I was at this game and the heartbreak I felt as the team ran onto the field to the boos, did something to me that day. It made me realize, that if no one else is cheering for them and this is what Spanos wants, I can't cheer for the team anymore. Still love them in my heart but have not spent a nickle on merch or anything else with the team since.

Just remember the adage, "you take you wherever you go." This problem has existed for decades. Because A) people from all over the country would rather live in So Cal than the cesspool they come from, and B) the Chargers are a perennially disappointing franchise. Chock-a-block with talent at times, they've been fraught with poor decisions at the top. And moving to LA is yet the latest example. You build a fanbase by winning. Anyone who has watched Hoosiers or Slapshot knows that. Winning attracts fans AND gets stadiums approved. Not rocket science, folks.

To the Chargers fan from the beginning of the video, don't blame Eagles fans for being passionate. No idea why that's always annoyed me, yes they are an intense bunch, but it is due to passion and loyalty. Go ask a random person on the street in Philadelphia what was the greatest moment of their life? Some may say the birth of a child of course, a lot however will also say when the eagles won the sb. Hypothetically if the chargers too had won a sb i could bet most of the fanbase would not be nearly as appreciative. Blame yourself, your city, your team, and your fanbase, as they're to blame as Eagles fans are how fans are supposed to be, not there fault your team is historically dysfunctional, and that your fanbase is not the most passionate. Like is football even the #1 sport in L.A.? I would assume that would be basketball, even in san diego, a lot of padres fans. Come to Philly and everyone is an eagles fan, 25% might say they prefer the flyer (as we are a huge hockey town, always have been), and some will even say the sixers. I myself personally have it change way too often to make an actual statement as to which is my favorite, but football and hockey are pretty much tied as my favorite sport, love basketball too, but not as much, dont really care for baseball. I also tbh don't hate soccer, and I am also a pro wrestling fan, and an old school boxing fan (not the current product). The Eagles and Flyers tho outweigh all of them combined.

LA is a city where a ton of people from elsewhere move to. You'll see your fair share of people who aren't from here, so our fan base is going to be pretty diverse. However, there is no question that the Dodgers and Lakers are the two biggest teams.
