4 Players in Encore Mode! - Team Sonic Heroes - Sonic Mania Plus

- This time we bump the players up to 4 and go into encore mode, whats good about encore is that we can switch between the first 2 players and only the first 2, and for some reason the only time player 2 will come back is if they're ALL off screen, but once they are i can tap the call button multiple times to call them all back. not perfect but at least i can fix a buggy CPU unlike in regular mode where the only way to fix it is to restart or end the level.

I know, hence why I wish for that to be possible.
Imagine 8-player or even 16-player gameplay.

Can't you rotate the character slots when switched, so you can switch between each?
Character swapping is possible in encore now.

can someone tell me why tails jumps back on the screen instead of flying when respawning?
i wonder if it's possible to have the slight delay increased from player to player in this "1.75" mode (Like how Player 1.5 has input delay over player 1, only magnified) It would look a bit less jarring. Honestly though the DREAM for this mode would be 4 player Co-op. I can only imagine the possibilities

In the pc version you can enable encore pallete in mania mode, but some colors in the background are not changed
Split Screen Four Player Cooperative Play for Encore Mode might as well be inevitable now, I would be down for this if it were possible, anything to revive Sonic the Hedgehog 02 (Sega GS, Simon Wai Beta)'s Split Screen Co~op in glorious fashion for the first time since Early to Mid~'92.
