Just discovered you after watching film "From Scotland with Love" very humbling. music hauntingly beautiful thanks its so sad how lazy & greedy people are now...... 2022.
What has made Scotland stand apart from many other nations is an almost universal understanding of the needs of "ordinary people" to better themselves and to receive fair treatment and opportunity. It's why my grandparents were Young Communists and, sadly, is why he died in Coastal Command in WW2. Despite having 4 kids and a protected occupation he felt the need to "fight the fascists". A great film and a fine song.

There is a need for the case to be made again but for it to be clearly thought out, costed and supported from outside Scotland too. Then it will be seen to be a serious and positive option. Until then the fear factor will win.
