a Moana Log Flume ride that will replace the Seas Pavillion.
@@munchichi02that's a blue sky concept that is supposed to take over dino land I animal kingdom
This seems out of place in Epcot.
I don't agree it's totally on the spirit of the concept.
