I spent way, way too much time pondering this ins and out of this one for one of my Halloween reviews a few years back. Even got both endings. I concluded that it's *very* bad, but so damn weird that I can't bring myself to hate it. I simply can't fathom who would make a game like this or why and that makes it oddly compelling to me.
Weirdly enough, this reminds me of a game Artura, which was one of the worst games I played on the C64. It was more of an action adventure game, but what you were supposed to do wasn't well communicated, so the common experience is that you'd wander around for a bit, stuff would happen and then you'd die (much like what happened in the video!). 😆
刻 is pronounced "Toki" for this game for some reason (A historical term for a period of time) Edit: Only just saw that it's correct in the title, just not the video itself
I do my best with that stuff since a lot of errors have crept into how Japanese game titles are written on the English side of the web, and this was one of those cases where I found a good reference for the reading of the kanji a bit late.
Lucky Japan getting two more levels of this crap, haha. Not one I ever played but from the popular consensus on the internet it doesn't sound like I'm missing much of anything, so there's that.

Another supposed kusoge I actually love. I always return to this one. The famicom version is much harder and better.

I seen AVGN review the worst and horrifying game Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

What do you turn into when you take too much damage from playing bad Famicom games?
A youtuber.
Walkathon: the game
