- Leeds, the third busiest railway station in the United Kingdom outside of London. The station has 17 Platforms and has recently undergone refurbishment work with a return to its original name of Leeds City. A variety of services heading around the North of the United Kingdom. Trains in this video include:
- Arriva CrossCountry Class 220/221 Voyagers.
- Northern Rail Class 142s, 144s, 150s, 153s, 158s, 170s, 322s, 333s
- LNER Azuma Class 800.
- TransPennine Express Class 185s.
Filmed on 14th September 2019, Between 13:30 and 14:00.

I love the northern rail class 333s in their new livery they're look smart, gorgeous wonderful and stunning 🙌😍🌟💖🙌
The new livery really does suite them. I'm glad Arriva have retained them instead of replacing them!
But some 333s still have the old livery even the 158s. Even though some ex. Scotrail 158s, I think their still have that livery and Arriva replace the old livery to new livery 158s, 170s (some 170s still in ScotRail around Edinburgh and some of them replaced by Arriva in Northern), 333s and 331s, but no 331s or the LNER 225 set or the HSTs sets but only the Azuma.
Who'd have thought that in the short time (4 years) between this video and now (2023) that a whole fleet would be procured, instituted and withdrawn by TPE.
This is exciting, my signature comment for Leeds! We see:
Class 170 Turbostar working Harrogate services, they look so smart!
Class 185 Desiro working Scarborough, Hull, Huddersfield, and Newcastle services before Novas.
Class 333 CAF train working Ilkeley services.
Class 158 Sprinter working Lincoln, Carlisle, York, Blackpool, and more services with just 2 carriages! Hillarious!
Class 150 Sprinter working Knottingley services. They haven't been refurbished yet.

Why are trains so late? (Between 10-20 min late)
Platform 0 is open now which has helped. The station is very busy at all times.

158s with the windows open? I thought that wasn't allowed because it upsets the air conditioning (never mind that if the aircon worked you wouldn't need to open the windows.)

Northern used to be a tad late with every train. Was frustrating when you were trying to make a connection. Seems fine now however

This is platform one yes. This video is a little old as platform zero now exists to the right of this platform. Have fun! 😃

I’d like to go to York once Transpennine start getting consistent 68 and 802 services. I think it will be a lot more diverse then.

Why do Trains running late these days 😕😔
There are many reasons Arnold, the network is under a lot more strain and there are almost twice as many running today that there was in 1990.

Thanks Harshan! To be honest with you, no reason was given, I believe it’s just congestion due to the large amount of services in this area.

Where is Lner
Hi LNER Class 91 Fan, I believe there was some issues on-route which led to some LNER services being cancelled. There is an Azuma at the end of the video. My Trains at Doncaster video was filmed on the same day as this and it has plenty of 91s, HSTs and Azumas. Thanks!

No problem at all LNER Class 91 Fan, I read all my comments and hope to reply to all my video watchers 🙂. My videos are every other Sunday (one went up today) and Harrogate is a great choice, I was hoping to go to that area before the virus but it’s obviously quite difficult now.
