All Star Baseball 2003 and 2004 doesn't get the respect they deserve for how good of games they were back in that day. I played them constantly.

You could even see the players breath in cold weather.It's 2022 and The Show still hasn't added that tiny little detail. Or added snow I hate playing a game in franchise and it says it's 18 degrees and raining.

What is under-appreciated here is these game developers actually captured the improvement in the real Albert’s graphics over the course of his career. Truly spectacular

Mvp baseball and Triple Play were definitely two of my favorite baseball games. But the original RBI baseball for the regular Nintendo back in the day growing up was great for its time.

Back then there were several studios competing with each other making the video game market better. Now its just one. No competition. No reason to strive and do something special.
How freaking special can a baseball game get? How can they strive for more when mlb show has basically pushed the game as far as they can.

Damn MLB the show really has had the same tired commentary since 2006 ... glad they made the change in 2022 but now lines are repeated sometimes 3 times in the same game ... it's quite annoying

My uncle bought a Dreamcast from a buddy who was in debt. I found it when I was 4 in a pile of stuff with the console still in the box. He said I could have it. The first console I owned was almost 15 years older than me. Even though I don't play as often now, I still have fond memories of playing Crazy Taxi, WSB, NFL Blitz, and Sonic Adventure.
High heat , slug fest, all star baseball , espn baseball, mvp baseball and mlb 2k series were the amazing before mlb the show took over

I want to know how you got different commentary on MLB 22 the show playing on my franchise I get the same home run call every home run that I hit and in about 6 or 7 games in my franchise I probably hit about 20 homers and I always get the simple "and its gone"

Because Pujols used to play in the outfield during the early stages of his career. Before he transitioned into the infield around 2005.
