Hey Alex, love your videos! I’m hoping you may be able to explain and help me understand what the benefit is of bowing the lead wrist through impact to square the face VS strengthening/matching-up the left hand grip to where the face is square with my natural release pattern? That bowing move seems to be almost universally taught by world class teaching pros so I know i must just missing the why bowing is the better way and it would be amazing if you could help give some clarity on this.
Very good!! That drill will definitely help me be more consistent with squaring the club head. As I tend to hit fading shots to the right at times. And if you close the face a bit you can hit more draw shots too. The key is getting so consistent that your brain adapts to doing it 👍
I have found that just closing the face at address slightly and then taking your swing to achieve lag will square face at impact without wrist or hand manipulation. The same reason for your club face opens will automatically square it to target at impact.
Hi Alex, really appreciate your tips. I live in Canade and do indoor golf during the winter to keep up my swing. Do you have any suggestions for drills I can do indoors that will help with my swing plane? Cheers!
Thanks for the video. I have a question about putter face alignment. I've read that putter face alignment has more affect on the ball direction than the path of the putter. If that is the case, why do pros spend so much time with putting aids perfecting their stroke. i really need help with putter face alignment. I tend to miss putts to the right. Thanks for your help.
love the channel @alexelliotgolf - played for years, high hc player, have become interested in the single plane golf swing, what are you thoughts about Moe and the single plane approach, should I change my game up?
That's a good drill but you can add to your students remind them to lead with the left hand but tell them don't forget to hit with the ball with the right hand that will get the club squared up to hit the shot you addressed the ball with they forget to hit with right hand thus leaving the face wide open a problem I had years ago your drill is good also give them something to feel the it working
I sometimes hit to much with my right hand thus I have to leave my club open at address to get things squared up it takes many hours of practice you have to practice more than you play
*This is VITAL! A drill I created as a solution to a huge problem!*
Brilliant tips again, thanks mate 👍
No problem 👍
Do you pull with the left hand or push with the right? What hand dominates in the swing?

ขอบคุณครับท่าน😁
welcome!
So them the release zone make sure they understand where the club needs to be at impact or they will never get it squared up

Yeah i do like that to be fair!
Is it bad to have more of an impact wrist position at set up and through the backswing?
Like a bowed wrist?

The swing thought I use for this in the downswing is BOWCUP my hands. BOW the left wrist at the same time as I CUP the right wrist. BOWCUP.
Left for right golfers, the right for left handed golfers
Hi Alex I'm still waiting for how to stop chicken wing
